Krall: [to Uhura] The Federation has pushed the frontier for centuries. But no longer. This is where it begins, Lieutenant. This is where the frontier pushes back.

I know why those UFO-worshippers are so worked up in their UFO-porno frenzy:
Because of all the tv-shows cancelled before closure
Colony
The Crossing
Just a couple I can think of off-hand, I've seen several more scanning through Amazon
They never got closure

I started looking through Amazon Prime Reading for a title that seems interesting to me
And reminded me of a sleeping dream early this morning that reminded me of my observations stemming from book "Portals"

"This is it"
20 years slaving fruitlessly over this computer trying to find what I know must be there
20 years, finding something, happening to me, trivial details forming in my mind, clutching at for answers of how to use it and This Is It
b/
This is it, how do I use it, and it won't let me control it, it controls me, and This Is It

20 years, searching for answers to 'why' and now after 20 years, finally, the day comes, This Is It

If I recall correctly then this is only the second time I have watched the Amazon Prime video for the 2016 "Star Trek Beyond". I doubt I would have ever before watched that production if not for its convenient availability on Amazon Prime Video.
I have expressed before my disgust with the reboot of "Star Trek", which was set a low-bar to begin with, often leading me to wonder if the recent series of installments were supposed to be sarcastic.
I haven't watched in a long time the predecessor of the 2016 "Beyond" but this newest version is clearly superior in many regards.
The visuals are in my opinion the best of any other sci-fi production that me and Dr. Coors can think of right now. The concepts of artificial gravity are a lot more intriguing in the setting of the "Yorktown".
My favorites installments of the entire collection of "Star Trek", television and movie, was the 1994 and 1996 and my guess is that I personally directed the production of those films.
Personally created by me personally because I knew the future. I knew in the future I would be sitting here now again for another stupid day at this stupid computer and I would be again completely on my own personal initiative trying to find answers.
As for the 2016 "Star Trek Beyond", they make me want to see the next installment.
My favorite installment is the 1996 film and the more I see the 2016 video the more I think that's going to overcome "First Contact".
The ending of the 2016 isn't really that great, because it's more about action than about suspense, but still, the overall video is interesting.
The references to the previous films and its alternate historical timeline seems almost lame to me but then I can also understand how that could be crafted towards the younger generation.
Watching it again in these early morning hours I was constantly reminded of that jogging outfit I wore that one cold day in Seattle. I've searched for those photos of me I can still vaguely visualize from that day but I've never found copies on the internet. I was thinking of how there could be a similar appearance to those uniforms they wore. And then there was a few months later the premiere of "Stargate Atlantis". Those uniforms have a distinct similarity to that jogging outfit I wore in Seattle a few months earlier.

My Seattle Marathon race number, for the event I successfully completed on 30 November 2003, was the same as the room number they assigned to me at The Vermont Inn-Apartments in December 2006.
I didn't record the precise calendar date I moved in there. I know I was still living in that homeless shelter for veterans in Shoreline Washington State on Christmas Day 2006 but I was in the Vermont Inn-Apartments on New Years Eve 2006 because I remember sitting there on the roof-top deck and watching the fireworks from the Space Needle from about a block away.
The Space Needle was also the starting point and finishing point of the Seattle Marathon in 2003.
That Seattle Marathon race date was the same date listed for the premiere of the television movie "The Reagans" starring James Brolin in his portrayal of Ronald Reagan.
I was still a full-time employee of Microsoft Corporation at the time.
Only today did I notice that my bib number was the same. I found it online at the official site and then compared with email records I still have that contain my address at The Vermont.
