Trying to decide if I want to combine all the Twitter posts I've made recently on the subjects of my personal observations about 06/09/2022, 06/10/2022
My hesitancy is based on two facts:
One, is a lot of work
Two, while there might be person or person(s) that find it interesting, for the 8 billion shaved-ape-monkeys infesting this planet, will be a complete waste of time for you all to read here. Because it clearly offers you nothing.
Me, I like the thought of compiling it into one, complete blog-post by me. *Why* I like the notion of explaining the complicated narrative of these recent days, I'm not really sure.
I'm looking at it now and thinking I might turn it into several, distinct posts for 06/11/2022, with this blog-post the ending of my originally intended post.
Three, and goddamn my neck is killing me as usual from sitting here for almost all waking hours staring at this stupid computer screen
These observations have led me to wonder if there was some sort of grand-meaning behind it all
The final, meaningful observation I made on 06/10/2022, was a vivid sleeping-dream
The visualizations weren't especially vivid but what made it seem vivid is because, after all the work I'd made during waking hours of 06/10/2022, I found myself suddenly understanding that I had been dreaming while asleep.
That has happened before but is very rare for me now
Also rare is the person I saw in that sleeping-dream
I saw myself walking around outside. I was wearing a complete outfit of nuclear-biological-chemical warfare gear. I was also seeing photos of myself in that gear. The most important part of that sleeping-dream is that in the final part, I was sitting in a church, on a bench, among rows of benches filled with other people. I was the only person in NBC-gear. Also, I seemed to see a photograph of myself sitting there in that same church and in full gear and I was asleep.
The scene shifted and I was then, while still in full NBC-gear, sitting in a different location on a bench in that same church. To my right-side, distant, on the aisle at the end of the bench, was Britain's Queen Elizabeth. Also very rare for me to see her in a sleeping-dream.
Long ago, I specualated that I see people in disquise in my sleeping-dreams and I have often wondered if the people I'm seeing are metaphors. Another theory is about Star Trek.
I was never a big fan of Star Trek in the 1990s. I followed those 3 series but I didn't like them very much. I like the genre, and unlike now, I always followed those Star Trek series hopeful for entertainment.
In Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the starring character's premise was his "wormhole hallucinations" and he would converse with "wormhole aliens". To him, he saw them as figures he recognized from the real world.
In my sleeping-dream of 06/10/2022, the final, meaningful observation for me of the day, I saw Britain's Queen Elizabeth there at the end of the bench where I sat in that church. She stood to leave and said something to me. I don't know if I knew in the sleeping-dream the words she spoke but I certainly do not now know what she said. Then she handed me a piece of flimsy paper and I folded the page without looking at it and might have pocketed it. Then she might have said to me: "Well, all right then" as is a common type of expression I've heard of before from people as a form of farewell from a social interaction.
Then she walked away, presumably leaving the church, and then I read the content of the page. Also unsure whether I understood the words, where I can visualize still some details about the page, but the words are lost on me after waking.
The sleeping-dream ended and I am still sitting there in that church on a bench among the rows of benches and I am holding that note she gave me. I am fully clad in nuclear-biological-chemical warfare gear and beside me is a very large duffel bag stuffed full of content I'm not sure I was ever aware of during the sleeping-dream.

Also, "Salesman." I saw that in a dream while sleeping recently. I saw myself going through an induction process in the United States Marine Corps and I woke up understanding that I was dreaming of my actual experience in 1990. I saw a document that indicated I was being inducted to the United States Marine Corps with the officer grade of Chief Warrant Officer 2. I saw in the dream another document associated with my induction and that document indicated I had been assigned the informal name "Salesman."

Bronze Tiger to Be Palmer '03 Memorial
A bronze tiger, a memorial to Edgar Palmer '03, will be presented to the Borough of Princeton some time in November by a group of Mr. Palmer's classmates and friends. It will be placed in the grass plot between the roadways leading from Nassau Street into Palmer Square. The tiger is the work of Charles Knight who is considered America's foremost sculptor of animals, and will be on a granite base designed by Thomas Stapleton, architect for Palmer Square. Suitable planting is also being planned. The casting of the tiger in bronze, ordinarily not available in time of war, was made possible by the gifts of friends interested in the idea. Pieces large and small were sent in, hunted out from attics and cellars, which when melted down provided enough metal for the casting. Among the bronzes sent in were some pieces found in the ruins of the Gymnasium after the fire, as well as several pounds of the precious metal left from the casting of the Carillon bells at the Graduate College.

Some things change, and some remain the same. Palmer Square retains the vintage look it had when its construction was completed in 1941, although mature trees and other plantings now obscure much of the view facing Nassau Street. The bronze tiger memorial, which was dedicated in 1944 to developer Edgar Palmer 1903, is visible at the center of the grassy island in this undated photo. Holder Hall is partially visible across Nassau Street, and the spires of Holder Memorial Tower peek over all buildings in the foreground. Though businesses have come and gone in the last 75 years, the Silver Shop still is operating in the location it occupied when Palmer Square’s western section opened in 1937.

Tragic Accident
The tragic accident early Saturday morning on Washington Road was a severe jolt to the Princeton community. Although it is difficult to describe or understand the swift and complex events which led to the death of an undergraduate, the accident brings certain problems into focus.
Without sermonizing on drawing morals, it would still seem that the incident might force a few students to re-examine some of the values which are at the base of the Princeton party weekend. Also in the light of the accident and the always dangerous traffic problem at the Washington Road-Prospect Avenue intersection, some concrete action should be taken to prevent future tragedies. The Interclub Committee should seriously consider the hiring of a policeman to regulate traffic at the intersection on every major weekend. The installation of a traffic light at this corner, which has often been requested, should also be re-investigated. It is possible that none of these improvements would have prevented Saturday's accident, but the presence of a uniformed patrolman or a traffic light would have lessened the chances of such a tragic event.

