Thanks Bobby, I appreciate the info. I'm living in downtown Seattle right now. Things have been pretty crazy for the past couple years. I'm still trying to work out a few things but hopefully everything will work out soon. I have wanted to keep in touch with Mom, but I really didn't want to get any of you involved. I think it has settled down enough I can start trying to get back to my normal life, but I'm not completely sure yet. Long story short, I think I was supposed to be a witness in a trial or I am supposed to be a witness in a trial, but something went wrong. Or maybe it went right, I just don't know. It has been going on for almost 10 years and I am exhausted and hoping it will end soon. I'll talk in more detail with you next time I can make it out there to visit.
I am speechless about Kayli. I don't know about this Great Uncle stuff either. I wish the best for her though and I hope to visit with you all soon.

Paused now about the 00:04:40 point of the DVD, where I know from reading earlier the transcript that the helicopter I see on the screen is going to come under fire from the “Atlantis” weapon THING, I know for certain I have never watched before the severe racketeering production the 2004 television series “Stargate: Atlantis.”
This morning I am now for the first time watching the DVD for the premiere episode of the television series “Stargate: Atlantis.” The images I have seen before, as I write this before beginning to watch the episode, suggest I was aware of the television series at some point when it was actively advertised in mainstream media and that I was not interested in watching that television series because it looked too stupid.

Bruno Pontecorvo, (born August 22, 1913, Marina di Pisa, Italy—died September 25, 1993, Dubna, Russia), Italian-born nuclear physicist who defected to the Soviet Union after having done atomic research in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom from 1943 to 1950.
One of eight children born to a Jewish textile merchant, Pontecorvo received a doctorate from the University of Rome, where in the early 1930s he worked with Enrico Fermi in experiments on bombarding atomic nuclei with slow neutrons. After Fascist leader Benito Mussolini’s government passed a series of race laws, Pontecorvo fled to Paris and conducted research at the laboratory of Frédéric Joliot-Curie. When Paris was invaded by the Germans in 1940, he made his way to the United States, where he experimented in neutron well-logging, a method of analyzing rock formations penetrated during oil drilling through the use of a neutron emitter. In 1943 Pontecorvo joined the Anglo-Canadian nuclear research team at Chalk River, Ontario. There he worked on the design of the world’s first nuclear reactor using heavy water as a neutron moderator. In 1948 he became a British citizen, and the following year he joined the Atomic Energy Authority research station at Harwell, Berkshire, England, where classified research was being conducted.
While on holiday in Italy in 1950, Pontecorvo, his wife, and their three children abruptly left for Stockholm. They then went to Helsinki and were not heard from until 1955, when Pontecorvo appeared at a press conference in Moscow to promote the peaceful use of nuclear power. His disappearance had followed revelations that some highly placed scientists (including Klaus Fuchs, one of Pontecorvo’s colleagues at Harwell) had given secrets to the Soviet Union, raising fears about how seriously those scientists had endangered the West. Pontecorvo was stripped of his British passport, but he denied ever having worked on nuclear weapons research. He worked for the remainder of his life in the Soviet Union, mainly at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, outside Moscow, where he made important contributions to neutrino research. In particular, he and physicist Vladimir Gribov were among the first (1969) to suggest that neutrinos generated by nuclear reactions in the core of the Sun “oscillate,” or change types, before reaching Earth.
Pontecorvo received numerous awards from the Soviet state, including the Lenin Prize (1963) and the Order of Lenin (1983), and he also taught particle physics at Moscow State University. After his death the JINR founded the annual Bruno Pontecorvo Prize to honour work done in particle physics.

He developed the mathematical statistics required to clarify a large class of subatomic phenomena, explored nuclear transformations caused by neutrons, and directed the first controlled chain reaction involving nuclear fission. He was awarded the 1938 Nobel Prize for Physics, and the Enrico Fermi Award of the U.S. Department of Energy is given in his honour. Fermilab, the National Accelerator Laboratory, in Illinois, is named for him, as is fermium, element number 100.
Early life and education
Fermi’s father, Alberto Fermi, was a chief inspector of the government railways; his mother was Ida de Gattis, a schoolteacher. In 1918 Enrico Fermi won a scholarship to the University of Pisa’s distinguished Scuola Normale Superiore, where his knowledge of recent physics benefited even the professors. After receiving a doctorate in 1922, Fermi used fellowships from the Italian Ministry of Public Instruction and the Rockefeller Foundation to study in Germany under Max Born, at the University of Göttingen, and in the Netherlands under Paul Ehrenfest, at the State University of Leiden.
European career
Fermi returned home to Italy in 1924 to a position as a lecturer in mathematical physics at the University of Florence. His early research was in general relativity, statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics. Examples of gas degeneracy (appearance of unexpected phenomena) had been known, and some cases were explained by Bose-Einstein statistics, which describes the behaviour of subatomic particles known as bosons. Between 1926 and 1927, Fermi and the English physicist P.A.M. Dirac independently developed new statistics, now known as Fermi-Dirac statistics, to handle the subatomic particles that obey the Pauli exclusion principle; these particles, which include electrons, protons, neutrons (not yet discovered), and other particles with half-integer spin, are now known as fermions. This was a contribution of exceptional importance to atomic and nuclear physics, particularly in this period when quantum mechanics was first being applied.
This seminal work brought Fermi an invitation in 1926 to become a full professor at the University of Rome. Shortly after Fermi took up his new position in 1927, Franco Rasetti, a friend from Pisa and another superb experimentalist, joined Fermi in Rome, and they began to gather a group of talented students about them. These included Emilio Segrè, Ettore Majorana, Edoardo Amaldi, and Bruno Pontecorvo, all of whom had distinguished careers.

