The villianous character "Knotcher" in the 1986 film "Iron Eagle" must be the cause of the look-alikes I was seeing around me all that time at Microsoft, such as Tom Devey who resembled Colonel Ilan Ramon of the Israeli Air Force, along with Ramona Ramadas. The manager Jerry Boesch always reminded me of Tim Thomerson in that scene towards the end of the 1986 film "Iron Eagle" when he is shot by the sniper rifle fire, which reminds me of the red smudge that Microsoft-Corbis-Al Qaeda modified my security badge photo around the time some other people were spreading rumors that I was a U.S. Navy SEAL, which I denied.
My mere presence must have really struck a nerve among the criminal element that permeates Microsoft and that actively supports that Microsoft-Corbis-Al Qaeda alliance.
The registration number on "Doug Masters" Cessna in "Iron Eagle," that premiered on 1/17/1986, was N9828J. The scene of his damaged aircraft crossing the finish line marker is similar to me flying into an emergency barricade in my damaged F-14 Tomcat on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier on 5/9/1985. That event was also present in the 1986 "Top Gun" although that movie did not feature any actual aerial combat. That event I survived on 5/9/1985 is also in the 1991 "Flight of the Intruder" where "Grafton's" bombardier/navigator is killed and then in the later scenes where his A-6 Intruder almost crashes to the surface. In the scene where he lands on the carrier deck after "Morg" is hit by small arms fire, there are some cables in the foreground of the scene that make me think of the emergency barricade.
The reason for the N9828J registration number and then for the scene of "Doug Masters" flying across the finish line into something similar to the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier emergency barricade is because I was originally scheduled to fly on the space shuttle flight STS-51-L and I had it scheduled for 1/28/1986 but I could not fly into space after suffering the head injury from enemy fire on 5/9/1985. I did fly in U.S. military aircraft after the space shuttle Challenger was lost but I was flying as part of the flight crew and not as the pilot and it was in that capacity I was shot down by anti-aircraft fire and became a Prisoner of War in Libya on 2/14/1986 while involved in a military operation associated with the loss of the space shuttle Challenger.

My favorite Ronald Reagan story is one he told me himself. It was his account of his private conversation with the Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev on the occasion of their first summit meeting in Geneva in November 1985.
Their formal talks were to be held in a palace on the heights overlooking the lake, but before the official sessions were to begin, the president wanted to have an informal chat with Gorbachev, with only their interpreters present. Had mission commander Col Zeev Raz's risk assessment been proven right, one pilot would have ejected over Baghdad and another would have been waiting out in the desert for helicopters to rescue him in the night.
Yet the loss of two planes would have been a price worth paying in the eyes of the pilots of the eight F-16s and their two F-15 escorts: several believed they were averting nothing less than a new Holocaust of the Jews.
"No-one thought that all eight F-16s would return, no-one," the retired colonel says.

Americans enjoy a multitude of sports and recreational activities that serve to refresh the body and spirit. For many of our citizens, recreation means boating.
Those involved in recreational boating should always remember that the primary responsibility for safety rests with the individual. And while a cruise can be a wonderful experience for one person or an entire family, it can also result in tragedy.
Aware of the need for boating safety, the Congress enacted the joint resolution of June 4, 1958 (36 U.S.C. 161) as amended, requesting that the President proclaim a National Safe Boating Week.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is the United States Department of the Navy's primary law enforcement agency and successor to the former Naval Investigative Service (NIS).
Roughly half of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) 2400 employees are civilian special agents. They are trained to carry out a wide variety of assignments at locations across the globe. NCIS special agents are armed federal law enforcement investigators and frequently coordinate with other US government agencies. NCIS has conducted fraud investigations resulting in over half a billion dollars in recoveries and restitution to the U.S. Government and the U.S. Navy since 1997. NCIS investigates any death occurring on a Navy vessel or Navy/Marine Corps aircraft or installation (except when the cause of death is medically attributable to disease or natural causes). NCIS oversees the Master at Arms programs for the Navy, overseeing 8800 Masters-At-Arms and the Military Working Dog program. It may not have been the "shock-and-awe" show promised by United States forces poised to invade Iraq.
But to anyone watching television, the swiftness with which yesterday's airstrike in Baghdad was executed, disseminated and explained was a heck of a dress rehearsal.
The White House and news organizations worked in well-oiled tandem. The time elapsed from when the bombing run took place to when anchors were correctly summarizing it — barely a half-hour — gave new meaning to the concept of a fast news cycle.
News that air-raid sirens were sounding over Baghdad broke at 6:37 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and 5:37 a.m. in Iraq.
By 6:41 p.m., CNN's senior Pentagon correspondent Jamie McIntyre had determined that it probably was not. Almost simultaneously, the White House said spokesman Ari Fleischer would make a brief statement.
One minute later — that's five minutes after explosions sounded over Baghdad — Fleischer appeared on camera to announce, "The opening stages of the disarmament of the Iraqi regime have begun" and that the president would speak at 10:15 p.m. (7:15 PST).

Ronald Reagan
Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) was the 40th President of the United States (1981–1989) and the 33rd Governor of California (1967–1975). Born in Illinois, Reagan moved to Los Angeles, California in the 1930s, where he was an actor, president of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and a spokesman for General Electric (GE).
Reagan took a screen test in 1937 that led to a seven-year contract with Warner Brothers studios. His first screen credit was the starring role in the 1937 movie Love Is on the Air, and by the end of 1939 he had already appeared in 19 films.
Military service
After completing fourteen home-study Army Extension Courses, Reagan enlisted in the Army Enlisted Reserve on April 29, 1937, as a private assigned to Troop B, 322nd Cavalry at Des Moines, Iowa. He was appointed Second Lieutenant in the Officers Reserve Corps of the Cavalry on May 25, 1937, and on June 18 was assigned to the 323rd Cavalry.
Reagan was ordered to active duty for the first time on April 18, 1942. Due to his nearsightedness, he was classified for limited service only, which excluded him from serving overseas.[23] His first assignment was at the San Francisco Port of Embarkation at Fort Mason, California, as a liaison officer of the Port and Transportation Office. Upon the approval of the Army Air Force (AAF), he applied for a transfer from the Cavalry to the AAF on May 15, 1942, and was assigned to AAF Public Relations and subsequently to the 1st Motion Picture Unit in Culver City, California. On January 14, 1943 he was promoted to First Lieutenant and was sent to the Provisional Task Force Show Unit of This Is The Army at Burbank, California. He returned to the 1st Motion Picture Unit after completing this duty and was promoted to Captain on July 22, 1943.
By the end of the war, his units had produced some 400 training films for the AAF.

Reagan was first elected to the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild in 1941, serving as an alternate. Following World War II, he resumed service and became 3rd Vice president in 1946. The adoption of conflict-of-interest bylaws in 1947 led the SAG president and six board members to resign; Reagan was nominated in a special election for the position of president and subsequently elected. He would subsequently be chosen by the membership to seven additional one-year terms, from 1947 to 1952 and in 1959.[26] Reagan led SAG through eventful years that were marked by labor-management disputes, the Taft-Hartley Act, House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) hearings and the Hollywood blacklist era.
