This Is What I Think.

This is my original-work code-pattern. I created this process completely by myself, using my prior knowledge of computer software programming. Literally, the human brain is not capable of generating these results.

It never existed in any form in my conscious mind before May 10, 2006. Because of that, I take seriously these observations

That day in 2006 coincides with my treatment by the VA hospital psychiatric hospital in Seattle during 2005 and 2006

Whatever this is supposed to mean, it reinforces my stated hypothesis

All I know for certain is what is in my own mind. Everyone else, I have no resources to prove or disprove, the contents of your mind.

I document my observations and post on my blog so that other people know what I am seeing, except of course, private emails and I see no point in documenting personal details about you in this exchange in my blog. My suspicion is that every person is affected.

All that matters in this exchange is: what *you* think.

Only *you* can read this subjective interpretation by me and wonder *how* this could have happened. These results are because of *your* words sent to me.

Because of the date of your message, I describe this as: Event Date variable = 12/07/2024

I examine the results and watch for repeating patterns

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identification_(literature)

Identification (literature)

From Wikipedia

Identification refers to the automatic, subconscious psychological process in which an individual becomes like or closely associates themselves with another person by adopting one or more of the others' perceived personality traits, physical attributes, or some other aspect of their identity. The concept of identification was founded by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud in the 1920’s, and has since been expanded on and applied in psychology, social studies, media studies, and literary and film criticism. In literature, identification most often refers to the audience identifying with a fictional character, however it can also be employed as a narrative device whereby one character identifies with another character within the text itself.

Quotes

Kaffee: Colonel Jessup, did you order the Code Red?

Judge Randolph: You don't have to answer that question!

Col. Jessup: I'll answer the question!

[to Kaffee]

Col. Jessup: You want answers?

Kaffee: I think I'm entitled to.

Col. Jessep: You want answers?

Kaffee: I WANT THE TRUTH!

Col. Jessup: YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!

[pauses]

Col. Jessup: Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know; that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, *saves lives*. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a *damn* what you think you are entitled to!

Kaffee: Did you order the code red?

Col. Jessup: I did the job I...

Kaffee: [interrupts him] *Did you order the Code Red?*

Col. Jessup: *You're God damn right I did!*

Saratoga communications officer: No response, sir. And the T.D.R.S. system confirms our signal has been received.

Lt. Colonel McQueen: Have it pinpoint the location of the signal reception.

Saratoga communications officer: The linking tracking satellite was taken out in the firefight.

Lt. Colonel McQueen: So what you're saying is they can hear us, but we can't hear them.

Saratoga communications officer: Sir, just because a signal is being received doesn't mean there's anyone around to receive it.

excerpts, by me, Kerry Burgess, 12/01/2023 04:15 AM

As though the Julian Jaynes bicameral gods are telling me - non-verbally - stories that I will discover in the future. That's a contradiction, however, to the concept Julian Jaynes expertly describes in his book. I am extending his concept about what happened to the people of ancient times and adapting to my own personal observations about my own personal experiences and I am suggesting that everyone today is affected by the notion I theorize. Far as I know, Jaynes never tried to suggest that the human species - past and present - have some sort of "back door" vulnerability to foreign influence by extraterrestrial intelligence. And I am not suggesting E.T. is here *now* and is still mind-controlling people to do stuff they would not have done anyway. Rather, I am more inclined to accept the fictional notion established in tangible form under the name James Corey and his "protomolecule". The human species forced into a collective consciousness by an alien race but they created it more than a billion years ago so don't take it personally.

Season Num: 1

First Aired: Sunday December 17, 1995

Christmas Eve finds the 58th in dire straits: its transport vehicle, damaged in battle, is hurtling uncontrolled into enemy territory and the pilots must struggle to stay alive with no power, no weapons, and no hope of being rescued.

1LT Vanessa Damphousse: McQueen.

1LT Cooper Hawkes: What the -

1LT Nathan West: It's that old TV show where one guy's like a bat and the other one's like a bird.

I like that show.

1LT Kelly Winslow: Wow! I guess we caught a lucky break. A good TV show before drifting off into eternity.

1LT Shane Vansen: If we ever get home, we should chip in and get McQueen a good therapist.

Lt. Colonel McQueen: Roger that, S.A.R. 1.

Saratoga crewman: Colonel, here's the optical disk you requested.

Lt. Colonel McQueen: Queen 6 to Wild Cards, this is your interstellar disc jockey, Colonel McQueen.

