Today is 05/09/2026

See, this answers my original question: Why?

Why all the mainstream hype of that marketing-gimmick they are calling "A.I"

BECAUSE 'chatbot' means nothing special

All that ridiculous "A.I." nonsense is based on nothing new. The question people should be asking is: Why now?

We are through the looking-glass here, people!

YOU JUST WATCH!

I don't know. Maybe this all this power does that I have.

It is not as easy to use as a toaster.

I can't just think of something to put into the toaster, flip a lever and then wait for the toast to pop up.

I have to figure out how to make this think work for me so I can get out of here.

Also, maybe it deliberately lies to me.

It lies to me about stuff that is going to happen.

But there is no disputing I possess some kind of formidable power.

I just have to figure out how to use it so I can get out of this miserable place.

04/04/11 4:01 AM

I just synchronized the clock on my internet computer with the Microsoft time server and my desk clock radio time is forty seconds ahead of my internet computer time.

04/04/11 4:02 AM

I just manually sychronized this offline computer with my internet computer

by me, Kerry Burgess, excerpts from my then-private journal: 04/11/11 1:00 PM

This test scheduled for 1:24 PM 11 April 2011 will be nothing except to listen for what is playing on FM 102.5 Seattle Washington radio at that time, of which I have no source of that information before that time other than to listen to the radio at that specific time.

04/11/11 1:16 PM

This song by The Cars that is now playing is always deceptively long. You think it is going to end but then it keeps going. I never get tired of hearing it play.

I'll have to look up the duration that is listed for that song. I wasn't really paying attention when it started but I am certain that song was not playing until after I made my last entry and after I decided on the basis for my next test.

The song ended right around 1:18:00 PM and The Doors started playing "Love me two times."

04/11/11 1:21 PM

About 01:21:10 PM the song "You ain't seen nothing yet" has started to play on FM 102.5 KZOK Seattle Washington radio.

04/11/11 1:24 PM

On FM 102.5 KZOK Seattle Washington radio at 1:24:00 PM by my clock that same song was still playing and I heard the specific lyrics:

baby you just aint seen nothing yet

Say everyone had a best friend who was always available, never judgmental, totally on the same page about everything and needed nothing in return. Wouldn’t that solve the loneliness so many people are facing?

No, experts say. In fact, having a best friend like that might make things much worse.

That potential “BFF” already exists in artificial intelligence — a technology that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg suggested last year could help fix feelings of loneliness and isolation. This is a problem that needs solving.

by me, Kerry Burgess, June 25, 2025, my directed response to rando:

I tried to read it but I could not get past this ridiculousness:

"When collaborating with humans in decision making processes"

The desktop-computer or internet-connected mobile-phone DOES NOT "collaborate" with humans.

Are you academics just peddling a marketing-gimmick?
