The body of the fourth U.S. Army soldier who disappeared during a training exercise in Lithuania last week was found Tuesday afternoon, military officials announced.
They had disappeared during a training exercise on March 25, when their M88A2 Hercules armored recovery vehicle submerged in a peat bog.

As though the Julian Jaynes bicameral gods are telling me - non-verbally - stories that I will discover in the future. That's a contradiction, however, to the concept Julian Jaynes expertly describes in his book. I am extending his concept about what happened to the people of ancient times and adapting to my own personal observations about my own personal experiences and I am suggesting that everyone today is affected by the notion I theorize. Far as I know, Jaynes never tried to suggest that the human species - past and present - have some sort of "back door" vulnerability to foreign influence by extraterrestrial intelligence. And I am not suggesting E.T. is here *now* and is still mind-controlling people to do stuff they would not have done anyway. Rather, I am more inclined to accept the fictional notion established in tangible form under the name James Corey and his "protomolecule". The human species forced into a collective consciousness by an alien race but they created it more than a billion years ago so don't take it personally.

The body of the fourth U.S. Army soldier who disappeared during a training exercise in Lithuania last week was found Tuesday afternoon, military officials announced.
Staff Sgt. Troy S. Knutson-Collins, a 28-year-old native of Battle Creek, Michigan, was formally identified on Wednesday by the Army's 3rd Infantry Division.
Knutson-Collins was the last to be found after the bodies of three other soldiers were found Monday. All four of the lost soldiers were permanently stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
They had disappeared during a training exercise on March 25, when their M88A2 Hercules armored recovery vehicle submerged in a peat bog. The 63-ton armored vehicle was also removed from the peat bog early Monday.
Previously, the Army had identified the dead as: Sgt. Jose Duenez, Jr., 25, of Joliet, Illinois; Sgt. Edvin F. Franco, 25, of Glendale, California; and Pfc. Dante D. Taitano, 21, of Dededo, Guam.
“Although we are relieved to have found all our Dogface Soldiers, it does not make the pain of their loss any less,” Maj. Gen. Christopher Norrie, 3rd Inf. Div. commanding general, said in a statement on Wednesday.

Looks like an interesting book. Judging by all the people trying to look at the book cover as I was walking by them, there must be a great deal of interest in the topic.
I wrote about this a few years ago. I have a memory of standing in the chow line on the Wainwright and reading the bulletin board on the bulkhead. The XO had put up some clipping from, I think, Jane's about a ship our group had sunk. In the article, the ship was described as "French-built." Someone wrote next to that with an ink pen: "American sunk."
