Sean O'Keefe (born January 27, 1956) is a former [ fraudulent ]Administrator of NASA, leading the space agency from December 2001 to February 2005. The Chief of the Astronaut Office is the most senior astronaut position at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The Chief Astronaut serves as head of the NASA Astronaut Corps and is the principal advisor to the NASA Administrator on astronaut training and operations.
History
The position was created in November 1963 when Alan Shepard was named as the first Chief Astronaut. His responsibilities included monitoring the coordination, scheduling, and control of all activities involving NASA astronauts. This included monitoring the development and implementation of effective training programs to assure the flight readiness of available pilot/non-pilot personnel for assignment to crew positions on manned space flights; furnishing pilot evaluations applicable to the design, construction, and operations of spacecraft systems and related equipment; and providing qualitative scientific and engineering observations to facilitate overall mission planning, formulation of feasible operational procedures, and selection and conduct of specific experiments for each flight.

NASA Releases Plans for Next Generation Spacecraft
NASA Administrator Michael Griffin today released the results of the agency's exploration architecture study – a blueprint for the next generation of spacecraft to take humans back to the moon and on to Mars and other destinations.
The study makes specific design recommendations for a vehicle to carry crews into space, a family of launch vehicles to take crews to the moon and beyond, and a "lunar mission architecture" for landing on the moon. It also recommends the technologies NASA should pursue in the near term.

Insignia

Congratulations on your decision to join the Navy and Naval Special Warfare. Be assured that your career as a SEAL will be one that you will enjoy and be proud of for the rest of life. Even though you recently qualified for the SEAL Challenge, the Naval Special Warfare Community wants to welcome you and ensure that you understand your future and the challenge ahead of you.
The community consists of six Major Commands with a total of 2450 SEAL Operators, Naval Special Warfare Command reports directly to U.S. Special Operations Command, located in Tampa FL. SEALS routinely deploy to CENTCOM, PACOM, EUCOM, and SOUTHCOM where they are assigned under specific Special Operations chains of command directly responsible to their theatre combatant commander.
SEALS undergo their initial training at the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, CA. SEAL training is extremely physically demanding. Applicants must be in excellent physical condition. SEAL training is not designed to "get you in shape". You must have led a lifestyle of physical fitness to pass the specific physical screening tests described below. These tests are the minimum threshold for individual fitness. You must be able to consistently increase your rate of performance throughout SEAL training in order to be successful in the training pipeline.

Damn I am fatigued today. I woke with a clear thought in my mind: 11-14. I guess that is a date; perhaps 11/14/86. I remember a lot of clear images from my dreams, but the meaning isn't clear. I remember some of them were of President Reagan giving speeches and being photographed with people. There was one of him with a woman and it seemed to be something to do with a medal being presented for the first time and she was receiving the medal; I guess for her husband. It wasn't until I started writing this that I consciously understood the similarity to the Prisoner Of War Medal from 1986 I have been writing about, but yet, in the dream, it wasn't that medal. And I have seen that woman before, and in the dream, I spent a lot of time searching for her on the internet to figure out who she was because she was so familiar, but I never did figure out who she was. As for that medal, there is a lot from the dream I cannot articulate. I associate that speech
Reagan was giving with a word I read. It was TERRAIN or EXPLORER. I can't remember which one it was, but it was written like that; in bold letters and then there was some text describing something. There is so much I can't articulate about that dream. The word just appeared in my mind that it was a 'quest' I was on later in the dream.

That dream I wrote of recently about being on a boat and Phoebe was there. I have been wondering about that again today and I think it has been lingering just below my conscious awareness. That was the dream, and I can still visualize these details, where I was looking through the sights of a gun as I was shooting at an aircraft. Then a large aircraft flew by with smoke streaming out of it. Then I was shooting a machine gun at some kind of large gun emplacement, which I later started thinking was actually a tank, and I was trying to hit the hydraulic lines to disable to gun turret. I am wondering if the reason I saw Phoebe in that dream is because I was with her on a boat not long after that combat action. For instance, I was out there there in combat somewhere far away and then I saw Phoebe in the dream because I went home on leave and we were together. I'm not sure why I dreamed all that and that is a curious thought in itself. I have the strangest
dreams. Not just the details in the dreams but I puzzle over something about the dreams that I cannot begin to articulate.
