How I miss going out riding my Litespeed bicycle on that trail in Redmond. That 6-mile run I used to do along that trail; I miss that a lot.

Using that calculation, the date 11/5/75 computes to 0.593. The date 11/5/75 comes up in other places, but I can’t remember precisely what it means. I have been thinking it represents the date I traveled farther than a million miles from Earth. I don’t remember.
How I wish I could get back into riding my bicycle 50 miles and going out to jog for 6 miles. I need a vacation from these goddamn zombies. To just be able to go out after work and train for triathlons is the perfect life for me.

Ageing to 60 years soon, I have discovered personally what old-people already know for fact:
Life is pointless.
Only gets worse with each passing day.
Most people take the cowardly way out with your delusions of religion and that is why you monkey-humans so desperately cling to the false-hope of any religion.
Because you cannot cope with reality.
You delude yourself into thinking you have an Imaginary Friend with a beard "up there" RIDICULOUSLY! in the clouds and that he thinks you're the most special monkey in all of the Universe, which for your dim-wit mind is only the horizon of this spherical planet Earth.
For me, I am very certain that what I remember from the year 2004 was BECAUSE of what is happening *now* and that I am discovering and observing and describing in my blog

Life if pointless, but if I had taken a different path back in the year 2004 then I think of how much better life would be for me now
I would still be an active, amateur elite triathlete. In year 2004, my base salary was about $80,000 per year. The BOL says that is now today the equivalent of more than $138,000. And that would be meaningful only if my salary had stayed the same. Which it would not have and would be more. Because I was smart and ambitious. I wanted my employer to be successful and I wanted to be successful.
So, everything from year 2004 is only because of what I am doing now.
I am old and poor and the past 20 years has been wasted.
For what?
Look at my discoveries and observations and what was the point of it all?
If I had to waste the past 20 years just to discover the pointlessness of life then I could have done it in the comfort I would have had from having a great salary.
Instead, I have to waste it at this stupid desk and with more pointless blog-posts.

Today I am pleased to sign into law H.R. 4864, the "Veterans Claims Assistance Act of 2000." The Act reaffirms and clarifies the duty of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to assist claimants in developing evidence pertinent to their claims for VA benefits. It eliminates the previous requirement that a claim be wellgrounded before VA's duty to assist arises. The Act requires the Secretary to make reasonable efforts to assist a claimant in obtaining evidence to substantiate his or her claim unless it is clear that no reasonable possibility exists that the Secretary's assistance would aid in substantiating the claim. As under current law, the Secretary must consider the entire record of evidence, and when there is an approximate balance of positive and negative evidence regarding an issue material to the determination of a matter, the Secretary must give the benefit of the doubt to the claimant.
Veterans seeking benefits from this Government are deserving of all reasonable assistance that VA has to offer. The benefits administered by the Secretary are a means by which the Nation expresses its profound gratitude for the many sacrifices our veterans have made
