You might be the next Phoebe

For someone else that is - I couldn't be happier with my Phoebe (except that we aren't together while I am working)

People in the News: It pays to have the right audience

Who needs "American Idol" to get a recording contract when you can get one by singing for George Clooney? Reuters reported that part-time food server and jazz singer Victoria Hart, 18, snagged a bidding battle for her crooning skills after performing in front of the "Ocean's 13" star and friends.

Hart sang in front of Clooney, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Cannes Film Festival at a benefit auction for Darfur. The performance was a career-maker that thrust her in the spotlight and into a tug-of-war between major recording labels EMI and Universal.

If one of those companies signs her, she'll say goodbye to her job at the Naked Turtle restaurant in London.
