My half-baked review of local weather patterns got me looking at comparisons of this winter season with the winter weather of 2018-2019
And today we are starting to get indications from the experts that the pattern shift has started
Will it result in the same pattern of 2018-2019?
I certainly do not know
Back in February 2019, the National Weather Service in Spokane measured 30 inches of snowfall, and that made up about half of the total snowfall for that season. The graph year-to-date looks similar.
We are very well below average - extremely below average - so far this year with only about 13 inches measured by those guys at the airport KGEG. I can look out my window and still see snowfall on the ground and roofs near my apartment but it's been there for weeks and is patchy.
Less than 2 days out and the experts still profess uncertainty
Less than 2 days from now, the first storm that seems to signal a pattern-shift is due to arrive here in Spokane
The guy on tv informs us he does not really know yet how it will turn out
And *I* think I understand why the uncertainty
Basically, it follows the track of the low-pressure system that will cause our weather, less than two days from now
Standing outside in your lawn with a garden-hose, if the low-pressure weather system is the nozzle then it doesn't flow out onto every spot of your lawn at the same time. The water finds a path of least-resistance to flow out and away from where you stand with the nozzle
The experts do not know the precise track of that low-pressure system over Washington State
Therefore, they cannot accurately predict the actual weather that happens less than 2 days from now, on Friday 01/31/2025
For this note, I now have an Event Date variable of 01/31/2025
This is part of my Theory of Weather Cannot Be Part of Conspiracy
I look at large-scale weather events and examine the precise calendar-day of the event and look for a repeating pattern that I have identified
WHY there would even be a repeating-pattern on something that *seems* to be completely random, I might not ever figure out
The results are completely a subjective interpretation by me and I think that's what makes it so interesting.
Other people could possibly get the same results from their own subjective interpretation but most likely is they would get completely different results
Somehow, I suspect this is the intention (which assumes intelligence): whatever it is I am destined to discovered, it is beyond anything the scientific experts know anything about.
And since I am not superstitious, I am not so gullible as those Jesus-bunkers of the superstition Jesus Christ mythology or any other of those ridiculous religions, with those clergy peddling their bunk to you cowards so cowardly terrified of mortality, duped into thinking you have an Imaginary Friend RIDICULOUSLY! "up there" in the clouds.

The next weather system provides possible snow Friday morning before warmer temps lead to rain later in the day.
It's the first time the region has seen wet weather in a few weeks with wet weather expected starting Friday morning.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Today's weather is still more of the same, cold mornings, sunny days, high temps in the mid 30s. But we're one day closer to major weather pattern changes for the Inland Northwest.
A massive storm over the Pacific Ocean will be the force to move the entire weather pattern across the Northwest in the next 48 hours. The initial push on Friday morning will result in a rain/snow split for the Inland Northwest before changing to rain by Friday afternoon with high temperatures rising to around 40 degrees. Spokane County will differ based on elevation, higher elevations likely getting morning snow whereas lower elevations will likely stick with rain all day.
We're called for a KREM 2 Weather Impact Alert Day as a result of the potential snowfall and overall major weather pattern change. This will be the first time in 3 weeks that Spokane has seen any rain or snow.
That storm is just the first in what is going to be a far more active weather pattern for the Inland Northwest in the days to come. The weekend will feature rain/snow/mix chances for Saturday morning. Sunday into Monday there is a greater snow potential (stay tuned for more details on that...) and all of next week will be much colder with high temperatures already forecasted in the 20s.

As though the Julian Jaynes bicameral gods are telling me - non-verbally - stories that I will discover in the future. That's a contradiction, however, to the concept Julian Jaynes expertly describes in his book. I am extending his concept about what happened to the people of ancient times and adapting to my own personal observations about my own personal experiences and I am suggesting that everyone today is affected by the notion I theorize. Far as I know, Jaynes never tried to suggest that the human species - past and present - have some sort of "back door" vulnerability to foreign influence by extraterrestrial intelligence. And I am not suggesting E.T. is here *now* and is still mind-controlling people to do stuff they would not have done anyway. Rather, I am more inclined to accept the fictional notion established in tangible form under the name James Corey and his "protomolecule". The human species forced into a collective consciousness by an alien race but they created it more than a billion years ago so don't take it personally.

A few minutes ago I started thinking that maybe I started at Princeton University in 1972. I would have been 13 at the time as Thomas Ray. I remember that Kerry Burgess started first grade in 1972. But then I decided that I probably started Princeton earlier than 1972 and maybe 1972 was the year I completed my first major degree. Or 1972 doesn t really mean anything in particular to Thomas Ray; rather it is there for continuity sake for the life of Kerry Burgess.

Also, "Salesman." I saw that in a dream while sleeping recently. I saw myself going through an induction process in the United States Marine Corps and I woke up understanding that I was dreaming of my actual experience in 1990. I saw a document that indicated I was being inducted to the United States Marine Corps with the officer grade of Chief Warrant Officer 2. I saw in the dream another document associated with my induction and that document indicated I had been assigned the informal name "Salesman."
