:15:13
What is this for?

:15:17
No, what is this for?
What are you selling?

:15:21
Oh. It's a game.

:15:24
A game?

:15:28
Think of it
as a great vacation,

:15:30
except you don't go to it,
it comes to you.

:15:32
What kind of vacation?

:15:35
It's different every time.

:15:37
Humor me with specifics.

:15:39
We provide...

:15:45
whatever's lacking.

:15:46
And what if nothing is lacking?

How long have you called me "Buster"?

I find it rather endearing, actually, if it is something you have done for a long time.

The Final Countdown

:38:47
Sir, I think
you oughta see this.

:38:50
It suddenly appeared
behind us.

:38:55
I don't believe this.
It's starting again.

:38:59
Do you think
we can outrun it?

:39:01
Maybe we oughta be asking ourselves
should we even be trying to outrun it.

:39:05
Six minutes to intercept.

:39:08
Change course to 180.

:39:10
- All ahead, flank speed.
- Steady course 180.

:39:14
- Come to course 180, aye, sir.
- All ahead flank.

:39:17
- Indicate 125 R.P.M.
- All ahead flank, indicate 125 R.P.M.

:39:32
Zulu-5-Bravo,
this is Victory 210.

:39:35
I have enemy bandits on radar.
Approximately four minutes to intercept.

:39:39
210, this is Zulu-5-Bravo.
You're cleared to arm.

:39:50
Sir, when we changed course,
the storm changed course.

:39:52
It's following us
and growing at the same time.

:39:55
I'm recalling those planes.

:39:58
- Wait a minute, sir. You can't do that.
- What are you talking about?

:40:00
We've got an incredible
opportunity here.

:40:02
We know where all the mistakes
are gonna be made for the next 40 years

:40:05
and you've got the power
to correct them.

:40:08
You stay out of this.

:40:10
Scrub the mission.
Get those planes back.

:40:21
Your signal is Buster.
I say again, your signal is Buster.

:40:24
Read you loud and clear.

:40:26
Strike Force,
this is Strike Leader.

:40:29
Return to base.
Mission aborted.

:40:32
Mission aborted?
But we can see 'em

:15:00
- [ CAG? ]
- Yes, Skipper?

:15:03
- How many planes have you got in the air?
- Just one, sir.

:15:06
- Our newest pilot, Stanton.
- Well, get him aboard as fast as you can.

:15:09
- I want to get out of this weather.
- Right away, Skipper.

:15:11
- He wants him down now. Keep trying.

I have been thinking of something someone told me that happened one time at sea in the Navy. I have thought of it as a real memory, but I think actually it is a relevant clue. We were somewhere, maybe in the Caribbean, and we were conducting a sonar exercise with one of our submarines. One of the sonar tech's was telling us later that the exercise had basically been a waste of time. Apparantly the captain started pinging the submarine with active sonar as we were leaving port so we always knew where it was. The point of the exercise had been to try to detect the submarine at some point, but since we were pinging it leaving port, we were basically cheating.

The other day, it dawned on me that my school assignments between the Taylor and the Wainwright were also clues. I started at Orlando, not sure what that means, Seaworld maybe? Then I toured some caves on a road trip to Great Lakes, with GL representing possibly a great deal of memories from my real life. And then I went to Dam Neck after

This frustration I feel for not getting enough computer time is actually a good exercise too. On a long journey, there isn't going to be real time communication. And any communication we have will be delayed. That would probably be very frustrating in an emergency.

For the past few hours, not if before or after I took a nap this afternoon, I have started thinking that I was on the Apollo 11 flight too. At ten years old

I'm not sure how long this has been going on, because I don't think I've written about it for various reasons, but I have been having a lot of thoughts about me on the surface of Mars. But my thoughts have been always about the future, as though it was something I could expect to do in the future.

I was writing about something like this a few months ago. I was writing about the psychological effects of trying to work with ground control to solve a problem while on a space craft that is a long ways from Earth. I thought those thoughts were an indication that I would someday go to Mars and this current experience was a form of preparation for it. Now in the past few days I have started thinking that I have already been to Mars.

Damn, I thought after writing all these notes to myself today, this is going to turn in to the Great Lakes based on the volume. Every single detail I remember to my artificial life means something else, it is some metaphor for something else. All this stuff I see in the movies and television was put there to help me find my way back. It lets me remember, especially the pain and grief, on easier terms, instead of having it slap me in the face all at one time.

From my notes earlier today, I was commenting to myself that something is wrong or off with the timeline. That may be because I am older than I think I am, maybe several years. I can remember some clues over the past few years, of what I considered to be real memories and not implanted memories, that support this theory that I am older.
