Hugh and Lisa leave the airport in a car belonging to the Otto Cab Co. (established 2003).
Lisa: [to cab driver] Hey, I remember you! Mayor Quimby, right?
Quimby: I, uh, er, uh, uh, no. Look at this licence: Mohammed Jafar.
Otto: [on screen] Quimby, after this fare, get your indicted ass out to the convention center.
Quimby: [to himself] I cut the ribbon at that convention center.

May 13, 1992, Record-Setting Spacewalk on Shuttle Endeavour's First Mission
On May 13, 1992, following the successful capture of the Intelsat VI satellite, three astronauts continue moving the 4.5 ton communications satellite into the space shuttle Endeavour's cargo bay. A fellow crew member recorded this 70mm still frame from inside Endeavour's cabin. Left to right, astronauts Richard J. Hieb, Thomas D. Akers and Pierre J. Thuot, cooperate on the effort to attach a specially designed grapple bar underneath the satellite. Thuot stands on the end of the Remote Manipulator System's (RMS) arm while Hieb and Akers are on Portable Foot Restraints (PFR) affixed to Endeavour's portside and the Multipurpose Support Structure (MPESS), respectively. The sections of Earth which form the backdrop for the scene are blanketed with thousands of square miles of clouds.
The Intelsat satellite, stranded in an unusable orbit since its launch aboard a Titan vehicle in March 1990, was equipped with a new perigee kick motor. The satellite was subsequently released into orbit and the new motor fired to put the spacecraft into a geosynchronous orbit for operational use. The capture required three spacewalks: a planned one by astronaut Pierre J. Thuot and Richard J. Hieb who were unable to attach a capture bar to the satellite from a position on the RMS; a second unscheduled but identical attempt the following day; and finally an unscheduled but successful hand capture by Pierre J. Thuot and fellow crewmen Richard J. Hieb and Thomas D. Akers as Commander Daniel C. Brandenstein delicately maneuvered the orbiter to within a few feet of the 4.5 ton communications satellite.
The STS-49 mission, the first flight of shuttle Endeavour, set records for the first (and only, to date) spacewalk involving three astronauts; first shuttle mission to feature four spacewalks; first shuttle mission requiring three rendezvous with an orbiting spacecraft; first attachment of a live rocket motor to an orbiting satellite and first use of a drag chute during a shuttle landing.

Something keeps tugging at me about "screendoors" but I can't quite grasp it yet.
So they blanked my memory.....I started trying to build my life effectivly over again, finding a woman I loved and could go home to every day, and the kind of work that I thought would have a global impact on improving peace.
Ah, one night, Randy Cole and I, and another guy named Eddie I think, were running through a neighbors backyard. One of our friends had a trampoline and we would go over and jump on it sometimes. This particular night we were going through that yard and we heard a screen door slam. Eddy and Randy ran one way, I ran the other way. As it turned out, I ran the wrong way. This huge dude hopped down off some kind of embankment wall brandishing a big knife and asking why I was in their yard.

Errant Satellite Twists Out of Shuttle's Grasp

HOUSTON — What had been a flawless maiden voyage for space shuttle Endeavour ran into serious trouble Sunday as astronauts attempting to snag a stranded $150-million communications satellite sent it spinning out of control.
"We've got to get away from this thing," Endeavour commander Daniel C. Brandenstein, 49, said

[Bridge]
CHIEF: Captain, Doctor McCoy has beamed himself down to the planet.
SPOCK: And the transporter at that time, Captain, was focused on the centre of the time disturbance.
KIRK: So whatever's down there, McCoy is in the heart of it. Set up a landing party. Let's go get him. Kirk out.
[Planet surface]
(The landing party is Kirk, Spock, Scott, Uhura and two security guards. Among remains of fluted columns and fragments of Greek-style buildings is an irregular dough-nut shaped object with lights in it.)
KIRK: These ruins extend to the horizon. Begin recording.
UHURA: Recording, sir.
SPOCK: And of considerable age. On the order of ten thousand centuries old.
KIRK: Detail, fan out. What is this thing, Mister Spock? It seems to be pulsating with power of some kind. Analysis, please.
SPOCK: Unbelievable, Captain.
KIRK: That's funny.
SPOCK: This single object is the source of all the time displacement.
KIRK: Explain.
SPOCK: I can't. For this to do what it does is impossible by any science I understand. It is operating even now. Putting out waves and waves of time displacement, which we picked up millions of miles away.
UHURA: Landing party to Enterprise. No sign of Doctor McCoy. Search progressing.
(And he pops up from behind a rock after she and her security guard have passed by.)
SPOCK: Incredible power. It can't be a machine as we understand mechanics.
KIRK: Then what is it?
GUARDIAN: (The doughnut pulses bright in time with the words) A question. Since before your sun burned hot in space and before your race was born, I have awaited a question.
KIRK: What are you?
GUARDIAN: I am the Guardian of Forever.
KIRK: Are you machine or being?
GUARDIAN: I am both and neither. I am my own beginning, my own ending.
SPOCK: I see no reason for answers to be couched in riddles.
GUARDIAN: I answer as simply as your level of understanding makes possible.
SPOCK: A time portal, Captain. A gateway to other times and dimensions, if I'm correct.
GUARDIAN: As correct as possible for you. Your science knowledge is obviously primitive.
SPOCK: Really.
KIRK: Annoyed, Spock?
GUARDIAN: Behold. A gateway to your own past, if you wish.

I think it was my first thought after waking up this morning that I used to date Julia Roberts a long time ago.
I also have these unexplained thoughts that I was a fighter pilot in the U.S. military, although I'm not sure which service, but I may have been in two different branches over time. I am also confused about thoughts that I may have been a helicopter pilot. What's next? A space shuttle pilot? Seems like a lot for someone that is only 40. And, while I am not sure when this divergence happened, I am reasonably certain it was before I turned 33. So I must have been a pretty busy guy. Especially because I have thoughts that I was some kind of mathmetician too. I have these thoughts too that I was captured by enemy forces at some point and tortured while in captivity.

KIRK: Security alert.
Captain's log, supplemental entry. Two drops of cordrazine can save a man's life. A hundred times that amount has just accidentally been pumped into Doctor McCoy's body. In a strange, wild frenzy, he has fled the ship's Bridge. All connecting decks have been placed on alert. We have no way of knowing if the madness is permanent or temporary, or in what direction it will drive McCoy.

Spokane Convention Center
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Spokane Convention Center is the primary convention center in Spokane, Washington, in the northwest United States, and consists of two interconnected buildings along the south bank of the Spokane River in downtown Spokane. The facility, owned and operated by the Spokane Public Facilities District, is part of a larger campus, historically referred to as Spokane Center, that also contains the adjacent First Interstate Center for the Arts.
History
Original use as Washington State Pavilion during Expo `74
Designed by the Spokane-based architecture firm, Walker, McGough, Foltz & Lyerla, the original part of the convention center was constructed from 1972-1974 as a part of a single auditorium-convention center building that would serve as the Washington State Pavilion for Spokane's Expo '74. The 117,000-square-foot (10,900 m2) pavilion consisted of two components: a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2) exhibit hall on the east side of the building and a 2,700-seat opera house on the west side. These programmatic elements were strategically located in this fashion to allow for future expansion of the exhibit hall onto vacant land to the east and north of pavilion once it became a convention center.