Here's a little something I would like you to hear.

It occurred 95 years ago last evening.

It's a message to the Earth from the first men to orbit the Moon.

It's not my Christmas present. That'll be to get you home.

00:22:39

Apollo 8 recording playback: And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a merry Christmas, and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth.

Lt. Colonel McQueen [ radio communication ]: We believe your radio to be in receive-only mode. We're presently conducting search and rescue operations in the Procyon System. I know you're out there. Hold on. Don't lose faith.

1LT Paul Wang: We're not in the Procyon System. We're far from it. We got knocked out in the firefight.

1LT Cooper Hawkes: We're dumping in the river.

1LT Kelly Winslow: That must be Hawkes way of trying to say that we're up a creek without a paddle.

1LT Paul Wang: Well, he's almost right. If we were on Earth, our ship would seem to be going through the Eridanus Constellation. A river of stars.

WEST: If Wang knows our position ... we can send out a bistatic lydar flare. If they find it they'll know our actual position.

DAMPHOUSSE: B.L.F. canisters are fired out of pulse cannons. We haven't the power.

VANSEN: Look, we could drop it out of the air lock. It's better than nothing.

WANG: It isn't better than nothing. Our position is beyond the Von Braun line. ... We're in no-man's-land ... falling ... towards enemy territory. A flare'll just ... announce our presence to the Chigs.

Cut to the Saratoga cockpit hangar.

ROSS: Colonel, you've requested ten S.A.Rs to search for the five-eight in the Procyon region.

McQUEEN: Yes, sir.

ROSS: That area was just subjected to an intensive aerial engagement. One from which our heavily armed ships were forced to retreat. I can not despatch ten lightly armed ...

McQUEEN: Then send five, sir.

ROSS: The battleship Charles Lacey Veach is under attack. We have been ordered to provide all possible ...

McQUEEN: Then send one, sir. I'll fly it.

ROSS: Colonel, searching for them with a hundred ships in that vast region of space is the equivalent of trying to find a specific drop of water in the Mississippi river.

McQUEEN: As long as I know that drop is there, sir, I'm going to try and find it.

Ross turns to leave.

ROSS: You can have three ships. No fighter support. And the first sign of any Chigs they are to get the hell out of there.

McQUEEN: Aye, aye. ... Thank you, sir.

Cut to the Wild Cards.

VANSEN: The cabin temperature is dropping.

WINSLOW: The secondary power is running low, that's why.

DAMPHOUSSE: If I were at home, in New York tonight ... we'd all be around the fire place right now.

WEST: At this rate, in a couple of hours, it'll be below freezing.

Music starts coming from the radio. It's the theme from the 1960s tv show Batman and Robin. They gather around the radio

DAMPHOUSSE: McQueen.

HAWKES: What the ...?

WEST: It's that old TV show ... where ... one guy's like a bat and the other one's like a ... bird. I liked that show.

WINSLOW: Wow, I guess we caught a lucky break, a good tv show before drifting off into eternity.

VANSEN: If we ever get home we should chip in and get McQueen a good therapist.

WANG: It's not McQueen. Television signals have been inadvertently beamed into space since ... the 1940s. We're probably just intercepting it.

University may pay millions for computer recalibration

By MARSHALL M. BURKES

The imminent arrival of the year 2000 isn't causing much celebration among some university administrators. Computer systems used by many of the university's administrative departments have already begun to fall victim to a widespread glitch known as "the 2000 problem," Vice President for Computing and Information Technology Ira Fuchs said. The problem occurs when older computer systems, like many of those the university uses, try to do calculations involving dates after Dec. 31, 1999. Most of these systems only use the last two digits of a year, and therefore cannot distinguish between years such as 1996 and 2096.

It may cost the university between $800,000 and $5 million to correct the 2000 problem, Associate Provost Georgia Nugent '73 said. The expenses of fixing the 2000 problem have been grouped with a larger effort to update the university's computer systems, Fuchs said. That plan, known as "Partnership 2000," may cost $50 million, he added. Under Partnership 2000, all university departments will evaluate their computer systems and upgrade them

Jet Carrying 293 Crashes, Burns in Iowa; 166 Survive

July 20, 1989 J. MICHAEL KENNEDY and BOB BAKER Times Staff Writers

SIOUX CITY, Iowa - A crippled United Airlines DC-10 crashed a half-mile short of a runway while trying to make an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon, bursting into a cartwheeling fireball that broke into what one eyewitness described as "15,000 pieces" and killing at least 123 of the 293 passengers and crew members on board.

