COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Thousands gathered today to dedicate the new George Bush Presidential Library, as President Clinton applauded Bush for generous, valuable advice.
"Whenever I called on President Bush, he was always there," Clinton said in his speech. "It's hard to express . . . what it means in a moment of difficulty to be able to call someone who first of all knows exactly what you're up against and, secondly, will tell you the truth.
"He has done that time and time again."

The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is the presidential library of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States. It was dedicated on November 6, 1997 and opened to the public shortly thereafter. It was designed by the architectural firm of Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum.
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is located on a ninety-acre site on the west campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library and the LBJ Presidential Library, in partnership with NASA's Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston, will tell the story of America’s exploration into the final frontier. The LBJ Library will begin the tale with man's early interest in space through the first walk on the moon. The George Bush Presidential Library continues the story with Skylab, the Space Shuttle, and the International Space Station. Large scale models, original shuttle equipment, a shuttle simulator, and interactive programs are just a few of the spectacular items to be displayed. The third part of the story, which will reveal what's next for the future of NASA, will take place in Houston. All three locations will be linked, and will coordinate marketing and programs. The countdown begins…!

Friedrich Kellner was a political activist in Mainz, Germany for the Social Democrats and campaigned against the Nazi Party. When Hitler came to power and sought revenge against his political opponents, Friedrich Kellner moved his family to the small town of Laubach where he became the chief justice inspector in the district courthouse. He had access to police and prosecutors records and trial documents. His open declarations against the miscarriages of justice caused him to be brought before a tribunal and threatened with imprisonment in a concentration camp. After that he spent his nights writing in a secret diary, at risk to his life, decrying the militarism of his countrymen and the insanity of their totalitarian leader.
I could not fight the Nazis in the present, as they had the power to still my voice, so I decided to fight them in the future," he explained, when he gave the diary to his grandson for safekeeping. "I would give the coming generations a weapon against any resurgence of such evil. My eyewitness account would record the barbarous acts, and also show the way to stop them."
Friedrich Kellner bore witness in his diary to barbaric acts of the Nazis: indoctrinating children in prejudice and hatred, and sending those children with weapons to kill; terror bombing civilian population centers; spreading propaganda to make the world believe the victims were responsible for their own slaughter; and using Jews as scapegoats, and targeting them for genocide.
On October 26, 1941 Friedrich Kellner wrote: The world will rightfully be enraged about this inhumanity, and a hate will burn that can never be extinguished. How long will this reign of terror continue?

Pseudologia fantastica
Pseudologia fantastica, or pathological lying, is one of several terms applied by psychiatrists to the behaviour of habitual or compulsive lying.
It was first described in the medical literature in 1891. One definition of pathological lying is the following:
Pathological lying is falsification entirely disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime.
The defining characteristics of pseudologia fantastica are that, first, the stories are not entirely improbable and often have some element of truth. They aren't a manifestation of delusion or some more wider form of psychosis: upon confrontation, the person can acknowledge them to be untrue, even if unwillingly. Second, the fabricative tendency is long lasting; it is not provoked by the immediate situation or social pressure as much as it originates with the person's innate urge to act in accordance. Third, a definitely internal, not an external, motive for the behavior can be clinically discerned. E.g. long lasting extortion or habitual spousal battery might cause a person to lie repeatedly, without the lying being a pathological symptom.
