Fairly certain I had never before watched that tv-series episode "Virtual Future", until just now, having watched the entire episode tonight
I have been working on this blog-post for several hours from earlier today but it was only the final ten minutes of the episode that made me think to write this part about it
Those final ten minutes reminds me of a sleeping-dream I had earlier this morning
In the vision, I would think after waking, I seemed to be seeing direct images of the 1997 computer game "Fallout"
Not sure if I ever actually played that game when it was new. Fairly certain I did not.
Played it for a few minutes back a few weeks ago. It was almost free on Steam and they had all the titles deeply discounted. Played for a couple hours "Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel"
So I seemed to be seeing moving images in my sleeping visions and I started thinking that the primitive video quality made it possibly the original "Fallout" computer game
Then, suddenly, I was in that world. The graphics seemed normal
I was standing there looking around and it was a continuation of that original, primitive video and that was about some vehicles and they were marauders or bandits or something and I needed to get away from there
So, I saw some visions of the Wasteland and a place that sort of reminded me of Shady Pines or whatever it is from that game and that was featured in the new "Fallout" streaming-video serial on Amazon Prime Video, of which I have 3 episodes remaining to watch
At one point, a helicopter materialized in the sky near me and flying low to the ground
It materialized as though it had been invisible or something
It landed.
And that's the part that this tv-series episode tonight reminded me
He's carrying that science-fiction computer gizmo and that is just so familiar to me from the vision in dream
I was carrying an object just the same way and I placed it on the floor of the helicopter before I climbed aboard
Didn't recognize the type of helicopter. It wasn't the Bell Iroquois UH-1 but the section I climbed into made me think of that helicopter.
The distinctive difference is that the pilot was seated behind me and I was facing forward and I knew I was at the front of the aircraft.
He was talking to me and telling me stuff. I could see a graphic display from some sort of instrumentation and that seemed to be what he was referring to
It was some sort of locator beacon device
The target of the instrument registered as a line drawn on the screen.
He was telling me that it was changing
As we approached it then it would change to a different position
We seemed to be getting it figured out

This sounds very interesting. In my memory of taking Physics my Senior year at Ashdown, I remember being very interested in the class, but we didn’t cover such an interesting topic.

I actually do remember... something... I can’t explain it. It feels that I am holding an unmarked, undistinguishable book that I don’t know the name of or the contents but I know I have read it already.

A few minutes ago I started thinking that maybe I started at Princeton University in 1972. I would have been 13 at the time as Thomas Ray. I remember that Kerry Burgess started first grade in 1972. But then I decided that I probably started Princeton earlier than 1972 and maybe 1972 was the year I completed my first major degree. Or 1972 doesn’t really mean anything in particular to Thomas Ray; rather it is there for continuity sake for the life of Kerry Burgess.

After Kara recites what the Hybrid has told her, a shaken Leoben retreats, with Thrace wondering what she is. In shock, Thrace takes the body and burns it on a pyre, and decides to not tell anyone about what she found, making people believe she lost the signal.

Earth
In "Sometimes a Great Notion", Starbuck and Leoben look for the Colonial beacon which led them to Earth. They find the wreckage of a Viper with Starbuck's tail number and what appears to be her charred corpse. Both Kara and Leoben are shocked by this discovery and do not understand what it means. After removing the dog tags and wedding ring, Kara asks "If that's me lying there, then what am I?". He responds by backing away as if recoiling from the realization that she is indeed the "Harbinger of Death." She returns to the wrecked Viper and, after carefully wrapping the remains in a parachute shawl, she incinerates the body on a funeral pyre.
