Just Another Day
(theres life underground)
I feel it all around / I feel it in my bones
My life is on the line / when Im away from home
When I step out the door / the jungle is alive
I do not trust my ears / I dont believe my eyes
I will not fall in love / I cannot risk the bet
Cause hearts are fragile toys / so easy to forget
Its just another day / theres murder in the air
It drags me when I walk / I smell it everywhere
Its just another day / where people cling to light
To drive away the fear / that comes with every night
Chorus
Its just another . . . . . . . its just another day
Its just another . . . . . . . its just another day . . .
Its just another day--when people wake from dreams
With voices in their ears--that will not go away
I had a dream last night / the world was set on fire
And everywhere I ran / there wasnt any water
The temperature increased / the sky was crimson red
The clouds turned into smoke / and everyone was dead
(but) theres a smile on my face . . . for everyone
Theres a golden coin . . . that reflects the sun
Theres a lonely place . . . thats always cold
Theres a place in the stars . . . for when you get old
Theres razors in my bed / that come out late at night
They always disappear / before the morning light
Im dreaming again / of life underground
It doesnt ever move / it doesnt make a sound
And just when I think--that things are in their place
The heavens are secure--the whole thing explodes in my face

"Time Keeps on Slippin" is the 14th episode in season 3 of Futurama. It originally aired May 6, 2001. The title is from a lyric in Fly Like an Eagle by The Steve Miller Band.
Representatives from the Globetrotter homeworld land in Central Park, and challenge Earth's honor on the basketball court, for no apparent reason. Professor Farnsworth accepts the Globetrotters' challenge, resolving to create a team of mutant atomic supermen to take them on. Unfortunately, when he completes his work, he is left with a team of mutant infants. Needing to accelerate their growth, the Professor sends the crew to gather chronitons over Bender's objection that the particles in question were responsible for the destruction of an entire civilization. All the while, Fry is trying to woo an unreceptive Leela.
The crew returns with the chronitons, and the mutants' growth is successfully accelerated. The game proceeds, with Farnsworth's team of mutants maintaining a massive lead over the Globetrotters. But at the start of the second half, time begins inexplicably jumping forward. One of the atomic supermen, Arachneon, is killed and Fry joins the team in the last minutes. Although the Earth team had a seemingly insurmountable lead the Globetrotters win by unknown means during a time skip. The Professor formulates a theory that the crew's collection of chronitons has destabilized space-time, and will lead to the premature destruction of the universe.
With the assistance of the Globetrotters' leader, "Bubblegum" Tate, Farnsworth builds a gravity pump. With the pump, they intend to reposition stars around the source of the problem, thus diverting the time skips to the empty side of the universe. Thankfully, the time skips worked in their favor, enabling them to get the fund to build the gravity pump and attach it to the ship. Once they finish moving a ton of stars, Fry begins buttering Leela up again, but just as she's refusing him, time skips yet again—to their wedding, and then to their divorce. This leaves Fry wondering what he did to win her over. Meanwhile, the time skips are only getting worse.
With the assistance of the other Globetrotters (the greatest scientific minds in the universe), a new plan is devised. The Planet Express crew will use one of Professor Farnsworth's doomsday devices to implode the nebula, creating a black hole which will prevent further release of chronitons. As the crew gets into position, Fry notices a set of stars that spell out a love letter to Leela; apparently he used the gravity pump to move the stars into a love message for Leela during a time skip, and that apparently was what won her heart. However, these stars are too close to the nebula and are imploded along with it before anyone else can see them. Fry's feelings for Leela remain unresolved, but the time skips have been stopped for good.

