The latest new episode of "The Simpsons" premiered Sunday, 04/13/2025
Only this morning did I remember to watch it
"All those hairstyles" was similar comment lamented by Whitney Ward on local live-tv news yesterday, Tuesday, at 4 PM
We suddenly learned Tuesday during the 5 AM broadcast that Tuesday 04/15/2025 was her final day working at that local CBS tv-news station
None of this really matters. If you watched both - The Simpsons episode and her tv dialog at 4 PM yesterday - then you might also recognize something is going on there
WHAT DOES MATTER - because you must watch both to gain insight into a simple concept - is that I worked for a few hours on a note about her final day AND THEN hours later, lost interest in making a post about her specifically. That happened yesterday. Only today did I watch for the first time that newest The Simpsons episode, which drives the purpose of this note
So then I watch this morning more of that The Simpsons episode and I see a concept delivered that I had rejected yesterday when I worked on the Event Date variable 04/15/2025 of my original-work code-pattern
This part needs some explaining. As I took jabs at the code-pattern, looking for a logical pattern, I encountered the 1994 tv-series "Ellen". I ignored it and looked for other details. I assumed that was the beginning of that talk-show she had on tv that I have never watched. The 1994 tv-series is actually a situation-comedy, that I don't know anything about, other than what I read today about it. Looking at it closer today, there was an episode broadcast on 03/29/1994 that is the so-called pilot episode. The regular tv-series series begins the next day, 03/30/1994. This all makes rational sense if you watch The Simpsons and that newest episode from last Sunday.
