(a) Whoever, with intent or reason to believe that it is to be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of a foreign nation, communicates, delivers, or transmits, or attempts to communicate, deliver, or transmit, to any foreign government, or to any faction or party or military or naval force within a foreign country, whether recognized or unrecognized by the United States, or to any representative, officer, agent, employee, subject, or citizen thereof, either directly or indirectly, any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, note, instrument, appliance, or information relating to the national defense, shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life, except that the sentence of death shall not be imposed unless the jury or, if there is no jury, the court, further finds that the offense resulted in the identification by a foreign
power (as defined in section 101(a) of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978) of an individual acting as an agent of the United States and consequently in the death of that individual, or directly concerned nuclear weaponry, military spacecraft or satellites, early warning systems, or other means of defense or retaliation against large-scale attack; war plans; communications intelligence or cryptographic information; or any other major weapons system or major element of defense strategy.
(b) Whoever, in time of war, with intent that the same shall be communicated to the enemy, collects, records, publishes, or communicates, or attempts to elicit any information with respect to the movement, numbers, description, condition, or disposition of any of the Armed Forces, ships, aircraft, or war materials of the United States, or with respect to the plans or conduct, or supposed plans or conduct of any naval or military operations, or with respect to any works or measures undertaken for or connected with, or intended for the fortification or defense of any place, or any other information relating to the public defense, which might be useful to the enemy, shall be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life.
(c) If two or more persons conspire to violate this section, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be subject to the punishment provided for the offense which is the object of such conspiracy.
(d)
(1) Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall forfeit to the United States irrespective of any provision of State law—
(A) any property constituting, or derived from, any proceeds the person obtained, directly or indirectly, as the result of such violation, and
(B) any of the person’s property used, or intended to be used, in any manner or part, to commit, or to facilitate the commission of, such violation.

Ironman North America, the Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city of Tempe are proud to announce the addition of the newest race in the Ironman North America series, Ironman Arizona. The inaugural Ironman Arizona is set to take place on Saturday, April 9, 2005. The five-year agreement makes Tempe one of only five sites in the continental United States to host a sanctioned Ironman event.
"Tempe is a great fit for Ironman North America," said Ironman North America President Graham Fraser. "One of our goals has been to host an Ironman in a large scale market and the Tempe region is a great market for our venture in the Southwest. There is great excitement about this event already."
Ironman triathlon is considered one of the most grueling and most inspiring events in all of sports. Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a complete marathon (26.2 miles) all in succession. Athletes have 17 hours to complete the event (from the 7 a.m. start until midnight).
The event has been made possible by cooperation between Ironman North America, the city of Tempe, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city of Fountain Hills and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, as well the State of Arizona and the Arizona Department of Transportation.
"As Governor, I am proud of Tempe, Fountain Hills, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for working together -- not only to create an outstanding Ironman course, but for bringing more than $4 million in tourism to Arizona with this event," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano of the announcement.
What began as a bet among a group of Naval officers 25 years ago now has become an international phenomenon, with 16 events around the world featuring more than 20,000 athletes annually. The crux of the original argument -- were swimmers, cyclists or runners the fittest?
So on February 18, 1978, 15 competitors decided to put themselves to the test by swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles. And thus, Ironman triathlon was born.

For disinformation to be effective, we would want the Chigs to crack the code. Why would the code be written in a language that even other people on Earth couldn't crack?

Seven Days (also written as 7 Days) is a science fiction television series based around the premise of time travel.
The plot follows a secret branch of the United States' National Security Agency who have developed a time travelling device based upon alien technology found at Roswell. As the opening of the show says, the Chronosphere, or Backstep Sphere, sends one human being back in time seven days to avert disasters. The show's name refers to the fact that the Backstep Project can only backstep seven days because of limitations imposed by the fuel source and its reactor. As the fuel source is limited, there is a strict mandate that they only Backstep for events relating to "National Security". The backstep team and the equipment are stationed in a base called Never Never Land, which is in a secret location somewhere in the desert of Nevada.
Project Backstep
Project Backstep was initiated by the National Security Agency (NSA) after the Roswell incident of 1947. The crashed alien saucer was taken to a secret base called "Never Never Land" (inspired by Groom Lake in Area 51, nicknamed in real-life as "Dreamland") in the Nevada Desert where it was reverse-engineered (similar to Bob Lazar's story about his job at the S-4 base).
By reverse-engineering the alien technology, they were able to create a time machine. The "time machine" consists of more than just the Chronosphere, including the Chronosphere's hangar and its supporting equipment. The Chronosphere is a vessel to transport the Chrononaut through space and time.
The time machine uses Element-115 salvaged from the Roswell crash. This transuranic element allowed them to generate a time distortion field around the Chronosphere which will displace it through space and time. The sphere is usually teleported away from the hangar and into space, after which the chrononaut, Frank Parker, will steer the sphere towards the required space and time coordinates

Ironman North America, the Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city of Tempe are proud to announce the addition of the newest race in the Ironman North America series, Ironman Arizona. The inaugural Ironman Arizona is set to take place on Saturday, April 9, 2005. The five-year agreement makes Tempe one of only five sites in the continental United States to host a sanctioned Ironman event.
"Tempe is a great fit for Ironman North America," said Ironman North America President Graham Fraser. "One of our goals has been to host an Ironman in a large scale market and the Tempe region is a great market for our venture in the Southwest. There is great excitement about this event already."
Ironman triathlon is considered one of the most grueling and most inspiring events in all of sports. Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a complete marathon (26.2 miles) all in succession. Athletes have 17 hours to complete the event (from the 7 a.m. start until midnight).
The event has been made possible by cooperation between Ironman North America, the city of Tempe, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city of Fountain Hills and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, as well the State of Arizona and the Arizona Department of Transportation.
"As Governor, I am proud of Tempe, Fountain Hills, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for working together -- not only to create an outstanding Ironman course, but for bringing more than $4 million in tourism to Arizona with this event," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano of the announcement.
What began as a bet among a group of Naval officers 25 years ago now has become an international phenomenon, with 16 events around the world featuring more than 20,000 athletes annually. The crux of the original argument -- were swimmers, cyclists or runners the fittest?
So on February 18, 1978, 15 competitors decided to put themselves to the test by swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles. And thus, Ironman triathlon was born.

