I had a very lucid dream just before I woke up that I was trying to catch a airline flight to some place. I might have been trying to go home but I cannot remember any details from the dream, other than what I describe that suggest I was going home. Even the one detail that does suggest that I was going home does not really have the kind of emotional attachment to it that I would describe as suggestive of going home. The dream started off with something about a group of Native Americans that I cannot remember enough detail about to articulate, other than I seemed to walk through of group of Native Americans that were walking some place. There are some other details that I also cannot fully articulate but that I can visualize somewhat and it seems I was out fishing in a lake with some relatives and I caught a fish and it seemed to the only one we had caught. Then I heard someone that I could see say to who ever was listening that we should not eat the fish out of that lake. It did not look very appetizing anyway and seemed to have bruises on it after it had been cleaned. The I was walking some where and that is when I seemed to be trying to catch the airline flight. There are some other details between there that I cannot remember now. I remember that I was carrying some luggage and also several items from the dry cleaners that I had just picked up. One of the items was slipping out the bundle because I did not have the hanger in my hand along with the others. Then I remember from the dream that I walked by Ron Howard as he was walking by me and he seemed to say to someone that I had not seen him or that I had not recognized him. Then I was still walking along through the city, which is vaguely familiar but I am not certain, and I was thinking to myself that I was going to miss the flight because I was running out of time. Then the thought occurred to me that it would not matter if I missed the flight because, due to the arrangements that had already been made, they would put me onto the next flight. This is now the second time the thought has occurred to me as I write this that I am beginning to forget important details from that dream I had just before I woke up in the past hour or so. Then I was in the airport and I was checking in but I am confused about the person who was checking my ticket. I cannot remember enough detail to say for certain but I might have walked behind the counter of a Starbucks and a woman there was checking me in for the flight. She looked at my ID and there is now something I have forgotten but she was saying something about my ID matches my military pension that was published in the paper and she was using a newspaper that I had brought along as the source and I was thinking that I was glad I had brought along a copy of that newspaper. I am not certain why details about me were printed on that newspaper. There was also some detail available to my mind at this point in the dream, and I do not know the source, where I can almost visualize the association with the Jupiter moon Callisto. But I cannot visualize the source of that phrase. I have to guess that the boarding desk had a sigh with something about the Jupiter moon Callisto as though that was the destination of the flight or it was the location I was departing. I think it was the location I was departing because I also have some vague sense of the date 11/28/1976 and I think that detail represents that I was departing the Jupiter moon Callisto for my flight back to Earth. I do not remember any other detail after that in the dream.

After watching this episode when it premiered, I assume the plot element about "Starbuck's" brand new "Viper" is relevant to my personal activities in 1981. I assume it means that the F-16 Falcon I was flying in 1981, but that was shot down by anti-aircraft fire, where it crashed into a river after I ejected, was found a while back. I assume further that experts could tell the F-16 Falcon was probably a model from 1981 because the mechanical parts they examined suggested the aircraft could not have been there as a result of air combat in 1981 because all the F-16's flying in 1991 would have exhibited a greater deal of mechanical wear than did the F-16 Falcon that was found in the river. Furthermore, I assume the tail number on the aircraft found in the river matched the tail number of the F-16 Falcon I flew in 1981.

"He That Believeth in Me" is the second episode in the fourth season, (as the two-hour movie special "Razor" was made first and also as a (double-episode) part of the fourth season), of the science fiction television series Battlestar Galactica. It aired on April 4th, 2008.
After Starbuck lands in Galactica's hangar, she is bewildered when everyone looks suspiciously at her. She claims to have been gone for only six hours, but the crew believes her to have been dead for two months. Her Viper's tail number matches the one she was flying when Apollo saw her explode, but the craft itself appears to be brand new. While her gun camera has recorded images that appear to match the descriptions of Earth given in the Scroll of Pythia, the craft's navigational computer is blank with no records of her route back to the fleet.

I have been thinking that the plot element about her "Viper" craft being brand-new is about the discovery of my F-16 Falcon from 1981 at the bottom of a river in Iraq. The F-16 would have been damaged from the enemy fire that brought it down after I ejected from it, but other than the impact damage, it would have been much different from any F-16's that might have been shot down during the 1991 Gulf War. The reason is that my F-16 from 1981 was practically brand new while any F-16's in 1991 would have wear-and-tear visible to the experienced eye.
I tend to equate the "Viper" from "Battlestar Galactica," in the context of the original series, with the F-14 Tomcat but as I have noted before, Viper is the code name for the F-15 Falcon. I have been thinking that I created that named for the "Viper" from the original because I was the original designer of the F-16 Falcon, or at least one of the major contributors. I had some kind of major contribution to the design of the F-16 Falcon, including working as the test pilot.

