Accepted the impulse in my conscious mind to view the next episode of "Travelers"
Few days ago read the summary for s2e9. Forgot most of the details. That one guy has his memory updated somehow to give him knowledge of the updated reality they exist in. Their consciousness was transferred from the distant future and into people of the present, people that were known from history to have died. The travelers take over the body of the person that would have died if not for intervention. The process kills the psyche of the person inhabiting the body and they rationalize by the fact of their history that the person was dead already. They had to take over the body before death actually occurs.
Waiting for midnight to arrive and the new calendar-day before I begin viewing that next episode of content I have never viewed before until later tonight when I view it for the first time ever.
I use these stories to illustrate my hypothesis
I have declared before that none of it is meant to be taken literally
And I have no idea which part of that is true because I am only guessing at all this, following the thoughts in my conscious mind and thinking that will lead me somewhere I want to be

But first it's another bizarre observation that just occurred
Every weekday night on the MeTV antenna broadcast channel they re-broadcast episodes of that ancient television series "Perry Mason"
I have seen this episode tonight at least a couple times before tonight
The bizarre part is at the end.
I already knew who the killer was because I've seen it before
(who does the sloppy drunk remind you of?)
What's bizarre about it is that I suddenly remembered a vision in a sleeping-dream a few days ago
I did not record details about that vision so I am not certain of the precise calendar-day it occurred
What I am certain is that I viewed that Perry Mason scene again on this precise calendar-date 10/21/2026 and only then it reminds me of that vision a few days ago
A woman in an outfit of some sort - perhaps a spacesuit - was involved. I had thought over that vision several times wondering about it. Trying to remember her part leading up to the vision that is completely clear still in my mind
Vaguely it seems she was leading out of somewhere. She leads me into a room. It was some sort of building and it was mostly plywood walls and structure. She said something to me about the former occupant of that room. Something about farming because there was an old-style horse-drawn plow in the room. Something about the occupant of the room trying to grow food in there. I considered how the small window would not have allowed in much sunlight. I was thinking afterwards about people starving to death and I was wondering something about seeing the future.
You must view that Perry Mason episode to understand why I make this association. I don't care if you do or not. This is mostly for me, trying to understand.
If there is some THING out there that can communicate directly with my physical brain - as I labor to discover - then its vagueness must be deliberate. Whatever it wants to tell me could be completely clear to my mind if it wanted it to be.
The house was owned in that Perry Mason episode by the character portrayed by this actor:

from Wikipedia: The series is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and follows author Carol Sturka, who is one of only thirteen people in the world immune to the effects of "the Joining", resulting from an extraterrestrial virus that had transformed the world's human population into a peaceful and content hive mind (the "Others"). In the episode, Carol and Zosia spend time together, while Manousos forges on despite his injuries.

Viewed again episode 8 of season 1 of Plur1bus
This is the episode before the season 1 final episode, now listed on IMDb for debut on Wednesday 12/24/2025, so that means it will probably be available during the evening of Tuesday here on the west-coast USA.
First time I viewed episode 8, found humorous the element of Wycaro. Just as humorous second time through. I have drawn here before apt references to Stargate SG-1.
I am wondering if we finally understand Manousos
Noticeably absent to me is explanation for his intense hostility towards The Joined and their ranks of more than 7 billion former-individuals, of which he is one of only 13 humans known to be immune
Carol Sturka is also one of the known immune and she is hostile, also, presumably those are the only two of the 13 immune that are antagonists to the now global peace initiative achieved.
Presumably, she is hostile because she lost someone she cares about when the event occurs. After a few days, tries to enjoy her newfound freedom. Presumably her rejection of freedom is due to love and loss. 60 days have elapsed by the ending of episode 8
Sixty days from the point Carol Sturka sees the large scale effect of what seems to be conspiracy among the effected. They forced their Joining on all unaffected.
My understanding is the process was gradual and then escalated by those initially affected.
So whether Day 0 is their Victory Day over the individual human's or is just the day Carol and the surrounding population were unexposed is not really clear to me.
It seems to be about a 30 day period from the very first infection until Day 0 and we are introduced to Carol Sturka.
It is obvious to her the condition is wide-spread in the nation.
Many could have been pretending so that the unaffected did not know who was or who was not
This all seems a lot more profound to me in this present day than the 2007 "The Invasion" did back then, even as I was seeing coordinated - it seemed - behavior among strangers as I walked along the city sidewalk in downtown Seattle for a cup of coffee.
I look at this all from a standpoint of the very real.
None of my observations are based on any sort of analogy or metaphor or any sort of literary device
BECAUSE of my personal research, my perspective is from standpoint of real effects
Informative.
Literal.

The Cage (Star Trek: The Original Series)
From Wikipedia
"The Cage" is the first pilot episode of the American television series Star Trek. It was completed in early 1965 (with a copyright date of 1964), but not broadcast on television in its complete form until late 1988. The episode was written by Gene Roddenberry and directed by Robert Butler. It was rejected by NBC in February 1965, and the network ordered another pilot episode, which became "Where No Man Has Gone Before". It was first released to the public on VHS in 1986, with a special introduction by Gene Roddenberry.
Much original footage from "The Cage" was later incorporated into the season 1 two-parter episode "The Menagerie".

VINA: They say in the olden days all this was a desert. Blowing sand and cactus.
PIKE: But we're not here, neither of us. We're in a menagerie, a cage!
VINA: No.
PIKE; I can't help either one of us if you won't give me a chance. Now, you told me once they used illusions as a narcotic. They couldn't repair the machines left by their ancestors. Is that why they want us, to build a colony of slaves?
VINA: Stop it. Don't you care what they'll do to us?
PIKE: Back in my cage, it seemed for a couple of minutes that our keeper couldn't read my thoughts. Do emotions like hate, keeping hate in your mind, does that block off our mind from them?
VINA: Yes. They can't read through primitive emotions. But you can't keep it up for long enough. I've tried. They keep at you and at you year after year, tricking and punishing, and they won. They own me. I know you must hate me for that.
PIKE: Oh, no. I don't hate you. I can guess what it was like.

SPOCK: Spock here.
ONE: Landing party, come in.
SPOCK: There is no survivors' encampment, Number One. This is all some sort of trap. We've lost the Captain. Do you read?
[Pike's cage]
(Pike wakes to find himself in a cell with a transparent wall blocking his escape. He tests it's strength, and notices other similar occupied cells. There's a fanged ape, a giant bird and other scary shadows. The three aliens arrive)
PIKE: Can you hear me? My name is Christopher Pike, commander of the space vehicle Enterprise from a stellar group at the other end of this galaxy. Our intentions are peaceful. Can you understand me?
(the aliens communicate with their minds, not voices)
TALOSIAN: It appears, Magistrate, that the intelligence of the specimen is shockingly limited.
MAGISTRATE: This is no surprise since his vessel was baited here so easily with a simulated message. As you can read in its thoughts, it is only now beginning to suspect that the survivors and encampment were a simple illusion we placed in their minds.
PIKE: You're not speaking, yet I can hear you.
MAGISTRATE: You will note the confusion as it reads our thought transmissions.
