Thinking again overnight one detail became clearer in my mind about the year 1990.
My official records from the United States National Archives, they sent to me three years ago, documents when my separation leave began.
I wrote about how I couldn't recall the precise date I first started work at a civilian job in Greenville South Carolina.
A document from the United States Social Security Administration I received back in the year 2006 got me thinking about that. That document lists the civilian employers I had in the past and which included from the year 1990 up to Microsoft Corporation beginning December 1998.
So the detail that became clearer in my mind last night is consistent with my closer examination of the calendar of the year 1990.
The day 01 April 1990 was a Sunday.
So that must be the day I wrote about traveling with Jim Shea out to Seneca South Carolina for the very first service call of the contract my employer (according to my federal documents) had just taken over to service computer equipment for First Federal Savings and Loan in South Carolina.
That is consistent for two reasons.
One is because I remember a training period before the service contract began.
The other is because I recall the urgency needing me to be available to work with Jim Shea in the Greenville office.
The second point is reinforced by the facts I remember associated with meeting with Dan Benbow.
I found out I could interview for employment but I was needed there in Greenville as soon as possible. At the time I was still waiting in a temporary duty barracks as my honorable discharge from the United States Navy was being processed.
I can still recall going to the office and asking another Petty Officer who worked in the office if I could take the day off so I could go to Greenville for the employment interview. He said I could not take off and so I asked if I could use a leave day for that and that is what happened. I either recall now or I recall now that I once wrote that I traveled to Greenville for the Thursday interview with Dan Benbow, which the calendar says is 22 March 1990.
So since my separation leave began on Saturday then Friday must have been my last day and that must be the day I recall driving the rental car from Charleston South Carolina to Greenville.
I had to do that because my employer had an employee from Texas in town to train us (very lightly) on the equipment and I would have needed to be there on Monday. The following Sunday was the 1st of April.

I have documented often that the calendar date 3/24/1990 is listed in my official United States Navy documents as the day I began Separation Leave for my US Navy enlistment and subsequent Honorable Discharge.
I documented that the calendar date 3/26/1990 must have been the first day of my civilian employment with Ketterman's in Greenville South Carolina.
That was the job where I worked as a computer technician.
I had a sleeping dream with the past day or couple days associated with my activities in that employment.
That job was a computer maintenance contract for First Federal Savings and Loan based in Greenville.
The most challenging work was keeping the bank's automatic teller machines operating.

I had an odd dream, last night I think, that I associate with that programmed roll the space shuttle stack makes just after lift off.
In the dream, though, I had jumped off a bridge and the water was a very long ways down. I was absolutely certain I would survive the fall though and I was thinking to myself that I needed to take a large gulp of air just before I hit the surface because I was going to go far below the surface. But I was also preparing myself to pull my legs up to my chest after I went under the surface so that I would not go as far below the surface than if my body remained in a shape similar to an arrow. There was also something about someone waterskiing nearby behind a jet ski. It seemed that water skiier said something to me but I don't know how that was possible because he was so far off.

I had a dream similar to this one just before I woke up earlier. I can still visualize both of them and the only real similarity was that I found myself falling off a bridge towards the water below and that part about the roll, which reminds me of the space shuttle launching.
In the dream earlier, I seemed to have started by climbing onto a bridge, which I don't recognize, that later began to disintegrate for some reason that was not apparent in the dream. There are other details before that scene that I do not now remember. Then I was falling feet first to the water and I noted how green was the water. I had a tremendous amount of time to think as I was very high above the water and I was timing my breathing so that I would take a large breath just before I hit the water, in hopes of making it back up to the surface. I was also thinking of how I was going to pull my legs up to my chest after I went below the surface in hopes of slowing my descent through the water and so that I could return faster to the surface. I was also thinking of how I would point my feet down to the water so that the impact would not break my feet and ankles. In the dream I saw myself just about to impact the water surface and I can visualize to some extent the details about the water surface, which meant I was very close to it. I might also remember that scene because I was dreading hitting the water. The next part I remember is that I found myself on the bottom of the river and there was a lot of sediment around me and then I was trying to swim back up to the surface. I found myself thinking that the exertion of trying to swim was causing me to use more oxygen and I was not certain I was going to make it. I had no idea how far below the surface I was but I have been thinking since I woke up that I was probably more than 100 feet below the surface. I could see light above me, and it had been bright daylight when I was falling from the bridge, but the water around me was still dark as I was looking up towards the lighter section of water.

