He's about 80-years-old and is desperate to believe someone hyping his "legacy", desperate to think that *someday* people will look back - momento mori - and praise their Dear Leader, despite the massive, global chaos he has created.
Personally, I think most of the drama I observe from the mainstream-media is just melodrama. They just want something to bitch about and he's an easy source for it. Most of them have no real substance for their complaining.
