In the 1984 movie "Gremlins," starring my wife, she portrays a character who is a bank teller at "Union Savings And Trust" and her character also works as a bartender at "Dorry's Tavern."
There is the scene in the movie at 01:17:15 where one of the "Gremlins," wearing a ski mask, is brandishing a pistol at Phoebe, as Phoebe is ecaping from her bartending job, which has been overrun by the "Gremlins."
She dodges just in time when the "Gremlin" fires the pistol and the bullet hits the center of a photo of what looks to be a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. At first glance, it looks to be a B-26 Marauder, as opposed to the B-25 Mitchell because of the tail configuration, but the photo is of a 4-engine aircraft, where the B-26 Marauder is a twin-engine aircraft.

Ridge steps down as homeland security secretary

WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, whose name became synonymous with color-coded terror alerts and tutorials about how to prepare for possible attack, resigned Tuesday.
Ridge submitted his resignation in writing to President Bush on Tuesday morning but indicated he will continue to serve until Feb. 1. "I will always be grateful for his call to service," Ridge said.
Ridge said that for the future he intends to "raise some family and personal matters to a higher priority," including attending his son's rugby games.

Slain deputy had become White Center's "Superman"

Giving up a successful career in law is an unusual route to becoming a beat cop.
But King County Sheriff's Deputy Steve Cox was an unusually idealistic man, say those who knew him. Frustrated with criminals beating the legal system, he left his job as a deputy prosecutor to patrol the streets in White Center, the high-crime neighborhood near where he grew up.
To business owners and residents, he became a "Superman" who was single-handedly making the streets safer and the neighborhood better. He became so deeply involved in community issues that he was elected president of the local council. To his family, he was a man who had found new joy since he and his wife, Maria, adopted a baby, Bronson, who turned 1 in October.
Now the neighborhood is mourning after Cox, 46, was shot and killed early Saturday.
Local bartender Cheryl Moss said Cox did more than anyone else to clean up drug dealing and prostitution: "He was our Superman. And now our Superman's dead."