Samuel T. Anders (callsign "Longshot") is a fictional character from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica television series, played by Michael Trucco. He first appeared as a recurring character in the second season episode Resistance, but assumed a pivotal role in the series by the end.
Early life
Although not revealed until the final season of the show, Anders is approximately two thousand years old and was born as a member of the ill fated thirteenth tribe, a group consisting entirely of Cylons who left Kobol and settled on the first Earth. Along with fellow Cylons Saul Tigh, Ellen Tigh, Galen Tyrol and Tory Foster, Anders worked as part of a research group on resurrection technology. They were warned about a coming disaster by people no one else could see. The messenger that appeared to Anders looked like a woman. When their Earth was destroyed, the five were resurrected on a ship in orbit and travelled to the Twelve Colonies, arriving at the time of the First Cylon War, presenting the Cylon forces with a deal; if the warring Centurions called off the war, the five would teach them to create humanoid Cylon models and give them the resurrection technology.
The Centurions agreed and departed from Colonial space along with Anders and his cohorts, but their efforts ultimately backfired. The first humanoid Cylon created, John Cavil, also known simply as Number One, was incensed that he had been created with so many human weaknesses and turned on his creators. He killed them, arranging it that they would be resurrected with no memory of who they really were and carefully inserted them into Colonial society with false memories to give them a background.

During the mutiny led by Felix Gaeta and Tom Zarek, Anders is badly beaten and thrown into the brig with the other prisoners loyal to Admiral Adama. They are eventually freed by Thrace and Lee Adama. Anders is shot in the head during their escape, and a tearful Kara Thrace refuses to leave his side. Romo Lampkin, encountering them in the corridor, helps Kara take her husband to Dr. Cottle.
In the episode No Exit, Anders experiences a reawakening of his Cylon memories due to the brain damage caused by his head wound. He frantically attempts to educate his fellow 'Final Five' crewmembers regarding their purpose and destiny, but eventually succumbs to his wounds. The bullet is removed from Anders' brain, but he is left comatose. At the end of the following episode, Deadlock, Anders begins to show brain activity. In Someone to Watch Over Me, it is shown that Anders' brain activity is very unusual but not indicative of conscious thought. A Number Eight suggests linking him to the datastream aboard the Baseship might help.
Acting on the Eight's idea the Cylons immerse him in a Hybrid pool much like those on Cylon baseships and connect him to the datastream. Once connected, he begins mimicking the mannerisms of the baseship Hybrids, down to the incoherent (to casual observers) but prophetic ramblings.

The 1979 Anthrax Leak in Sverdlovsk
On April 2, 1979, there was an unusual anthrax outbreak which affected 94 people and killed at least 64 of them in the Soviet city of Sverdlovsk (now called Ekaterinburg), roughly 850 miles east of Moscow. The first victim died after four days; the last one died six weeks later.
The Soviet government claimed the deaths were caused by intestinal anthrax from tainted meat, a story some influential American scientists found believable. However, officials in the Carter administration suspected the outbreak was caused by an accidental release of anthrax spores from a suspected Soviet biological weapons facility located in the city. The US believed that the Soviet Union was violating the Biological Weapons Convention signed in 1972 and made their suspicions public. But the Soviets denied any activities relating to biological weapons and at numerous international conferences tried to prove their contaminated meat story.
It wasn't until thirteen years later - 1992- that President Boris Yeltsin admitted, without going into details, that the anthrax outbreak was the result of military activity at the facility. During those thirteen years, while an intense debate raged within the international scientific and intelligence communities on whether the Russians were telling the truth, the Soviet Union continued its offensive biological warfare program unabated.
Around the time Yeltsin admitted the military facility was responsible for the incident, Russia allowed a team of Western scientists to go to Sverdlovsk to investigate the outbreak. The team visited Sverdlovsk in June 1992 and August 1993 and included Professor Matt Meselson.
Although the KGB had confiscated hospital and other records after the incident, the Western scientists were able to track where all the victims had been at the time of the anthrax release. Their results showed that on the day of the incident all the victims were clustered along a straight line downwind from the military facility. Livestock in the same area also died of anthrax. After completing their investigation, the team concluded the outbreak was caused by a release of an aerosol of anthrax pathogen at the military facility.

My eye still looks like it has been bleeding. I must have caught something in here or over at Starbucks. I actually felt sort of hungover yesterday evening after feeling jittery much of the day.

Slept for a few hours yesterday evening and woke up feeling as though I had a sunburn on my insides. Woke up this morning and noticed something wrong with my right eye. It looks as though a blood vessel burst and looks much worse than simply having bloodshot eyes.