Mostar - The war in Bosnia and Hercegovina (BiH) caused much pain and destruction. Many people lost family, friends, and homes and some cities became divided. One of the best known of these is Mostar, the largest city in Hercegovina with 109,000 inhabitants. In 1522 Mostar became the headquarters of the Ottoman administration of Hercegovina. Many military missions against Venetian cities were launched from the city, which came under Austrian control from 1878-1918, and then became part of Yugoslavia. Today it is a part of BiH.
According to a pre-war consensus, Mostar's population consisted of 20 % Bosnian-Serbs, 40 % Bosniacs and 40 % Bosnian-Croats. There are practically no longer any Bosnian-Serbs in the city, they are living in the mountains south and east of the city. Bosniacs, make up 55 % of the city's inhabitants live east of the river. Bosnian-Croats make up the remaining 45 %, and live on the west side of the Neretva.
Mostar has a story to tell. It is the story of the Old Bridge, an elegant single span arch built over the river Neretva by the Ottoman Turks. Mostar is an old city, established in the 15th century when a small settlement began to form around an old Roman wooden bridge over the Neretva river, but the name Mostar comes from the old white limestone bridge Stari Most (most means bridge, and stari means old - hence Mostar) which was finished in 1566 after nine years construction for the Ottoman emperor Sultan Sleiman the Magnificent. On November 9, 1993, during bitter civil war in the city, the bridge was shelled by a Bosnian Croat tank from Mt. Hum. One of its last roles had been to allow Muslim defenders of the "left bank" cross the river and take supplies to their supporters and the population that had remained there. It withstood many centuries, but it could not survive this concentrated effort to demolish it. After several direct hits, this magnificent piece of history crashed into the waters below.

In 2014, Musk and Ghislaine Maxwell appeared together in a photograph taken at an Academy Awards after-party, which Musk later described as a "photobomb". The January 2026 Epstein files contain emails between Musk and Epstein from 2012 to 2013, after Epstein's first conviction.
Emails released on January 30, 2026, indicated that Epstein invited Musk to visit his private island on multiple occasions. The correspondence showed that while Epstein repeatedly encouraged Musk to attend, Musk did not visit the island. In one instance, Musk discussed the possibility of attending a party with his then-wife Talulah Riley and asked which day would be the "wildest party"; according to the emails, the visit did not take place after Epstein later cancelled the plans.
On Christmas day in 2012, Musk emailed Epstein asking "Do you have any parties planned? I've been working to the edge of sanity this year and so, once my kids head home after Christmas, I really want to hit the party scene in St Barts or elsewhere and let loose. The invitation is much appreciated, but a peaceful island experience is the opposite of what I'm looking for". Epstein replied that the "ratio on my island" might make Musk's wife uncomfortable to which Musk responded, "Ratio is not a problem for Talulah".
On September 11, 2013, Epstein sent an email asking Musk if he had any plans for coming to New York for the opening of the United Nations General Assembly, saying that many "interesting people" would be coming to Epstein's house. Musk responded that "Flying to NY to see UN diplomats do nothing would be an unwise use of time". Epstein responded by stating "Do you think i am retarded. Just kidding, there is no one over 25 and all very cute."
Musk has denied any close relationship with Epstein and described him as a "creep" who attempted to ingratiate himself with influential people. When Musk was asked in 2019 if he introduced Epstein to Mark Zuckerberg, Musk responded: "I don't recall introducing Epstein to anyone, as I don't know the guy well enough to do so." The released emails nonetheless showed cordial exchanges on a range of topics, including Musk's inquiry about parties on the island. The correspondence also indicated that Musk suggested hosting Epstein at SpaceX, while Epstein separately discussed plans to tour SpaceX and bring "the girls", though there is no evidence that such a visit occurred. Musk has described the release of the files a "distraction", later accusing the second Trump administration of suppressing them to protect powerful individuals, including Trump himself.

Last May, SpaceX filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission key documentation that signaled an initial public offering (IPO) of stock.
