The other dream I had was about fighting some kind of aliens. I'm not sure if this dream happened before the one I wrote about above or if it happened later. In this dream, I am still in the Navy, but I am wearing some kind of camoflauge uniform, maybe army or marines. These aliens have invaded a subway and there are a lot of travelers around in danger. I am about to drop from exhaustion after 36 hours of fighting, we have been retreating and I am separated from the other soldiers. I am carrying two heavy packs, trying to find another unit to group up with, with passengers stream through the facility, they are even getting on the trains as some of them are still coming through. I have lost my rifle somewhere. I still have plenty of ammo, but I can't find a rifle. A woman at a coffee kisok says something to me that I don't remember, she has dried blood on her hands as she is preparing coffee. Then I am outside and I have found an armory where I get another rifle. I start heading back to the subway. A woman drives up in a car and asks me if I am who she thinks I am. But I can't remember seeing her actually in the car, all I can remember is seeing her buried in the dirt with only her talking face exposed. That is all I remember.

I had a very clear dream of me back in uniform and given a new assignment on a base. I can remember seeing that I was wearing the USN Captain insignia on my khakis. I walked into a room where a change of command was going on. I'm not sure if I was told this in the dream or if I am assuming that is what's happening. I know or assume that the two officer's in the change of command were subordinate officers to me and that they were Commander's. Their command was a subordinate command to mine. I remember from the dream shaking hands with one of them and introducing myself as Captain. I can't remember the name I gave her but I think I said Captain Thomas Ray. There is also some kind of element to that part of the dream; something about it seeming silly to introduce myself by stating my rank because that was obvious or I was stating the obvious. And another unusual part was that they wouldn't tell me which one of them was taking command during that ceremony and which one was relinquishing command. I felt comfortable being back in that role, but yet, I felt as though I was still missing a few too many pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that is my mind, for my comfort. I probably serve better now for a while as an independent operative rather than an officer in charge of a large command where subordinates have certain expectations of their Captain.

So the longer this goes on that the longer I remain an independent operative and an active duty U.S. Navy officer - and the senior ranking officer of the United States federal government - the more believable these guys will be when they destroy with nuclear weapons at least 1 American city.
My guess is they have been waiting for me to finish revealing my secret identity which establishes my authority over these Rent-A-Clowns before they assign the task of destroying with stolen nuclear weapons some city in the United States.
They were expecting me to assume authority in a rapid manner though and instead I have been trying to stop their plans by slowly revealing my secret identity which is the only hope I have that other people with control over nuclear weapons will pay attention to the mutiny in progress against my United States federal authority and that they will not let them steal any nuclear weapons.

Neutralization theory
Gresham Sykes and David Matza's neutralization theory explains how deviants justified their deviant behaviors by adjusting the definitions of their actions and by explaining to themselves and others the lack of guilt of their actions in particular situations. There are five different types of rationalizations, which are the denial of responsibility, the denial of injury, the denial of the victim, the condemnation of the condemners, and the appeal to higher loyalties.
The denial of responsibility is the argument that the deviant was helplessly propelled into the deviance, and that under the same circumstances, any other person would resort to similar actions. The denial of injury is the argument that the deviant did not hurt anyone, and thus the deviance is not morally wrong, due to the fundamental belief that the action caused no harm to other individuals or to the society. The denial of the victim is the argument that possible individuals on the receiving end of the deviance were not injured, but rather experiences righteous force, due to the victim's lack of virtue or morals. The condemnation of the condemners is the act by which the deviant accuses authority figures or victims for having the tendency to be equally deviant, and as a result, hypocrites. Finally, the appeal to higher loyalties is the belief that there are loyalties and values that go beyond the confines of the law; friendships and traditions are more important to the deviant than legal boundaries.

Edwin Lemert developed the idea of primary and secondary deviation as a way to explain the process of labeling. Primary deviance is any general deviance before the deviant is labeled as such. Secondary deviance is any action that takes place after primary deviance as a reaction to the institutions.
When an actor commits a crime (primary deviance), however mild, the institution will bring social penalties down on the actor. However, punishment does not necessarily stop crime, so the actor might commit the same primary deviance again, bringing even harsher reactions from the institutions. At this point, the actor will start to resent the institution, while the institution brings harsher and harsher repression. Eventually, the whole community will stigmatize the actor as a deviant and the actor will not be able to tolerate this, but will ultimately accept his or her role as a criminal, and will commit criminal acts that fit the role of a criminal.
Primary And Secondary Deviation is what causes people to become harder criminals. Primary deviance is the time when the person is labeled deviant through confession or reporting. Secondary deviance is deviance before and after the primary deviance. Retrospective labeling happens when the deviant recognizes his acts as deviant prior to the primary deviance, while prospective labeling is when the deviant recognizes future acts as deviant. The steps to becoming a criminal are:
Primary deviation.
Social penalties.
Secondary deviation.
Stronger penalties.
Further deviation with resentment and hostility towards punishers.
Community stigmatizes the deviant as a criminal. Tolerance threshold passed.

Starbucks, the king of coffee beans, sold its first shares of stock to the public today, and lines were as long as the queues at its 140 locations in seven metropolitan areas.
Starbucks' 2.1 million shares were priced to start trading at $17 a share, but the stock opened $4 higher at $21, and closed at $21.50. At that price, it made Chairman Howard Schultz's 1.1 million shares worth $23.5 million.

After my short nap yesterday late evening, when back to sleep after midnight and slept pretty soundly until after 7. Had a dream that seemed to occur just before I woke up. I was inside some kind of missile. Seems like it was an SM2-ER on the Wainwright's launcher and it was going to send me into orbit or outer space maybe. When I woke up, I heard lyrics from that song:

Didn't start feeling alert until 9 am. That's when I realized I had a doctor's appt at 10am and I didn't know where it was. They sent me a map with driving directions but I had no idea which bus got there. I could have found it in 2 minutes if I had an internet connection, but I did not.
