In the parlance of those A.I. Fanboys (probably), GFS is going berserk.

So there are a couple points I am looking at here.

GFS is the computer-software model by the USA National Weather Service.

I have never seen it associated with that ridiculous A.I.-hype but it's just a matter of time before some monkeys hype it as "artificial intelligence" when it is in fact simply computer-software created by people same as the past 50 years and more.

It's just computer software created by people. There's nothing magical about it. Don't be such a gullible A.I. Fanboy.

I am looking at this today because of work I have done in the past.

This particular area covers the geographic location of that house I once owned in South Carolina. I really loved that place at the time, don't care anymore for that particular place.

What strikes me about this illustration is the magnitude of the prediction.

Flipping through the images, I discovered the day when it reaches the peak and that day is 01/31/2026.

Anyone - with access - could have caused that result

It is based on variables that are used for math equations

Change the variable, change the outcome.

That's my guess about what is happening there.

I have looked at that particular condition several times in the past few days, because it is seeing so much mainstream-media coverage - and because, having grown through childhood and into my 30s in that region, I cannot help but still think about it

Identification (literature)

From Wikipedia

Identification refers to the automatic, subconscious psychological process in which an individual becomes like or closely associates themselves with another person by adopting one or more of the others' perceived personality traits, physical attributes, or some other aspect of their identity. The concept of identification was founded by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud in the 1920’s, and has since been expanded on and applied in psychology, social studies, media studies, and literary and film criticism. In literature, identification most often refers to the audience identifying with a fictional character, however it can also be employed as a narrative device whereby one character identifies with another character within the text itself.
