So where was that? France? Toulon France? Maybe. That was my last stop before flying back to the United States, similar to the 1991 film where they are going to Mexico, I was riding from Monaco France to Toulon France in the back of the mail truck and I was seriously hung over from drinking too much and I was crashed on a pile of boxes in the back of the mail truck that would take me to the US military flight back to Charleston SC. A serious windstorm had blown through Monaco just about that time. The plane flew for what seemed to be only a few minutes before we had several hours of wait time at another airport to repair something that had gone wrong with the airplane.

Spokane Valley hit hard by windstorm
Spokane Valley is facing a major cleanup effort after last night's windstorm. This morning power remains out in large parts of the city and crews are working on clearing major arterials of falling trees and signs first, then hitting the neighborhood streets.
City manager Mike Jackson said the city received 60 phone calls overnight from residents reporting trees and power lines down.
"We have two city crews and a Geiger crew out clearing off the streets right now," Jackson said. "Crews worked all night clearing trees where they could."
Overnight, Spokane Valley residents reported at least 30 trees down on major arterials and streets.
"I'm sure there are many more we have not heard of yet," Jackson said.
The large power outage means many signals aren't working and Jackson urged people to be careful if they drive out.
City Hall is open today.
"We ar are responding as fast as we can to the calls we get," Jackson said. "People may not get a response right away but we are listening and working on it."

An arctic cold front poised just north of the Canadian border is going to drop southward today, bringing gusty northeast winds to the wind-battered Inland Northwest starting this afternoon.
This comes on the heels of a moderate snowstorm early Tuesday that slickened roads and added to the region’s weather woes.
More than 20,000 power customers remain in the dark on the eighth day after the Nov. 17 windstorm.

I woke up a short while ago from an extended nap that I guess was three hours at more or two hours. I cannot shake the feeling I have had since waking up and looking at the clock to see the 8 AM hour and I would say the time of day right now is closer to 3 PM or even 4 PM.

Before I fell asleep or maybe after I had dozed off shortly after trying to fall asleep, a sequence of numbers was running through my mind. I thought of 672 then 483 then 129. I thought I would easily forget that sequence of numbers but I have not forgotten it.

Plate tectonics (from the Late Latin tectonicus, from the Greek: "pertaining to building") is a scientific theory describing the large-scale motion of Earth's lithosphere. The theoretical model builds on the concept of continental drift developed during the first few decades of the 20th century. The geoscientific community accepted plate-tectonic theory after seafloor spreading was validated in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The lithosphere, which is the rigid outermost shell of a planet (the crust and upper mantle), is broken up into tectonic plates. The Earth's lithosphere is composed of seven or eight major plates (depending on how they are defined) and many minor plates. Where the plates meet, their relative motion determines the type of boundary: convergent, divergent, or transform. Earthquakes, volcanic activity, mountain-building, and oceanic trench formation occur along these plate boundaries.

Edwin Powell Hubble (November 20, 1889 – September 28, 1953) was an American astronomer who played a crucial role in establishing the field of extragalactic astronomy and is generally regarded as one of the most important observational cosmologists of the 20th century.
Edwin Hubble is also known for providing substantial evidence that many objects then classified as "nebulae" were actually galaxies beyond the Milky Way. American astronomer Vesto Slipher provided the first evidence for this argument almost a decade before.
Discoveries
The universe goes beyond the Milky Way galaxy
Edwin Hubble's arrival at Mount Wilson Observatory, California in 1919 coincided roughly with the completion of the 100-inch (2.5 m) Hooker Telescope, then the world's largest. At that time, the prevailing view of the cosmos was that the universe consisted entirely of the Milky Way Galaxy. Using the Hooker Telescope at Mt. Wilson, Hubble identified Cepheid variables (a kind of star that is used as a means to determine the distance from the galaxy – see also standard candle) in several spiral nebulae, including the Andromeda Nebula and Triangulum. His observations, made in 1922–1923, proved conclusively that these nebulae were much too distant to be part of the Milky Way and were, in fact, entire galaxies outside our own. This idea had been opposed by many in the astronomy establishment of the time, in particular by the Harvard University-based Harlow Shapley. Despite the opposition, Hubble, then a thirty-five-year-old scientist, had his findings first published in The New York Times on November 23, 1924, and then more formally presented in the form of a paper at the January 1, 1925 meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
