This Is What I Think.

Today is 08/04/2025, Post #2

I have several times started and stopped the 2006 tv-series from Sci Fi Channel "The Lost Room"

Presently, it remains available on Tubi in 3 installments

Today, this day 08/04/2025, I allowed myself to resume watching it

I started at the point where he is in some sort of establishment that I think caters to people who are neurotic enough to mutilate their bodies with ink-tattoos

The general appearance reminds me of Sprague Avenue, on the east side of Spokane

And the dialog again makes me think of Spokane, "technically"

Back in year 2004, I was staying at a place called Crossland on Sprague Avenue.

At that point, it was part of the new City of Spokane Valley, having incorporated formally in the year 2003.

Before it incorporated, it was referred to as Opportunity on the map. My understanding is that was an area around known as Vera and if I understand correctly then it was a census-designated name and not so much a formal city, not really sure. Now, the City of Spokane and the City of Spokane Valley share a common border, at Havana

Anyway, the dialog and the visuals I had seen before and made some comments about

The highway they stand on after arriving at Gallup, New Mexico - "Technically, it's just outside Gallup" - reminds me of Sprague Avenue and Sullivan

Once, I noted that Sprague Avenue, which has probably been designated as such for about 100 years now, aligns directly with the solar equinox, autumn and spring, so you're getting blinded with sunshine on those days driving along Sprague Avenue

Joe: It's all right. You're not in hell anymore.

Today - for the first time ever - I discovered - because I began watching that video again today - that George Gallup established his famed company - named after him - in Princeton, New Jersey, back in year 1935.

What makes this all seem compelling to me is that I allowed myself to continue watching the video. For the first time ever, I allowed myself to watch video the remainder of that episode. Tubi lists it as episode 2, "The Comb and the Box"

About half-way through the episode, we learn about May 4th, 1961, and that has always been the point where I have stopped viewing the episode. Today was the first time ever I continued past it and viewed what happens to Joe when he and the other guy go into Room 9

These new observations today caused me to look at the pattern of my original-work code-pattern and describe here my observations

I continue looking at this from the standpoint it is leading me somewhere I want to go from here.

KIRK: How are the stone knives and bearskins?

SPOCK: I may have found our focal point in time.

KIRK: You may also find you have a connection burning someplace.

SPOCK: Yes. I'm overloading those lines. I believe we'll have our answer on this screen.

KIRK: Good.

SPOCK: And, Captain, you may find this a bit distressing.

KIRK: Let's see what you have.

SPOCK: I've slowed down the recording we made from the time vortex.