Welcome Charlies
Last year, two new isms saw their first light of day on the Princeton campus. Though unheralded and for the most part unheeded by the nation's press these two isms became as much a source of concern to the Princeton undergraduates as McCarthyism or Communism was to the general public.
It all started when someone said that Princeton was becoming unhealthily infected with Charleyism - that undergraduates were allowing their traditional enjoyment of life in all its aspects to interfere with their pursuit of higher learning. Charlies by the score rallied to the attack and said that higher learning was no good if it wasn't compatible with the enjoyment of life. Those dull grinds who had no fun in college were victims of Creeping Asceticism, the Charlies claimed, and should be taught to either live it up or go elsewhere to college. But still the controversy goes on.
To you - the Class '57 - the Daily Princetonian wishes you every possible success throughout your Princeton career. We welcome you as Tigers and hope that you will be Charlies too, and take advantage of every opportunity to have a good time while you are here. Your work will mean a lot more if you do.

NEXT DAY. Nicholas is walking through the grounds of the university, jotting in his notebook. He looks around and stops near a car parked at the roadside. With a California license plate, its registration is 46YYR9P. He jots another note to himself. A man hurries out of the nearby building and trots towards him
JACKSON: Professor Rush?
(Nicholas continues writing.)
JACKSON: Professor Rush!
(Nicholas finally looks up as Daniel comes closer and offers him his hand.)
JACKSON: Hi. I'm, uh, I'm Doctor Daniel Jackson.
RUSH (shaking his hand): So you are.
JACKSON: I'm sorry to accost you here. I dropped by your office and they told me that you hadn't come in for the day.
RUSH: D'you know, I really don't have time for this.
JACKSON: Actually, I think you're gonna wanna hear what I have to say. Is there some place more private we can talk?
RUSH: You're gonna tell me about the Stargate programme.
(As Daniel stares at him in surprise, Nicholas starts walking and Daniel has no choice but to follow him.)
RUSH: Your current dilemma: how to unlock the Stargate's ninth and final chevron ... specifically how much energy will be required.
JACKSON: How do you know that? Those details are highly classified.
RUSH: The project hasn't even been named yet, has it? How about ... Icarus?
(Daniel stops. Nicholas turns back to him.)
RUSH: I know because it's already happened, and you're just a figment of my imagination.
(He looks at their surroundings for a moment.)
RUSH: Re-living all of this is just a necessary evil; an unfortunate side effect of a process I can't control. (He raises his voice angrily.) And it keeps getting in the bloody way of what I need to do.
(He waves his notebook at Daniel.)
RUSH: You, the university, the clouds in the sky - all just a dream, a distant memory ...
(He grimaces ruefully.)
RUSH: ... and one I'd really rather went away.
(He turns and walks away.)
In the Chair Room on Destiny, Doctor Rush is seated in the Chair. His eyes are closed, his hands and feet are clamped and the headpiece of the Chair has flipped over the top and, on either side, two of the three prongs in the side clamps are touching the side of his head. However, unlike when Franklin was in the Chair, they are not deeply embedded into the skin, and Rush is quiet and unmoving. Everett Young and Eli Wallace come into the room.
YOUNG: What the hell's going on?
(Adam Brody, standing at the console behind the Chair, looks at him nervously.)
Later, T.J. Johansen has arrived and is checking Rush's vital signs.
JOHANSEN: His pulse is strong. B.P.'s elevated but not dramatically.
(Young is pacing around behind Brody.)
BRODY: He didn't wanna involve anyone else.
YOUNG: I am in command of this ship, and that means you don't do anything without involving me. Do you understand?
(Eli is looking at a device at the side of the Chair, and the laptop attached to it.)
WALLACE: What is all this?
BRODY: We've modified the interface. We're hoping it will allow us to use the Chair without causing damage to the subject ...
YOUNG (pointedly): And?
BRODY: Rush is the first subject.
YOUNG: Let's wake him up.
BRODY: I can't. Severing the connection externally could be very dangerous. He has to do it himself.
(Young looks at T.J. who shrugs.)
BRODY: Look, with or without me, Rush still would have done it.
JOHANSEN: Even after what happened to Franklin?
BRODY: This is the only way to unlock control of this ship. The code has to be in the data bank somewhere.
STUDENT (indignantly): There's symbols up there I've never even seen before!
RUSH: Yes you have! Yes you have, because I have, and you are all me!
(The students look round at each other nervously.)
SECOND STUDENT: What's he talking about?
JACKSON: It's not their fault.
(Nicholas sighs as the last of the students exits the room.)
RUSH: Yeah, I know.
(He sits down in one of the seats as Daniel comes to join him. They both look at the blackboard.)
RUSH: I'm the one who can't solve it, despite the fact it's right in front of me.

Dr. Rush relives his past life by sitting in the alien chair in an attempt to download critical data. A university professor, his wife's cancer returns and he is recruited by Dr. Daniel Jackson for what will be called the Icarus project. He's avoiding dealing with his wife's situation and throws himself into his work. In his dream-like state, he's trying to make sense of all the information he is accumulating. Back on the ship, the Destiny comes out of hyperspace and some of the crew investigate the planet below. They find an ancient archaeological site but are trapped when part of the site caves in. Digging them out is a slow process and the next jump is quickly approaching.

Academic Dismissals
Four more undergraduates have been dismissed from the university for failing to meet academic standards, Dean Godolphin announced yesterday. The total for the year is thus brought to 27, compared to 31 students dismissed last year.
