I generated that number '5160' by randomly selecting each number at a time. First, I closed my eyes, started flipping pages in the telephone book, stopped on a page with my eyes still closed, then I jabbed my sharp scientific instrument tool onto the page of the telephone book and held it there and then opened my eyes to see what was under the instrument. I had to do that several times before I had used my instument to stick the sharp end into an actual number and eventually, I generated the number '5.' I did the same thing over and over again until I generated the number '1' and then I did the same process over and over again until I got the last two numbers and I generated each number by itself using that process.

God, I know what it is. If I could just remember it. Salt. What is it about salt? Salt has something to do with it. Sodium chloride. NaCl. What is about salt? Am I supposed to create some kind of solution that uses salt? I tried that already. Nothing happened. Is it not yet time? Salt. Salt. Salt. Salt. Salt water, of course, is seawater. But that is not it by itself. That is not what I need to recall. I don't know. Maybe, again, I don't have to actually construct anything. Maybe I am just supposed to remember something.

I have reached the point in the series finale episodes of the "Battlestar Galactica" television series DVD collection where those final five "Cylons" all stick their hands into what I just heard them describe as a conductive solution so they can all transfer the code in their "Cylon" minds into a collective work that will give the other "Cylons" the program code to the "Resurrection" technology.

I had been thinking that the reason for the artificial memory of me being in that building and replacing a cathode ray tube in a mainframe computer terminal is because that artificial memory was designed as a reference to the 1984 film "Night of the Comet." There is a scene that I am thinking of and that I always think features a terminal device instead of the device that we today commonly refer to as the personal computer. The reason for having an artificial memory reference that scene is because the events on 19 January 1993 where Deputy US Marshal was shot by the fugitive that Deputy Marshal Burgess killed by almost instantaneous gunfire was an ambush that had been planned years in advance by the national traitor George Bush and because George Bush is guilty of capital crimes against the United States federal government.

I was trying to recall the name of the company that was based in that building where I "remember" going to work on that computer terminal. I think that was the corporation that runs the Biltmore hotel there somewhere around Asheville NC. I looked on the map and I can clearly see that same building on Broadway Street and College Street has a sign on the top of the building featuring the name Merrill Lynch and I can see their logo of the bull. I do not recall if Merrill Lynch occupied that building on that day 19 January 1993 and it is possible that is a multi-tenant building and whether or not Merrill Lynch occupied that building in 1993 they are occupants now and I do not know when they began operations there. The federal courthouse is only a short distance away on North French Broad Avenue.

In the 1994 film "Timecop" "Atwood" is sitting at his desk and he seems to hear that "Walker" is about to appear in his office. Something seems to alert him that "Walker" is about to appear but when ever I watch that film on television I am never really just what alerts him to the appearance of "Walker." The scene establishes that "Atwood" is alert before the form of "Walker" even begins to appear.

Look at how that works out. The name "Atwood" is also that street name I noted at that former First Federal building where I "remember" working in Greenville SC. The building is at the corner of Academy and College. A street just as close as Atwood is, I think without looking it up again, named Barrett. I think it is connected to Central. The premiere date is the same as "Princess Caraboo."

The former First Federal building has Academy on its east side. College Street runs along its north side and separates it with that library and museum section to the north. On that north side, Atwood Street is a short distance to the northwest and towards the former First Federal building, Marshall Avenue ends and Atwood Street on the west end and Barret Street on the east end. Barrett Street runs north and south and ends after a short distance at Central Avenue which also curves around and ends on its west side on Marshall Avenue.

The Perry’s were probably considered state-of-the-art, leading edge, futuristic, etc. etc. at the time, not unlike the Aegis destroyers of today. I also find myself remembering when I first heard I was being assigned to the Taylor and I didn’t know what was an “FFG.” My roommate in Orlando told me it was a “Fast Frigate.” I wondered if that means we had “slow frigates.” Recently I read a Reagan speech that referred to the Perry’s as “Fleet Frigates,” so there seems to be some confusion about the designation of “FF” for frigates. As far as I know, there really is not a secondary meaning for the “FF” designation, as in either “Fast Frigate” or “Fleet Frigate.” We just use though double letters for every class, such as FF, or DD, or BB for surface warfare vessels. The only exception is the cruiser class, so that tells me that the reasoning was that U.S. Navy ship designations should also use two-letter designations. Since the modern USN cruisers are always guided-missile platforms, their designation will always include the “G” and therefore only need one “C.” As far as I know, there are still non-guided missile frigates in service, so those would still need the “FF,” but I did read somewhere that there are no plans to create a new class of frigates. The destroyers will probably always be guided-missile platforms, but it seems unusual to designate them as “DG.” I have been thinking more about battleships too and wondering about the practically of such ships.

It is great that 'Charles Endell Esquire' has become a hit on 'You Tube' thirty one years after its I.T.V. debut. We can but hope that a D.V.D. release is on the cards for next year. But what of the show that started it all - 'Budgie'? The first episode - 'Out' - begins with Ronald 'Budgie' Bird ( the late Adam Faith ), small-time crook, newly released from an open prison. Given a lift by a van driver ( Budgie pretends to be a prison officer ), he notices the man has a habit of leaving the keys to his van in the ignition while he goes for dinner. He is carrying expensive perfumes, worth a lot on the open market. After reacquainting himself with his old girlfriend, model Hazel Fletcher ( Lynn Dalby ), Budgie borrows money from Soho strip club king Charlie Endell ( Iain Cuthbertson ). The ebullient Glaswegian has a job for his friend - to act as minder to Charity ( Adrienne Posta ), a 15 year stripper from Salford with a fondness for crisps ( excepting cheese and onion flavour ). With the girl in tow, Budgie plots to steal the van the next time it is outside the roadside café. Unfortunately, he has as an accomplice an Irishman named Grogan ( Rio Fanning ), who makes 'Father Dougal McGuire' of 'Father Ted' look like Professor Stephen Hawking. Thanks to Grogan's incompetence, Budgie steals the wrong van...
A terrific episode, boasting a script that crackles like a new five pound note and a cast perfectly equipped to do justice to it. It sets up a pattern that would become a familiar one in the weeks to come - Budgie plots a big scam only for it to go badly wrong. The van Budgie makes off with contains not perfumes, but pornographic books withdrawn from sale by the Vice Squad. Budgie cannot even sell them to Charlie as they have been banned, so he and Grogan make a bonfire on a cricket pitch. As the books burn, a strong wind blows the burning pages across a wide area. To make matters worse, the cricketers show up a day early.
