Looking back at my electric bills, I see the rate not that long ago of $0.08355
For my present bill this month the rate is: $0.12105
Twelve divided by eight = 1.5
An increase of 50%
Their documents indicate that by year 2029 their basic rate will be $0.14898
14.898 divided by 8.355 equals 1.78
A 78% increase over the span of a few short years.
It was already too high as it was.
I don't know where they get that "average of $33 per month increase" is coming from because I think most people will experience a much greater increase.
The rate for City of Spokane has almost doubled over the span of about 5 years according to their documents
That is for only the first 800 kWhs
800 times $0.14898 equals over $119
Then there's the flat-fee they charge just for using their utility service. Then there's the City of Spokane tax of over 6% just for using electricity utility.
I viewed a video a couple years ago on the Avista website about how to save money on your bill.
Seems to me almost like sarcasm from them
I tried it and it made no difference.
In the video I remember viewing, they present an old fat woman with disgusting jumbo butt.
Seems like sarcasm because taping plastic to the windows doesn't help my power bill and it is supposed to represent that you are cold because you are so disgustingly fat.
Get some exercise and you would not feel cold.
Meanwhile, those Avista fat-cats laugh all the way to the bank.

She had asked me as we sat there at the table a question about what I did in my spare time. That was my response.

When I was sitting there in that bar in our office in historic Bellevue, Washington, in 1999, I told her I drove around in my blue Mazda RX-7 and solved crimes. Suzanne Morgan then looked across the table at Thomas Dawkins and asked him "What did he say?" and Thomas repeated what I had said. Later that evening, from my apartment at Oakwood, I wrote an email to Suzanne and commented that all the cigarette smoke in that bar had caused my face to turn red.
