When I posted that recent note on the topic of this video referenced here today, I resumed the video at the point of the illustration I made
As I thought, the important elements later in the video were familiar to me when I finally got to that point.
As far as a disaster-movie-genre goes, it is very good. The effects are well developed for an almost 20 years old production of good quality. It's just the overall story that is ridiculous and I don't think it was intended to parody the mass-hysteria hype of that moronic Mayan Calendar 2012 global hysteria
Completely absolutely 100% unfamiliar to me are the scenes I reached later, after making that blog-post by me here on my blog.
