WASHINGTON — Ari Fleischer, the public face of the Bush White House through terrorist attacks, two wars and myriad crises great and small, is calling it quits.
President Bush's chief spokesman said yesterday he would leave the White House in July. Fleischer said he planned to go on the speaking circuit and do some writing before looking for work in the private sector. Mostly, he said, he wanted to relax.
