"In two parts. The first is purely political, to work against the United States. The second part, immediately before the war begins, is from KGB. You know it from KGB Group Nord. We reviewed it two years ago.
Rozhkov grunted. Group Nord was an ad hoc committee of KGB department chiefs, first assembled by then-chief of the KGB Yuri Andropov on the mid-1970s. Its purpose was to research means of splitting the NATO alliance, and in general to conduct political and psychological operations aimed at undermining Western will. Its specific plan to shake the NATO military and political structure in preparation for a shooting war was Nord's proudest example of legerdemain. But would it work? The two senior officers shared an ironic look. Like most professional soldiers, they distrusted spies and all their plans.

telling me about the time we made 6 trips to Six Flags that one summer?
Is that about the Moon? I was thinking it had something to do with Vietnam, but I think it is actually about me making all 6 lunar landings with Apollo.
I was also serving in Vietnam in between those Apollo flights, while also doing something at Princeton University. I might have been teaching classes there too at Princeton.

§ 1962. Prohibited activities
(a) It shall be unlawful for any person who has received any income derived, directly or indirectly, from a pattern of racketeering activity or through collection of an unlawful debt in which such person has participated as a principal within the meaning of section 2, title 18, United States Code, to use or invest, directly or indirectly, any part of such income, or the proceeds of such income, in acquisition of any interest in, or the establishment or operation of, any enterprise which is engaged in, or the activities of which affect, interstate or foreign commerce.

§ 1963. Criminal penalties
Whoever violates any provision of section 1962 of this chapter shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years (or for life if the violation is based on a racketeering activity for which the maximum penalty includes life imprisonment), or both, and shall forfeit to the United States, irrespective of any provision of State law—
(1) any interest the person has acquired or maintained in violation of section 1962;
(2) any—
(A) interest in;
(B) security of;
(C) claim against; or
(D) property or contractual right of any kind affording a source of influence over;
any enterprise which the person has established, operated, controlled, conducted, or participated in the conduct of, in violation of section 1962; and
(3) any property constituting, or derived from, any proceeds which the person obtained, directly or indirectly, from racketeering activity or unlawful debt collection in violation of section 1962.

Hope faded Thursday of finding 11 missing offshore workers alive as the sun set on a second day of searching and the massive drilling rig that exploded into flames late Tuesday night sank into the Gulf of Mexico.
With the fire doused and the rig submerged, the Coast Guard launched a sweeping effort to clean up petroleum spewed into the water and seal off a well at the sea floor that may have still been leaking oil.
As it did, investigations began and questions continued to swirl about the cause of the accident at the Deepwater Horizon, a half-billion-dollar rig owned and operated by Swiss-based Transocean that was under lease to BP.

There the imposter conks Mr. Howell on the head with a coconut, changes clothes with him, and attempts to continue his masquerade as the millionaire.

Nidal Malik "AbduWali" Hasan (born September 8, 1970), a U.S. Army Major
suspect in the November 5, 2009, Fort Hood shooting, which occurred less than a month before he would have deployed to Afghanistan.
A Muslim born in Virginia to parents who had emigrated from Jordan and moved to the U.S. from a Palestinian town near Jerusalem, Hasan joined in the Army while in college and became a psychiatrist at the Fort Hood base in Texas. Prior to the shooting, he had expressed extremist views which had been brought to the attention of his superiors and the FBI.
Hasan was monitored by intelligence exchanging e-mails asking for spiritual guidance regarding violence with Imam Anwar al-Awlaki. Awlaki has since been linked to other attacks by radicalized Muslims
