Jimi Hendrix Museum Proposed At The Center

Seattle may get a Jimi Hendrix museum to honor one of its most famous home-grown musicians.
The museum for the late guitarist would be at the Seattle Center and bankrolled by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, according to plans discussed yesterday before the City Council's Parks Committee.

I was surprised when I noted that from 11/2/1965 to 9/2/1978 is 4678 days and that day returned a premiere for the film "Dawn of the Dead."
I was less impressed though when I looked up the title for a specific reference and the premiere date of 9/2/1978 for the film "Dawn of the Dead" was actually for a premiere in Italy.
I would have just ignored it but as I was searching through my blog archive file I noted this detail about Sharon Tate and Italy and I wonder about the relevance because earlier today I scanned a headline on the internet about how Lindsay Lohan has been offered the role of Sharon Tate, apparently in a film that is being produced, so I wondered about that timing of all that. Once again, this was just something at random that I selected and I wonder about how significant these details will be to what I observe at 5:00 AM tomorrow morning, assuming that I am still awake.

I just found an article by Cinematical, whoever that is, that is date April 5th 2011 at 4:00PM and that indicates that photographer Tyler Shields tell EW that Lohan is in talks to star as Sharon Tate in his upcoming film "Eyes of a Dreamer," which is about Charles Manson.

The Enrico Fermi Nuclear Generating Station is a nuclear power plant on the shore of Lake Erie near Monroe in Frenchtown Charter Township, Michigan. It is approximately halfway between Detroit, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio. Two units have been constructed on this site. The first unit's construction started in 1963, and the second unit reached criticality in 1988.
The plant is named after the Italian nuclear physicist Enrico Fermi, most noted for his work on the development of the first nuclear reactor as well as many other major contributions to nuclear physics. Fermi won the 1938 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on induced radioactivity.

I was thinking last night about a memory featured prominently in my symbolic memory. It is of a time in 1985 when I was on the Taylor. It was during that same deployment when I watched the Estocin run aground in Key West. We were traveling along shoulder to shoulder with a Soviet battlegroup that was touring the oil pltform fields off the coast of Texas and Louisiana. During that time, I still worked for the Boatswain's Mates, but I was assigned to a 90-day tour of the mess decks, as all junior crewmen had to complete. I was working every day on the mess decks as a dishwasher. There was three of us in there and I remember one of them telling me "happy birthday". The part of this memory that seems to be operative is that I remember thinking several times that I turned 20 years old in "the Gulf." There seems to be a process there to makes me want to, that forces me to think that it was the Gulf Of Mexico. If I need to be forced to think I was in the Gulf Of Mexico for my 20th birthday, does that mean I needed to forget that I was actually in the Arabian Gulf for my 20th birthday? After I thought about that for a while, a few minutes ago I started wondering if it was actually my 21st birthday that I turned in the Gulf. Then I thought that maybe it was both. Maybe in March 1979 and March 1980, I was in the Arabian Gulf. I don't know why I would be there in '79, other than some kind of midshipman training. In March of 1980, when I would have turned 21, I could have been there in preparation for the attempted hostage rescue, Operation Eagle Claw.
According to this wikipedia article, that there were 53 hostages at the Tehran embassy being held by the radicals. According to this article, there were 52 that were releaed, but at the time of the rescue attempt, there were 53 captives. My starting salary at Microsoft in December 1998 was $53,000.

This reference to the Great Salt Desert, the staging area for the rescue attempt, reminds me of that memory on the Taylor. There was a problem with the fresh water machines and we couldn't wash clothes for a while. As I was standing lookout on the bridge at least once a day, my clothes were filthy from evaporated salt water.

I think that "Human Traffic" episode of the racketeering organization CBS television & "NCIS: Los Angeles" is the one where he moves into that house that is apparently where he had lived as a foster child or orphan or whatever it was and he is looking around and he opens a door and sees that his name is carved into the edge of the door.
I started to track the "Black Widow" episode but those two episodes premiere on the same date and there is a genuinely sinister connection between the two as deliberately created by the racketeering organization CBS television & "NCIS: Los Angeles" and for the purpose of their continuing unlawful attempt to elude law enforcement personnel.

I “remember” one particular print, something like an impressionist work, where I told Tracie one time that it looked like a widow, with the wind blowing the black dress, with a yellow canary nearby. Iran hostage crisis
The Iran hostage crisis was a diplomatic crisis between Iran and the United States that was triggered by a group of militant university students who took over the U.S. diplomatic mission in Tehran on November 4, 1979. The students were supported by Iran’s post-revolutionary regime that was in the midst of solidifying power. The students objected to U.S. influence in Iran and its support of the recently fallen Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who had been restored to power by a CIA funded coup in 1953. Pahlavi had replaced the democratically-elected prime minister Mohammad Mossadegh, who had attempted to overthrow the Shah and was feared by the Americans and British to be too close with the Soviet Union. They held 63 U.S. diplomats and three other U.S. citizens hostage until January 20, 1981. Of those captured, 52 were held hostage until the conclusion of the crisis 444 days later. These actions are often considered a violation of the long-standing principle of international law that diplomats are immune from arrest and that diplomatic compounds such as embassies are considered the absolute sovereign territory of the occupying country as granted by the host country, and as such, hostile incursions into the compound by elements of the host country are akin to acts of war.
The ordeal reached its climax when the United States military attempted a rescue operation on April 24, 1980. The failure of Operation Eagle Claw resulted in the deaths of five United States Air Force Airmen and three U.S. Marines. Some political analysts believe the crisis was the primary reason for U.S. President Jimmy Carter's defeat in the U.S. presidential election in November 1980.
The crisis ended with the signing of the Algiers Accords in Algeria on January 19, 1981. The hostages were formally released into United States custody the following day.
