Now that was just the best dream I just woke up from. Describing it just won't do it justice but I probably will later.

The part that almost makes it impossible to describe that dream as I want to is that there seemed to be a lot of nuance and emotion that I cannot even begin to articulate. The great part about the dream was that at the end, I realized the source of those great emotions was my wife. The character who represented her was someone that had been earlier riding in a car with me. There was some activity I was involved in that I can still see, but I don't understand what it means, and I don't feel like writing about it even though it probably all meant something. As for Phoebe, I walked into a room that looked almost like a restraunt because she and another woman were sitting at a booth-style table. In a nearby booth was a hologram of Marilyn Monroe and the two women giggled when the hologram effected a friendly demeanor as I approached and said "Hello, Elaine." That was funny to them but I don't really get it. Slightly before that, I was walking up to the woman, with feeling associated that I was seeing my girlfriend and I was going up to talk to her, and the closest person I can remember from my "memory" that she resembled was Tracey Grabski. She was wearing a U.S. Navy enlisted shirt that was white and short-sleeved. I want to say we were both in the Navy. I saw her rating badge on her sleeve and I made a comment about how I didn't know she was striking to be a Fire Controlman, as she had the rating badge of a FCSN, or E-3 Fire Controlman, on her shirt. She gave me a very endearing sideways look and said it wasn't her shirt. But there is a lot more detail and nuance than I can describe. It wasn't until the end of the dream I realized it was my shirt. And I am not sure if she actually spoke those words or whether she was lip-synching those words and I heard someone else speak those words. The next part I remember is that she was standing in front of me and I think she was going to kiss me but that was the woman who currently portrays the "Starbuck" character. There was some other stuff there at the end but it was more feelings than anything and it was about me getting to see my wife again sometime soon
There might be another clue, but this is the one I have found so far. That was her 21st birthday. That was probably another day I wanted to never forget, along with her birthday, in general.
From 6/22/1984 to 7/16/1984 is: 3 weeks and 3 days

The Karate Kid is a 1984 John G. Avildsen film starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita. It is a martial arts movie and an "underdog" story much in the model of a previous Avildsen smash, the 1976 boxing picture Rocky. It was a massive commercial hit and retains a popular following to this day. It also garnered a favorable critical reception, even earning Pat Morita an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
It is just outgoddamnedrageous that my wife has had to wait over 9 years for me to return home. At every turn, somebody is trying to completely fuck up my life and those around me.

Had some kind of dream that I was driving on the road. I think I was driving a pickup I used to have, that red Nissan. There was someone in another car driving along with me, following me to some destination. I remember the scenary, but it wasn't some place I recognized, it seemed to be some kind of 4-lane highway. At one point, the car following me didn't make a stop light in time and had to stop while I kept going. I found a place to turn off into a parking lot to wait for them. I think it was an auto parts store, but no place I recognize. I could actually hear someone talking, but I was alone in the truck. I think it was the people in the store. As I was pulling into the parking lot, something happened, all my windows seemed to become frozen off, as though I drove through a freezing cloud, I couldn't see anything. Then the car following me caught up with me and pulled in next to me. As I was backing out to continue, I saw a face in the car and I think it was my mother, the car kind of looked like that Bonneville she used to have. We continued driving along the highway.

[February 11th is one of those dates I recognize when I see it. It reminds me of one time someone wrote my birthday as Feb. 11th on a medical report, they transposed the 2 and 11 of my real, I guess, birthday of Nov. 2nd. And the episode is appropriately titled "Clues." Even more weird, this stuff seems to be just appearing in my mind lately, not sure how to describe it. It's like a light switch being turned on and this stuff......I don't know, it just feels right. But it also feels like there is more, a lot more. I wonder, worry really, that everything I remember is false. Where I have a memory of doing something, it was actually me watching someone else do that action. While I remember a certain event as happening one way, there is a seed of truth to that event, but it happened completely different than I remember.
And this episode features a time period of 30 seconds, which was the time period of the beacon signal in Lost. The stardate of 2367 reminds me of my first two pickups, which were both made in 1967, a symbol for the concept of "vehicle," perhaps? As in this is all a vehicle for some unknown plan? And the 1967 pickup reminds me of that pickup Bill Murray was driving off the cliff in Groundhog Day, as it looked like the first pickup I owned (or did I?).]

The crew awake from unconsciousness after passing through a wormhole. As the only one unaffected, Data states they have been unconscious for approximately 30 seconds. However, several things do not match up to Data's claim. As the crew investigate, it appears that Data has lied to them.

[This episode aired on the same date that my memory tells me that the Wainwright went on duty in the Persian Gulf. At least, that is the date I remember from the letter of commendation that captain gave me. It specified the dates as 2/1/88 to 6/15/88.
This episode reminds me of that other episode where Picard programs a binary message into Data to alert them of something in the future.
In the format I remember for the UNIVAC, a binary 11001001 would represent a decimal equivalent of 129. Could that be a date, as in January 2, 1999, perhaps? Or maybe February 1, 1999.
Also, the stardate is contains a similarity to my Nov. '65 birthdate. 11 divided by 12 returns a 9.
And I have been assuming that all this started in 1989, but this would serve to indicate that it had started earlier. The series started in 1987, which is the year I reported to the Wainwright, at least that is what is in my memory.]

On stardate 41365.9, the Enterprise arrives at Starbase 74, in orbit above Tarsus III, for a routine maintenance check. Captain Picard looks forward to a series of additional computer upgrades, including repairs to the holodeck. Picard and Commander Riker greet Commander Quinteros and a pair of small, large-skulled humanoid aliens who Quinteros introduces as Bynar. Picard addresses them as "gentlemen", but Quinteros points out that the Bynars are neither male nor female. They are a unified pair, always together. He introduces them as One Zero and Zero One. When the aliens speak, one begins the sentence and the other finishes it. The aliens express their honor to service the Enterprise, referring to the ship as a "mobile computer".
Actually, that 129 is incorrect as it is not a valid number in Base8. I have forgotten how I used to make those mental calculations for programing the UNIVAC. Windows Calculator returns 311 Base8, but something is different about that from the UNIVAC. The number format was 84218421 for the binary input panel for that number of Base2 numbers.
Ah, that makes sense. We thought of the panel in Base10 format for inputing the numbers, but the programs were written in Base8 format. So basically, I wrote it in Base8, converted it mentally to Base10, and then entered the instruction as a Base2 number.
Could 311 represent a date of March 1, 2001, or maybe January 3, 2001?
The decimal version is 201, so maybe that was supposed to be Feb. 2001.
