I am not certain how long I was asleep before just now waking up. Just before waking up, I was dreaming that I was standing at the front of a long line of people that were waiting for something to happen at the Smithsonian Institute. The activity was Apollo program related. In one way, I seemed to be studying the faces of people as I saw them in newspaper photographs but in another way which is more consistent with details in the dream, I was actually standing there and in retrospect after waking up from the dream, I seemed to have traveled back in time from some point around the current time. I note that I must have traveled back from this current time because I still did not have full conscious awareness of my true identity. So I was standing there and there were a lot of people inside the building I was standing in front of because I could see them through the windows and there were a lot of people in front of me towards the outside of the building
but I cannot visualize hardly any detail in the direction I think of towards the outside. I seemed to be standing in an area that was outside the building but there was an extended overhang with pillars and I cannot visualize what was beyond the pillars except I knew there were a lot of people out there. At one point, President Reagan suddenly appeared in front of me among the people milling about and he had a concerned look on his face and he spoke to another person because walking off to my right and in the direction of all the people lined up behind me. I could not hear anything he said but I spoke "Hello, Mr. President," but he must not have heard me. Something other person did speak to me later on but I do not fully remember all the details or recognize the person except as someone that was waiting there for the activity as I was. Shortly after I saw President Reagan, thoughts were occurring to me that the timeframe was 1983 and the Beirut bombing
of the U.S. Marine barracks had not yet occurred. I might have been thinking about whether I would tell President Reagan about that attack if I had spoken to him and if he had recognized me and I was thinking I probably would have told him what I knew about it. There were several other observations I made in the dream but I do not understand as important any of it. I don't remember anything else.

retain the preset stations when the battery dies so I have to reprogram it everytime I fall asleep with it on and the battery dies.
A few nights ago, I dreamed of being out on a two-lane highway. The pavement was nice and smooth and new-looking, perfect for long-distance bicycling. But in this dream, I was jogging, or maybe walking fast, I'm not sure. It was some kind of competition perhaps. I think the central element of the story was that I was ahead of something or somebody. The only other person I saw was my deceased step-brother. I was moving along the highway and had just climbed up a steep portion of the road that was a switchback section going up a hill. I was at some kind of plateau that then went along under the ridge of the hill. It looked sort of familar, with the uniform tree height telling me that it had probably been logged at one time. My step-brother was acting normal in this dream, as if he was still alive. But he was trying to catch up with me, I guess. I didn't feel like he was chasing me, but yet that seems to be an element of the story. At one point, he was
talking to himself and I could hear him and he mentioned a name but I can't remember now what he said. In the last part, he was approaching a fire on the shoulder of the road that apparently I had started, some kind of camp fire. I recall that there was another person there, but I can't visualize that person, it is more of a presence. Not so much an apparition or anything like that, just an unidentified person. I remember thinking during the last part of the dream as I looked at the fire, which was still in sight, that I could use it to stay warm because I was feeling cold.
Last night or maybe the night before, I had another dream about running. I was on a paved path, but the scenery isn't familar. After awaking, I remember thinking that it felt familar, similar to a section of path outside this homeless shelter, but the scenery isn't the same. There was again a presence in this dream, a presence that represents an unidentified person. In this case, the person was forcing or maybe motivating me to run as hard as I could along the path. I don't know why. Thinking back to that one scene in my mind now, it seems like this was all happening, there was some dialogue occurring, but I couldn't hear any of it. Also, it seemed that there was still more path to travel, but this unknown person decided to let me stop running and I started walking. A convience store was up ahead and I got the suggestion to get some Gatoraide, which I was looking forward to.
Today I have been thinking again about that dream I had right before I left Microsoft. It was the dream about seeing two cloud towers from what seemed to be nuclear explosions. I think about this in terms of a foreign dream. Someone may have suggested something to my sleeping mind about "truman." I may have interpreted it as Harry Truman, who authorized the release of the two atomic bombs in WW2. It was later, when I was in the VA I think, when I started thinking about that movie "Truman." I had never seen it before. I wonder if that was the purpose of the suggestion, to make me think of that movie.

