Before I awoke just now, I dreamed that I was inside a house that must belong to me and that I have not been to in a long time and that seems to have been vacant all this time. I do not remember any specific details about the house I was in but a central element of the dream was that I was sitting inside a large walk-in safe and I do know from the dream that the safe belonged to me. I cannot remember all the details surrounding my presence in that safe but I do remember thinking something about how I must have transfered all the contents of that safe to some other location. The reasons for transfering the contents of the safe to another location seemed obvious to me in the dream and seemed to be associated with my current state of mind, in that I was protecting information that is important to me. But then the thought occurred to me, perhaps by that mysterious and unseen narrator I used to puzzle over before I understood

I can't remember now all the details of the dream earlier as I was sleeping but it seemed to be that I was in Clarence House. I can remember very clearly walking around in that house and it seemed as though there was a narrator at times but the details I was hearing escape my conscious awareness. I want to say that I was alone for the time I was in there and that I was staying there but yet I can vaguely remember seeing people around. I was aware of details of Charles, William, and Henry but I know specifically they were not there at the time. There was also something about a pair of dogs outside and the woman who controlled them but much of those details are vague. I was also pondering over the other houses nearby but associated details about that escape me as well. I was looking around a lot through the house and I can remember details fairly well but none of it seemed familiar so I don't know if those are actual memories that represent I have actually
been in Clarence House. There also seemed to be some kind of point to the dream but that detail escapes me.

This reminds me of a very clear dream I awoke from somewhere between 3:40 AM and 3:45 AM a while back. I remember the dream clearly and there was a lot of detail to it but this part stands out because I had just slammed down the hood of that red 1967 Ford pickup and I was running into the house nearby that I do not recognize from any past experience. After I slammed the hood of the pickup, I realized that I was still holding the oil dipstick and so I left it there and ran into the house because the rain was about to start. I remember getting to the door and the rain started just as I was opening the door. It was some kind of rain and snow mix but that isn't quite it. It was snow that was falling as rain and I could hear it hitting the ground. Or hitting the asphalt. I am not certain why but there seemed to be asphalt in front of that house and I could hear the rain-snow-slush hitting the asphalt just as I entered the house.

I pondered over that dream for a while because I wondered about that broken telephone. I wondered why the broken electrical leads were so clear to me in that dream. I cannot remember what happened to the telephone but it was an old style, or so it seemed because of details I cannot remember, although I am not certain it was a rotary dial, but I remember something about how I was talking on it to someone named Tom and I think it fell off the wall or perhaps a table and it broke into several pieces. I was looking down at it on the floor and I noted the two electrical leads that were exposed and I wondered why I noted that in the dream. The phone still seemed to work though and I could hear the other person talking but I don't think the conversation was of any real consequence.
At some point, I looked outside the window of the house and along with other observations during what seemed to be the end of the dream, I saw green grass on a small rise of the ground of the yard.

I wrote of how I saw a very bright flash on the wall of my apartment through the window which was followed by another very bright light. I looked through the window and I could see a small hill directly outside my window that had green grass on it but in the distance was the skyline of Seattle and it was completely ablaze.

CAPE CANAVERAL, FLA. - NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander, a robotic geologist, roared into space on Saturday, kicking off a 10-month journey to the Red Planet's unexplored north pole.
Phoenix is the centerpiece of a $420 million mission that will attempt the first landing in the Martian arctic.
The probe's robotic arm was designed to dig for water frozen underground and search for signs of chemical activity linked to microbial life.
Evidence of vast amounts of underground ice was uncovered at both poles of the planet by NASA's orbiting Mars Odyssey spacecraft five years ago.
If confirmed by Phoenix, the findings would raise the prospect that cold, desertlike conditions on Mars might once have been warmer and favorable for some form of life. Water would prove a valuable resource for future human exploration as well, according to Peter Smith, the University of Arizona researcher who serves as the mission's chief scientist.
"We are now on our way to do great things on Mars," said Smith.
Saturday's predawn launch atop a Delta II rocket initiated a 423-million-mile journey that will end with a risky landing next year on May 25.

Problems with a relay radio on a satellite orbiting Mars interrupted commands from Earth to the NASA's newly arrived Phoenix lander on Tuesday, delaying plans to flex the spacecraft's robot arm for the first time.

2113. Bank robbery and incidental crimes
(a) Whoever, by force and violence, or by intimidation, takes, or attempts to take, from the person or presence of another, or obtains or attempts to obtain by extortion any property or money or any other thing of value belonging to, or in the care, custody, control, management, or possession of, any bank, credit union, or any savings and loan association; or
Whoever enters or attempts to enter any bank, credit union, or any savings and loan association, or any building used in whole or in part as a bank, credit union, or as a savings and loan association, with intent to commit in such bank, credit union, or in such savings and loan association, or building, or part thereof, so used, any felony affecting such bank, credit union, or such savings and loan association and in violation of any statute of the United States, or any larceny—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
(d) Whoever, in committing, or in attempting to commit, any offense defined in subsections (a) and (b) of this section, assaults any person, or puts in jeopardy the life of any person by the use of a dangerous weapon or device, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty-five years, or both.
(e) Whoever, in committing any offense defined in this section, or in avoiding or attempting to avoid apprehension for the commission of such offense, or in freeing himself or attempting to free himself from arrest or confinement for such offense, kills any person, or forces any person to accompany him without the consent of such person, shall be imprisoned not less than ten years, or if death results shall be punished by death or life imprisonment.

§ 2331. Definitions
As used in this chapter—
(1) the term “international terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum;
(2) the term “national of the United States” has the meaning given such term in section 101(a)(22) of the Immigration and Nationality Act;
(3) the term “person” means any individual or entity capable of holding a legal or beneficial interest in property;
(4) the term “act of war” means any act occurring in the course of—
(A) declared war;
(B) armed conflict, whether or not war has been declared, between two or more nations; or
(C) armed conflict between military forces of any origin; and
(5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.