The Seventh

T'Pol is dispatched by the Vulcan High Command to capture a fugitive that has eluded their authorities for nearly two decades.
When T'Pol is assigned a secret mission by the Vulcan High Command, she asks Archer to accompany her. The captain is surprised by her request, but agrees — especially when T'Pol reveals that there is a personal side to the mission. Many years ago, T'Pol was sent to retrieve several rogue Vulcan operatives. She was able to apprehend all but one of them, a man known as Menos. Now, the Vulcans believe they have located Menos, and they want T'Pol to bring him in.
Soon, T'Pol, Archer and Mayweather are on their way to the Pernaia system, where Menos was last spotted. As Mayweather pilots their craft, T'Pol briefs Archer on Menos: he was assigned to infiltrate a cell of smugglers, and apparently became one of them. Now, he reportedly makes a career of smuggling synthetic bio-toxins used to make transgenic weapons. T'Pol last spotted him on Risa, where she nearly caught him. Once the trio lands at the snowy alien outpost, T'Pol spots Menos in the crowded, bar-like shelter. Menos puts up a good fight, but Mayweather manages to apprehend him, and the trio prepares to take him aboard their ship. Unfortunately, the landing deck of the outpost is being thermalized, and they won't be able to leave for several hours.
Meanwhile, back on Enterprise, Trip is confronted with the difficulty of serving as acting captain. Both Phlox and Reed need him to make decisions that will affect the ship and crew, while Hoshi informs him that Enterprise has been hailed by the Vulcan Captain Tavek, who has an urgent message from Admiral Forrest. When Tavek insists on speaking to the captain, Trip pretends to be Archer. As it turns out, the message from Forrest consists of water polo scores, and a relieved Trip hastily thanks the captain and bids him farewell.
Back at the alien outpost, Archer, T'Pol and Mayweather are holding Menos captive until it's safe to take off. Menos tries to appeal to T'Pol, saying that he has a wife and two daughters and that he's really not a smuggler at all — he merely transports spent injector casings. As they continue to talk, Menos insinuates that he wasn't alone when T'Pol nearly apprehended him on Risa. This triggers some fragmented flashes of memory for T'Pol. In one vision, she sees herself chasing two men through the jungle; in another, she seems to be in emotional distress at a Vulcan monastery. Determined to prove that Menos is a criminal, T'Pol makes her way across the dangerous dock to his ship ... only to find cases full of spent injector casings. Frustrated, she returns to the shelter, and asks to speak to Menos alone. With his help, she manages to piece her visions into a coherent scenario. It seems that there was one other fugitive she was charged with retrieving: Jossen, whom she spotted on Risa with Menos. She chased both of them through the jungle, and ended up killing Jossen. Later, she underwent an obscure Vulcan ritual known as the Fullara, wherein her memories of the event and all the surrounding emotions were repressed. T'Pol reveals this to Archer, who is upset that Menos is manipulating her emotions.
With T'Pol's guard down, Menos manages to escape, and Archer, Mayweather and T'Pol chase him to his ship. Though Menos nearly traps them, T'Pol manages to apprehend him. As she trains a weapon on him, Menos appeals to her guilt — he insists that she will let him go, rather than killing another innocent man. Archer, however, reminds T'Pol that she was assigned to apprehend Menos — not judge him. The captain's words help T'Pol to come to final decision, and she brings Menos in. Meanwhile, Mayweather discovers that Menos actually was hauling more than injector casings — a large container of bio-toxins sits just beyond a hidden forcefield.
Back on Enterprise, Archer extends his sympathies to T'Pol, noting that her newly-resurfaced memories aren't going to be easy to deal with. T'Pol notes that she's ready to move on, and tells Archer that if he ever needs someone he can trust, she's there for him.

A Ferengi female who has defied the law and disguised herself as a male risks it all when she falls in love with Quark.
While engaging in a game of Tongo with Rom, Dax, and a young Ferengi waiter named Pel, Quark is hailed by his leader, Grand Nagus Zek, who has good news for him — Zek has chosen him to act as his chief negotiator in the Ferengi expansion into the Gamma Quadrant. Soon afterward, Zek meets with Sisko and Kira, hoping they will let him use the station for a business conference with the Dosi, a race from the Gamma Quadrant, and they reluctantly agree. Zek then goes to Quark's quarters and instructs him to purchase ten thousand vats of tulaberry wine from the Dosi, a move he feels will establish a strong Ferengi presence. Quark later brags about his profitable assignment to Rom, but Pel, who overhears them, warns him to be wary of Zek's motives, since Zek will be credited for success but Quark will almost certainly be blamed for any failure. Impressed, Quark asks Pel to serve as his assistant, leaving Rom stung. Pel then returns to his quarters, removing his false earlobes and revealing that he is actually a female.
The next day, Quark relays to Zek that negotiations did not go well — the Dosi have left the station. Zek becomes enraged, but Pel tells him that they will travel to the Gamma Quadrant and make the deal with the Dosi in their territory. Soon, she is alone on a ship with Quark, and almost reveals her secret as the sexual tension mounts, leaving Quark vaguely troubled. Meanwhile, back on the station, a jealous Rom ransacks Pel's quarters and learns the truth about her gender.
In the Infirmary, Rom reminds Quark that since she wears clothes and tries to earn profit, Pel has violated Ferengi law and should be punished. Afraid to ruin his reputation with Zek, Quark promises to give Rom the bar in exchange for his silence. Quark then visits Pel in her quarters and tells her to leave the station. She tells Quark that she loves him, but despite his feelings for her, he tells her he would not be happy with a non-traditional Ferengi wife. Determined to make her point, Pel confronts Zek and reveals her true identity. Zek threatens to imprison both her and Quark, who is guilty of the Ferengi crime of taking business advice from a female, until Quark reminds Zek that he, too, is guilty. Zek agrees to keep quiet, costing Quark his potential Gamma Quadrant profits. Pel leaves the station to continue her adventures, and Quark is left with nothing but the sadness of his first lost love.
