I have been meaning to look this up for a while, since I have noticed the promo's for the television series "The Walking Dead." Brian De Palma was on the 1987 film "The Untouchables" and the 2000 film "Mission To Mars."
Is she the Gale I "remember" from my artificial and symbolic memory? None of my memory from 1994 to 1998, which featured "Gale," and certainly from 1990 and later, is real. My memory from 1990, and with exceptions pre-1990, is not real and entirely from 1990 is all fiction.

Gale Anne Hurd (born October 25, 1955) is a Hollywood film producer and writer.
Movie career
She soon joined New World Pictures as executive assistant to Roger Corman, the company president. She worked her way up through various administrative positions and eventually became involved in production. She formed her own production company, Pacific Western Productions, in 1982 and went on to produce a number of box-office hits including The Terminator (1984), Aliens (1986) and The Abyss (1989). She later married Brian De Palma. She produced the upcoming drama series The Walking Dead.
