Richard A. Jewell (December 17, 1962 – August 29, 2007) was a central figure of the Centennial Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. In early news reports, Jewell was lauded as a hero for helping to evacuate the area after he spotted the suspicious package. For the next several weeks, the news media focused aggressively on him as the presumed culprit, sifting through his life to match a leaked "lone bomber" profile that the FBI had used. The media, to varying degrees, portrayed Jewell as a failed law enforcement officer who may have planted the bomb so he could find it and be a hero.[3]
Richard Jewell's hunting rifles were confiscated and never returned, having been presumably destroyed or sold. His mother's family photographs and Tupperware collection were taken as "evidence" and returned vandalized. Two of the bombing victims filed lawsuits against Jewell on the basis of this reporting. In a reference to the Unabomber, Jay Leno called him the "Una-doofus".[4] Other references include "Una-Bubba," [5] and (of his mother) "Una-Mama." Jewell was never officially charged, but the FBI searched his home, questioned his associates, investigated his background, and maintained twenty-four hour surveillance of him.
On one episode of the David Letterman Show (date unknown), they had a top 10 list of new things in the "Star Wars" remake. One of them was, "Darth Vader blames Richard Jewell for blowing up the death star."

According to her story, on May 8, 1991, Paula Jones was escorted to the Excelsior [1] [2] [3] (now Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas) hotel room of Clinton, then governor of Arkansas, where he allegedly propositioned her. She claimed she kept quiet about the incident until 1994, when a David Brock story in American Spectator told a lurid account, sometimes referred to as Troopergate, about an Arkansas employee named "Paula" offering to be Clinton's girlfriend. While there were few witnesses to back up Miss Jones claims, Clinton's previous actions with a number of other women produced many witnesses who were willing to testify to similar behavior. In late 1997, Judge Susan Webber Wright ruled Jones was "entitled to information regarding any individuals with whom President Clinton had sexual relations or proposed to or sought to have sexual relations and who were, during the relevant time frame, state or federal employees."
In September 1997, Jones' attorneys Gilbert Davis and Joseph Cammarata both quit the case, after Carpenter-McMillan advised Jones to reject the settlement offer from Clinton because it did not come with an apology.
On November 13, 1998, Clinton settled with Jones for $850,000, the entire amount of her claim, but without an apology, in exchange for her agreement to drop the appeal.
With the inducement of further evidence in the case, President Clinton was held in contempt of court by judge Susan Webber Wright.[8] His license to practice law was suspended in Arkansas and later by the United States Supreme Court
Jones' lawyers decided to show to the court a pattern of behaviour by Clinton, which involved him allegedly repeatedly becoming sexually involved with state or government employees. Jones' lawyers therefore subpoenaed females they suspected Clinton had had affairs with, and one such was Monica Lewinsky.

In the first flashback, Kate checks into a hotel room and looks at her wedding veil. A policeman, Kevin, knocks on the door and demands to be let in. When Kate opens the door, she jumps into his arms, we learn that they are a couple and are to be married in 12 hours. Kate, or Monica, as she is known as to her soon-to-be husband, has a moment of doubt, but Kevin assures her it is right and real because he loves her. Before her wedding, Kevin's mother, Suzanne, gives Kate a gold locket that had been passed down on the female side of the family at weddings. Kate tells her that "mothers-in-law aren't supposed to be so nice."
During the ceremony, the Minister talks about Kate's honesty and faithfulness, and how what you see is what you get. A while after the ceremony, Kate calls U.S. Marshal Mars. She does not want to run any more and pleads for him to stop chasing her. He guesses it is about a guy. She tells him she loves the guy and the Marshal says that if Kate can really stay put, really settle down, he will stop chasing her, but that they both know it is unlikely that Kate ever will stop running. Later, we see Kate looking at the results of a pregnancy test: negative. She shows signs of relief. She finally tells Kevin she is a fugitive on the run for killing her father. She drugs Kevin and leaves.
Evangeline Lilly submitted this episode for consideration on her behalf in the category of "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" at the 2007 Emmy Awards.

Newton's laws of motion are three physical laws which provide relationships between the forces acting on a body and the motion of the body, first compiled by Sir Isaac Newton.
Newton's laws of motion describe the acceleration of massive particles. In modern language, the laws may be stated as:

If no net force acts on a particle, then it is possible to select a set of reference frames, called inertial reference frames, observed from which the particle moves without any change in velocity. This law is often simplified into the sentence "An object will stay at rest or continue at a constant velocity unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force".
