Weird how memory can be so wrong
Not sure the first time I saw the 1965 "The Bedford Incident"
Most likely did not see it while on active-duty US Navy enlisted from 1984 to 1990. Cannot believe now all these decades later it was a movie they would let us see at sea
There are two details that cause me to refer to it in this note
The first detail is dialog from that medical-doctor on the ship.
That became more important to me because only today I noted the release date for New York City
One other detail is how I seem to have somehow created a false-memory about it. Apparently, I viewed it in the year 2011. There are references in my journal that begin in year 2011 and I guess it was because I had viewed it just then. Somehow, a false memory was created in my mind that the US Navy ship was a Leahy-class or Belknap-class. They were basically the same type, as I understand, only with different armament and looking at the ship from in front of the bow, they were basically identical. Now I see now nothing like that skimming through the video. I learned today it was actually a British ship they used for the real images, some sort of plastic model ship for other imagery.
This becomes relevant to me because of the doctor's dialog.
This note began because of surgery performed on me while active-duty
Began with leg pain after I transferred from my first ship and was in school for almost two years
Eventually, after many doctor visits, the one doctor I visited at that hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, told me of tension exercises I could perform easily to alleviate the pain
I completely believe he was right
At the time, however, I literally scoffed at the suggestion
What was probably caused by the those bunks we all slept in, with a thin mattress over a metal plate, could have probably been eliminated with exercise. I was no longer standing upright all the time, after all those countless hour on bridge-watch and other watch-standing, and muscles might have contracted and tightened, causing pain.
I went on active-duty 3 days after graduating high-school. I was in excellent physical condition from several menial-labor employments I had for summers and after-school. Also, aged 18 years there was one fact about me that was completely obvious: I was 100% dependable.
I have already researched the dates that surgery was scheduled and performed and I am looking at that again now, because of Pluribus, causing me to literally think of yesterday
Whatever is happening here, it's very real to me
If I'm right then it is completely unstoppable by now
How it turns out is anybody's guess and that's all I can do
The 1965 "The Bedford Incident" is a dramatic and suspenseful story and there is absolutely no rational reason it would be the root-cause of anything I discover.
Dialog from today is what caused me to generate the new content in this note.

The facts as I remember it all seem so tantalizing consistent to me. I've explored several different possibilities and explanations, such as "time travel information". The theory that people with knowledge of future events knew that event would happen in Iowa, they couldn't stop it, but what they could do was send me along clandestinely, for some reason, among several I have theorized. So - because of that knowledge of the future - I theorize - this code-pattern begins to exhibit a familiar pattern pointing to the event in Iowa.
But I ain't mad.
Begins for me with surgery on 04/19/1989. Precisely three months later is the event in Iowa.

I find myself thinking of some "memories" of when I was assigned to the USS Wainwright. The ship had left port for a short regional deployment and I stayed back because I had a medical appointment on base. Or something like that. Not really sure why I didn't leave with the ship but it was because of some appointment on base. After that appointment, there was a period before the ship was due back when I was assigned to work in an office there on base.
