Stargazer
Strange how I decided to watch one of these episodes for the first time in recent memory and how this was the episode I chose to watch today. What this reminds me of is that story about how I survived the crash of the L-1011 "Stargazer" on 27 June 1994 because I was propelled through the windshield as I was the pilot of the aircraft. The reality is the none of us actually survived the crash. The aircraft hit the ground at a tremendous speed after spiraling from forty feet above the ground and was virtually vaporized upon impact. I am the recipient of some kind of highly advanced technology that allows me to reemerge in physical form after my physical body is destroyed and I did reemerge that day but after about two days had elapsed in the real world and I was over a thousand miles from the crash point. There is some kind of force that controls that advanced technology that controlling force makes changes to the reemergence process and that was why I did not immediately reemerge. Until 1998, every time I reemerged after my physical body was destroyed, I always returned as the exact same person I was before, with knowledge in my mind up to the very second that my physical body was destroyed.
My return in 1998 was different though. I returned but I am a composite version of Tom Reagan and Kerry Burgess. I am not as tall as Tom Reagan and I am as tall as Kerry Burgess but I do not have the physical scars of Kerry Burgess, such as the gunshot wound scar he had on his shoulder.

Later, Thouless also explained the quantum Hall effect, stepwise shifts in electrical conductivity in thin layers.

Mr. Denton on Doomsday
I have referenced before that 1959 episode of "The Twilight Zone" titled "Mr. Denton on Doomsday" but only today am I watching the episode. On tv.com they have a link to view the episode for free (as free as anything is on the internet) on hulu.com and I am watching it today and nothing is familiar about it, suggesting I have never watched it before.
The reason this all seems compelling is the scene just before Rod Serling appears the first time and narrates his opening dialog.
"Denton" is crawling around in the dirt in the roadway in front of the saloon and he runs over to pick up the broken bottle of whisky thrown there by his agitator.
So that's compelling to me because the only alcohol I consume is in a bottle of beer.
I stopped drinking beer about three months ago. I haven't had any form of alcohol in about three months, maybe just over three months now, not really certain the last day I drank beer.
On the last day I was drinking beer I was thinking about how I was going to stop drinking beer after that day.

A few minutes ago I started thinking that maybe I started at Princeton University in 1972. I would have been 13 at the time as Thomas Ray. I remember that Kerry Burgess started first grade in 1972. But then I decided that I probably started Princeton earlier than 1972 and maybe 1972 was the year I completed my first major degree. Or 1972 doesn’t really mean anything in particular to Thomas Ray; rather it is there for continuity sake for the life of Kerry Burgess.

Also, "Salesman." I saw that in a dream while sleeping recently. I saw myself going through an induction process in the United States Marine Corps and I woke up understanding that I was dreaming of my actual experience in 1990. I saw a document that indicated I was being inducted to the United States Marine Corps with the officer grade of Chief Warrant Officer 2. I saw in the dream another document associated with my induction and that document indicated I had been assigned the informal name "Salesman."