Three helicopters back, in the trail Apache dubbed Rigor Mortis, Lieutenant Colonel Dick Cody knew better. He had clearly seen the first burst of fire from below, followed by a missile streaking just abeam of the line of aircraft. "Jeez, Brian," Cody called to his co-pilot, "did you see that?" The gunfire had come either from nervous Saudis or, more likely, an Iraqi commando patrol aiming at the rotor noise. After the brief retaliatory burst from the Pave Low, the shooting stopped. The helicopters pressed on at 120 knots.
Cody was not by nature a reflective man. Commander of the 101st Airborne Division's attack helicopter battalion, he was a creature of action and instinct, an aggressive pilot with fifteen years' flying experience. But he had occasionally wondered in the past four months whether he had oversold himself for this operation.

I saw myself going through an induction process in the United States Marine Corps and I woke up understanding that I was dreaming of my actual experience in 1990. I saw a document that indicated I was being inducted to the United States Marine Corps with the officer grade of Chief Warrant Officer 2. I saw in the dream another document associated with my induction and that document indicated I had been assigned the informal name "Salesman."

There has got to be a way to disconnect these false "memories" and reconnect my real memories into my consciousness.
What about that conflicted memory of being on Stampede Pass that day? How could I remember that? I had no vehicle that could have got me up there back in those days. I never drove my Jeep Wrangler up there. That has got to mean something. If I could just see it.

And when I remember it, I'll know where to go. They're waiting for me now, but I have to consciously remember. I think they send people to walk around me that I should recognize but that I still do not consciously recognize.

Monday 27 June 1994
The map indicates that if I had traveled in the other direction on that dirt road where I materialized out of thin air then I would have walked past Lizard Lake, only a short distance from the point the map indicates is the summit of Stampede Pass.
I cannot visualize ever seeing that lake but there is a road junction there that is always familiar to me and I think I was standing there looking around and what I could never figure out is how I got up there in the first place.

Stampede Pass
I must have been lying in bed for over four hours last night and could not fall asleep for that much time and longer because I started thinking during the night last night that Stampede Pass is where I materialized after the L-1011 Stargazer spiraled down from over forty thousand feet after breaking into pieces and then crashed with such force that it virtually vaporized on contact with that ground. I started thinking of how that scene with "Picard" and his wife announcing that dinner was ready could be a detail I created to represent the details I read about the source of the name for Stampede Pass, as well as how "Kirk" mentions that he smell something burning in the kitchen. I thought over many details last night as I hoped to fall asleep and I was thinking of how the dialog with the statue in the 1996 film "Star Trek: First Contact" is about how after I understood that my aircraft was unflyable because, for one reason, a wing had just broken off due to impact with debris from the Pegasus rocket that had just exploded in front of my windshield, I was turned around part ways in my seat as the pilot and I had my had outreached to shake the hand of Kerry Burgess and I spoke that flying with had been an honor but the aircraft was spinning too fast for us to shake hands. When I materialized at Stampede Pass I felt as though I had materialized about one inch or two above the ground and I found myself standing there in the woods on that dirt road with absolutely no idea where I was and I was standing there with my hand still reaching out to shake his hand.

The new arrivals have been taken to a small holding cell. A Kino is floating above their heads and Young, Eli and Camille Wray are watching the live footage from Eli's room. The comms are open so that the two groups can talk to each other.
YOUNG: So that's the last thing you remember: going to sleep in the shuttle.
CAINE: And that it was cold. It was winter. We were using it as a shelter. I remember closing my eyes, and then we were delivered here by a greater power.
YOUNG: The aliens who created the planet, you mean.
CAINE: Or by providence.
WRAY: Are you suggesting that God did this?
CAINE: Is that you, Camille?
WRAY: Yes.
CAINE: It's nice to hear your voice. Uh, well, of course there's no way of knowing His will, but I do know that I prayed every night before I went to sleep that He would keep us safe.
WALLACE: So ... magic, then.
CAINE: You have to admit that our arrival here is nothing less than miraculous, Eli.
(Eli, who has been looking increasingly uncomfortable as the conversation has progressed, now shuts off the comms and talks over his shoulder to Young.)
WALLACE: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Arthur C. Clarke.
YOUNG: "Turn the mic back on." Winston Churchill.
WALLACE (frowning): Really?
(Young gestures towards the screen, where Peter is shouting at the Kino. Eli turns the sound back on.)
PETER: ... are you gonna keep us here?
VAL: We haven't done anything.
YOUNG: Try to be patient. You'll be released once you've all undergone a physical examination one at a time.
CAINE: But we're perfectly fine.
YOUNG: Well, forgive me if I don't take your word for that. The more answers we have, the less precautions we'll have to take.
(He switches the comms off, and looks at Eli.)
YOUNG: Let's keep an eye on 'em.
(Eli nods, and Young leaves the room.)

(Caine can't take his cynicism any longer.)
CAINE: I'll leave you to your work.
(He turns and heads towards the rear of the shuttle. Nicholas hesitates for a moment, then calls after him.)
RUSH: Let me ask you ...
(Caine stops and turns back.)
RUSH: The shuttle was restored to its original condition by the aliens who sent you here - better than it was before, even.
CAINE: Well, that sounds to me more like the work of God than aliens.
RUSH: Well, if this shuttle has been restored so perfectly, then why weren't all of you?
(Caine frowns.)
RUSH: I mean, Norris wasn't born with astigmatism, was he? Mr. Chan surely had a full head of hair at one time. All of you have enormous gaps in your memory.
CAINE: What's your point?
RUSH: Well, either He's lost His touch, or God's got nothing to do with this.