§ 2388. Activities affecting armed forces during war
(a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully makes or conveys false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies; or Whoever, when the United States is at war, willfully causes or attempts to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or willfully obstructs the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to the injury of the service or the United States, or attempts to do so— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
(b) If two or more persons conspire to violate subsection (a) of this section and one or more such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be punished as provided in said subsection (a).
(c) Whoever harbors or conceals any person who he knows, or has reasonable grounds to believe or suspect, has committed, or is about to commit, an offense under this section, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
(d) This section shall apply within the admiralty and maritime jurisdiction of the United States, and on the high seas, as well as within the United States.

Shoe bomb suspect to remain in custody

BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) -- A man accused of walking aboard an American Airlines flight over the weekend with explosives in his shoes and trying to light them calmly entered a U.S. District courtroom Monday morning to face charges related to the incident.
Richard C. Reid, 28, has been charged with interfering with the performance of the duties of flight crew members by assault or intimidation, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Boston.
Flight attendants and passengers wrestled and subdued Reid aboard American Airlines Fight 63 from Paris, France, to Miami, Florida, after he lit a match in an attempt to ignite his shoes, according to court documents. The plane was diverted to Boston's Logan International Airport, where it landed safely.
If convicted, Reid faces up to 20 years in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. He is being held at a correctional facility in Plymouth, south of Boston.
At Monday's brief hearing, Reid was read his rights but did not enter a plea because he does not have an attorney yet.
U.S. Magistrate Judith Dein approved a request by U.S. attorneys for Reid to remain in custody until the pending trial because of the dangerousness of the situation and his risk of flight.
Government sources said that Reid, who identified himself as a convert to Islam, has a British mother and a Jamaican father. New Scotland Yard and French authorities said he is a British citizen.
U.S. law enforcement authorities have found no connection between the man and any terrorist groups, sources said.
A French Ministry of Interior spokesman said Reid had adopted the name of Abdel Raheem after converting to Islam.
Though the man's passport identified him as Richard Colvin Reid, a French Border Police spokesman said the FBI identified him as Tariq Raja, born August 12, 1973

However, their war against Capone did cause a great deal of damage to his organization, and they had built up a formidable case against Capone involving various violations of the Volsted Act (Prohibiton), which were held in abeyance in the event that Capone managed to beat the tax evasion charges. Mr. Maffei, who was born on May 24, 1960, is expected to become President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company
Before joining 360networks, Mr. Maffei spent seven years with Microsoft Corporation, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Mr. Maffei was responsible for financial, corporate development and investment activities, including the oversight of Microsoft's $35 billion cash and strategic investment portfolio. During Mr. Maffei's CFO tenure Microsoft's market capitalization increased from $125 to $575 billion. Mr. Maffei also orchestrated the successful IPO split-off of Expedia from Microsoft and served as the Chairman of Expedia from 1999 to 2002.

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who—
(1) with intent to usurp or override lawful military authority, refuses, in concert with any other person, to obey orders or otherwise do his duty or creates any violence or disturbance is guilty of mutiny;
(2) with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of lawful civil authority, creates, in concert with any other person, revolt, violence, or other disturbance against that authority is guilty of sedition;
(3) fails to do his utmost to prevent and suppress a mutiny or sedition being committed in his presence, or fails to take all reasonable means to inform his superior commissioned officer or commanding officer of a mutiny or sedition which he knows or has reason to believe is taking place, is guilty of a failure to suppress or report a mutiny or sedition.
(b) A person who is found guilty of attempted mutiny, mutiny, sedition, or failure to suppress or report a mutiny or sedition shall be punished by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.

Laryngeal prominence
The laryngeal prominence—commonly known as the Adam's Apple—is a feature of the human neck. This lump, or protrusion, is formed by the angle of the thyroid cartilage surrounding the larynx.
The laryngeal prominence is usually more prominent in adult men than in women or prepubescent children. The growth of the larynx itself during puberty is responsible for the vocal instability in teenage boys. The laryngeal prominence is merely the protrusion one sees of the thyroid cartilage making up the body of the larynx. The laryngeal prominence is usually more prominent in adult males because the thyroid cartilage elongates during puberty, protruding out the front of the neck more noticeably. The result is that the two laminae (thin cartilage) of the thyroid cartilage that form the protrusion meet at an average angle of 90° in males, and 120° in females, so there is less cartilage protruding out in females.

Surgery
Cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of a laryngeal prominence is called chondrolaryngoplasty (thyroid chondroplasty). This surgery may change the patient's voice and cause permanent damage, as well as leave a visible scar. Chondrolaryngoplasty may be performed in many types of gender reassignment surgery.
