The Improbable.
Stared at the screen for a while. Could not resist the impulse to make the purchase
Did not want to do it.
The price was very affordable and I have wanted for a while a second tv-screen and so I made the purchase of a very low cost tv-screen with built-in tuner for antenna broadcast television.
It was delivered today.
So, as is the practice, whenever that happens to me, I start looking around at my original-work for pattern I recognize.
I think there I am (not an artificial-intelligence).
Here's an important point:
This pattern in my original-work does not represent the date of my completely random choice to make a purchase I really did not want to spend money for
No, I made a random choice and it was on a calendar-day that made it possible for me to receive the delivery on this calendar-day today
When I made the purchase, moments later I was given a delivery estimate
The estimate spanned 01/26/2026 to 01/28/2026
The delivery happened today.
There was other stuff I was going to include with this note and that I have now decided to not include for the sake of brevity.
I do not know of one specific individual that reads my blog-posts here on my blog.
I can guess but I do not know for certain. I really don't care. This blog is all I have. I must continue this blog.

Following publication of President Dodds' speech at the official opening of the University's 193rd academic year last Sunday, the Columbia Press Service interviewed prominent politicians and personalities in Washington for comments on the educator's references to World War II. Washington, D. C, Sept. 18— William E. Borah (R., Idaho), dean of the United States Senate and outstanding foe in Congress of American participation in Europe conflicts, today commended the warning of President Dodds against alien propaganda. "I agree absolutely," asserted Senator Borah. "We must be on our guard constantly against misleading propaganda from foreign sources." He added that the only exception he might take to President Dodds' statement was with respect to the Princeton educator's reference to "the techniques of propaganda—common in Europe but in their infancy here." The senator thought propaganda in America was far from being in its infancy and was, in fact, very mature and sophisticated.
Hattie Caraway Comments.
America's only woman Senator, Hattie Caraway (D., Ark.), declared herself emphatically in accord with President Dodds. "None of us can have any doubt that there is great danger from cunning foreign propaganda," she said, "and we must be careful not to be influenced by it. I am for repeal of the arms embargo but I am also in favor of resisting schemes to get us mixed up in the intrigues of other nations." Mrs. Caraway said she was strongly impressed with President Dodds' warning.

Leoben: Oh, I can feel more than you could ever conceive of, Adama. But I won't die. When this body dies, my consciousness will be transferred to another one. And when that happens, (he collapses to the ground with a groan) I think I'll tell the others exactly where you are, and I think that they'll come, and they'll kill all of you. And I'll be here watching it happen.
Adama: You know what I think? I think if you could have transferred out of here, you woulda done it long before now. I think the storm's radiation really clogged up your connection. You're not going anywhere. You're stuck in that body.
Leoben: Doesn't matter. Sooner or later, (he smiles) the day comes when you can't hide from the things you've done.
