Now is time for another installment of Why Are They Doing That Up There On My TV Screen?
First of all, I feel certain none of them caused any of what I report here note in this note by me
There are patterns I have observed over many years of viewing local tv news and this now is another instance.
Many installments I have made about several people and this is another installment about their newest person to read the tv-news script
Recently, I was amused by comments they broadcast on tv
They have had a tremendous amount of turnover in their hires and there seems to often be a new person. Changes every two years to 4 years it seems to me. I note certain specific dates. Not tracking the frequency of turnovers
So there is one gal who has been there for a very long time. She must be the only person still there from when I first began viewing Channel 2 KREM CBS when I moved back to Spokane metro in year 2013.
So recently, this newest gal was on the screen with that oldest gal and that "Sounds Good, Jeremy" guy and there was banter about some sort of podcast or something they were recording.
That oldest gal often tries to make self-effacing comments that are tired and lame.
The new gal retorted "We could never improve on you"
What made it humorous was the progress of her spoken words
Made me think that was someone who was thinking "Why am I reading this on the teleprompter". There was a converse explanation as well.
Today, the new gal began the broadcast and I would think to myself she was showing off her figure in that stylish dress just before the weather-gal fills the screen
"I see you" the old gal says, presumably to the weather-gal
So that made me do some thinking.
'Why' any person lurking in the shadows would cause something like this is baffling.
The result of my investigation of information freely available on the internet reveals her old stomping grounds.
I have never actually viewed that 2004 movie referenced here but the title reveals the plot, presumably.

Then at the end of the broadcast tonight they are saying "Happy Birthday, Sydnee" so that adds more that story. I have found other evidence because of that and THEY know that
THEY want me to think that June 1st is her birthday. I don't know the year so I don't have any interesting details to discover about that complete stranger up there on my tv-screen.
It must make sense to whoever is causing this work for me

Then I found it.

And that just makes it even more weird because of the image composition.

Supreme Court Denies Clinton Protection From Paula Jones Suit -- But Trial Judge Could Still Delay Case Out Of `High Respect' For Office

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ruled today that Paula Jones can pursue her sex-harassment lawsuit against President Clinton while he is in office - but left room for a trial judge to delay proceedings if they interfere with the president's duties.
The Constitution does not shield the president from having to face lawsuits over acts unrelated to his official duties, the justices ruled unanimously in a case that already has been a major embarrassment to the president.
Jones' lawyers exulted over the ruling, and a friend of Jones said the former Arkansas state employee "just screamed and yelled and cried" with delight. The lawyers said an apology and admission from Clinton might still head off a trial.
Jones, who has been living in Los Angeles for about three years with her husband, was described by a friend as jubilant. "The two of us just screamed and yelled and cried," said Susan Carpenter-McMillan of San Marino, Calif.
Jones' lawyers, Gilbert Davis and Joseph Cammarata, called the ruling a resounding victory. It shows that "she was willing to stand up against privilege, power and position to redeem her reputation," Davis said.
