More than two years ago shifted away from time-travel - that topic of popular culture science-fiction - as the explanation for the observations I make.
I am not a scientist.
I don't know how a scientist thinks.
All I know is that certain observations made me sit up and blink and think: why did that just happen?
There are two specific observations I think of as I compose this note:
One is that event I reviewed here again on my blog with my blog-post yesterday about Spokane on 12/17/2008.
I labor to examine my original-work for pattern I recognize and extreme and rare weather events make for good topics for examination
While not rare here in Spokane, winter snowfall is uncommon only in the sense that 44 snowfall days is minor in comparison to the 365 days that exist in one full calendar-year.
Second is a grocery-store receipt from when I was still living in the Seattle suburbs before moving back here to Spokane metro. in year 2013. That first receipt was so clear that it caused me to examine more results
So time-travel and my two rules are still prevalent in my mind. Now I examine these results in a different perspective.
Began with the 2024 streaming-video series "Dark Matter"
Improbable observations got me again and I work from a different perspective.
Presently, I labor to reconcile the improbable using concepts I learned from three sources:
The superposition of Blake Crouch in his 2016 novel "Dark Matter" and its video series
The continua of William Gibson in his 2014 novel "The Peripheral" and its video series
The Netflix streaming-video series "Travelers"
The "Travelers" storyline makes it difficult for me to reconcile that 12/17/2008 and how it relates to my original-work code-pattern I explained again in a blog-post here on my blog yesterday.
Superposition as a literary device by Blake Crouch makes me think of possibilities.
The continua by William Gibson gives me an explanation that factors in "Travelers":
My reality shifted to a universe where that happened. The actual event of 12/17/2008 was not caused to happen. What was caused to happen is that I shifted into a branching-reality universe where it happened.
Somehow a Director in the distant future is causing me to shift into a different branch of reality.

All of this would mean less than nothing if not for that pattern, some better than others, has me convinced regardless it means something about a Grand Truth yet fully and completely discovered by me

The progress of the content on this page will match the cognitive process in my mind as I view the content this morning, content established years ago and that is at this present time to me completely unknown until I begin viewing it soon. Don't know at this moment if anything will even be relevant enough for me to use for illustration of my hypothesis

At the risk of giving away too many personally identifying details, I cannot help but make this following observation. During the 10 AM hour this morning here in Pacific time in Washington State, I was at the grocery store. I had the thought to pick up a bag of Lifesavers candy. I rarely if ever purchase candy but I was thinking about it as I walked to the grocery store and I had thought before, as I was then, about that scene from the 2002 film "Windtalkers." I had no specific reason for purchasing that item in relation to that film "Windtalkers" but I did think about it a great deal among the thousands of details that circulate around in my conscious mind during the day. I would not even note that detail about that Lifesavers candy here in my web log except for one other detail. Somehow, the total bill for the groceries I took to the self-checkout line totaled *precisely* $33.59. That was after tax. I thought about that, especially in the context of observations I have made lately in my web log in the internet, as I left the store and walked back to my apartment and I wondered, as I always wonder about the suspicious behavior of people in that grocery store, if someone in the back office had automatically adjusted the prices on my items so that such a total would be reached. Perhaps. But that becomes less likely the more I think about it. I wasn't consciously calculating a running total of the items I was selecting as I already had decided in my mind before I went in there as to what I would buy. Looking at the receipt, the prices are consistent with what I remember from the shelves where I got the items. I wondered why did that happen today. That happened today and that first time in years and decades since I bought Lifesavers candy.
Of course, according to my time traveler communication theory then that had to happen. I write about it here now in my journal and then it has to happen. Okay, so since everything I record in my journal has to happen then just ten minutes after I post this note, I will get an email telling me where that house is that still belongs to me, which is in this local area, and that I can go there at that very moment if I want to. Since I am now writing this in my journal then that has to happen because that is what I strongly want to happen. A universe time paradox of galactic scale will happen if I do not get that email ten minutes later.