Remarkably, as many as 166 persons survived the violent crash, according to Richard Vohs, a spokesman for Iowa Gov. Terry E. Branstad. The fate of four others was not immediately known.

Tail Engine Explodes

The plane's tail engine exploded before the crash but it was not immediately clear how the explosion contributed to what a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman called "complete hydraulic failure," an occurrence regarded as extremely rare in the wide-bodied DC-10, which has three independent hydraulic systems that operate all the plane's control surfaces on its wings and tail, and landing gear and brakes.

As rescuers worked underneath floodlights to remove bodies from the crash site, original estimates of the death toll--one as high as 190, which would have made the crash the second worst in U.S. history--were reduced.

"We don't have a firm count" of the dead, Vohs acknowledged at a press conference seven hours after the crash. "But right now, the number (of survivors) confirmed is 166."

The survivors of Wednesday's United Flight 232 from Denver to Philadelphia via Chicago included several dozen passengers who managed to walk out of a dark, smoke-filled, upside-down section of the jet after it broke off and came to rest in a tall cornfield off the runway.

"I walked out (through the back of the plane) and found myself in the cornfield," passenger David Landsberger told Cable News Network. "We were all walking around in shock. I just walked through it like it was a dream. I was a little dazed."

"It's the goddamndest thing I ever saw in my life," said Charles Mertz of Castle Rock, Colo., another of those who walked away.

USS Indianapolis survivor: 'That first morning, we had sharks'

Corporal Edgar Harrell was a Marine, a 20-year-old kid, who finished his watch on the USS Indianapolis at midnight July 29, 1945. It was unbearably hot, stifling down below where his berth was, so he got permission to make a pallet on deck, right under the barrels of the No. 1 forward turret.

Harrell had just dozed off.

And then, a few minutes into July 30, the world exploded.

The USS Indianapolis, with 1,196 sailors and Marines aboard, was hit by two of six torpedoes fired by a Japanese submarine. The 610-foot-long heavy cruiser was chopped into three sections, all of which were sinking.

Metal groaned and twisted, water churned and rose, and men scrambled and screamed. Three-quarters of the crew would die in the disaster.

Col. Jessup: [in Jessup's office after Kendrick was asked to leave] Matthew, sit down, please.

[Lt. Col. Markinson sits]

Col. Jessup: What do you think of Kendrick?

Lt. Col. Matthew Andrew Markinson: Nathan, I don't think that my opinion of Kendrick has any...

Col. Jessup: I think he's kind of a weasel, myself. But he's an awfully good officer, and in the end we see eye to eye on the best way to run a Marine Corps unit. We're in the business of saving lives, Matthew. That's a responsibility we have to take pretty seriously. And I believe that taking a Marine who's not quite up to the job and shipping him off to another assignment, puts lives in danger.

[Markinson begins to stand]

Col. Jessup: Matthew, siddown.

Lt. Col. Matthew Andrew Markinson: [sits]

Col. Jessup: We go back a while. We went to the Academy together, we were commissioned together, we did our tours in Vietnam together. But I've been promoted up through the chain of command with greater speed and success than you have. Now if that's a source of tension or embarrassment for you, well, I don't give a shit. We're in the business of saving lives, Lieutenant Colonel Markinson. Don't ever question my orders in front of another officer.

Col. Jessup: [in Jessup's office] Hmmmm... transfer Santiago. Yes, I'm sure you're right. I'm sure that's the thing to do. Wait, I've got a better idea. Let's transfer the whole squad off the base. Let's... On second thought, Windward! Let's transfer the whole Windward Division off the base. John, go on out there and get those boys down off the fence, they're packing their bags. Tom!

Tom: Yes, sir!

Col. Jessup: Get me the President on the phone. We're surrendering our position in Cuba!

Tom: Yes, sir.

Col. Jessup: Wait a minute, Tom, don't get the President just yet. Maybe we should consider this for a second. Dismissed, Tom. Maybe, and I'm just spit balling here, maybe, we have a responsibility as officers to traing Santiago. Maybe we as officers have a responsibility to this country to see to that the men and women charged with its security are trained professionals. Yes, I'm certain that I read that somewhere once. And now I'm thinking,Col. Markinson, that your suggestion of transferring Santiago, while expeditious and certainly painless, might not be, in a matter of speaking, the American way. Santiago stays where he is. We're gonna train the lad!