June 8, 2002 Ironman Utah!
On Ironman morning as I battled 6-foot swells in Utah Lake, swallowing lung sized gulps of dark brown Utah Lake water, I feared that perhaps that dream just might become reality.
Unfortunately it WAS reality for fellow Ironman swimmer John Boland from Redondo Beach, California who lost his life in Utah Lake that day. The only swimming fatality in the history of Ironman happened in that Lake that day probably no more than a stone's throw away from me.
I was worried about the mass swim start in the dark, murky water. How long would I be bashed about? Will I lose my goggles? How can I spot other swimmers under the muddy water? - I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face during yesterday's practice swim!

A 112-mile cycling segment begins as triathletes exit Utah State Park, heading east on Center Street and proceeding north to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon, to Lincoln Beach on the southeastern shores of Utah Lake and to the north end of Mona Lake before returning to Provo and the BYU campus.
A 26.2-mile marathon takes runners on loops from BYU north to Orem's Center Street, south to southern Provo and then concluding at the BYU Track and Field Complex.

Ironman North America, the Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city of Tempe are proud to announce the addition of the newest race in the Ironman North America series, Ironman Arizona. The inaugural Ironman Arizona is set to take place on Saturday, April 9, 2005. The five-year agreement makes Tempe one of only five sites in the continental United States to host a sanctioned Ironman event.
"Tempe is a great fit for Ironman North America," said Ironman North America President Graham Fraser. "One of our goals has been to host an Ironman in a large scale market and the Tempe region is a great market for our venture in the Southwest. There is great excitement about this event already."
Ironman triathlon is considered one of the most grueling and most inspiring events in all of sports. Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a complete marathon (26.2 miles) all in succession. Athletes have 17 hours to complete the event (from the 7 a.m. start until midnight).
The event has been made possible by cooperation between Ironman North America, the city of Tempe, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city of Fountain Hills and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, as well the State of Arizona and the Arizona Department of Transportation.
"As Governor, I am proud of Tempe, Fountain Hills, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for working together -- not only to create an outstanding Ironman course, but for bringing more than $4 million in tourism to Arizona with this event," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano of the announcement.
What began as a bet among a group of Naval officers 25 years ago now has become an international phenomenon, with 16 events around the world featuring more than 20,000 athletes annually. The crux of the original argument -- were swimmers, cyclists or runners the fittest?
So on February 18, 1978, 15 competitors decided to put themselves to the test by swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles. And thus, Ironman triathlon was born.

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (NNS) -- Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command San Diego sponsored Chief Special Operations Mitchell Hall, a Navy Sea, Air, Land (SEAL) instructor from the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) School, Coronado, Calif., in the Ironman World Championship Triathlon, held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Oct. 21.
The 2006 Ironman Championship marks the first time the Navy SEAL was officially sponsored by his command.
Hall, one of five Navy representatives to cross the finish line, served as a recruiting "advertisement" for the Navy and the SEAL community.
For Hall, training for the Ironman was similar to the rigorous training found in the BUD/S program. To complete the Ironman triathlon, an athlete must swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and then run a 26.2-mile marathon. By completing the triathlon, Hall hopes to inspire other physically fit sailors to become a SEAL.
"Our goal is to get 300 to 400 more SEALS in the next three or four years," he said.
His bike is a traveling billboard for the Navy program, with its blue-and-yellow SEAL emblems emblazoned on the frame and wheel rims.
"Becoming a SEAL is not effortless, it take’s a lot of hard work and motivation," said Cmdr. Duncan Smith (SEAL), NSW leading SEAL motivator. “We have to be realistic in our recruiting efforts, we need motivated individuals to apply."

Windtalkers is a 2002 action war film directed by John Woo, director of Face/Off. Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater star as two US Marine sergeants assigned to protect Navajo code talkers in Saipan during World War II.
The film begins with then Corporal Joe Enders (Cage) and a platoon of his fellow Marines fighting Japanese forces on Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands in 1943. The outnumbered Marines are killed one by one, and as Enders mourns over the body of a friend, a grenade explosion knocks Enders unconscious.
Enders is then transported to a field hospital where he is awarded the Purple Heart, before being transported to a military hospital. By mid-1944 Enders has mostly healed from his physical wounds except for troubled hearing in one ear. Code talkers is a term used to describe people who talk using a coded language. It is frequently used to describe Native Americans who served in the United States Marine Corps whose primary job was the transmission of secret tactical messages. Code talkers transmitted these messages over military telephone or radio communications nets using formal or informally developed codes built upon their native languages. Their service was very valuable since ordinary codes and ciphers in shared languages can be broken, but codes based on a unique language must be studied for a long time before being understood.
The name code talkers is strongly associated with bilingual Navajo speakers specially recruited during World War II by the Marines to serve in their standard communications units in the Pacific Theater. Tempe to play host to the Ironman Arizona Triathlon

With the addition of Tempe, Ironman now hosts a full-distance Ironman in every corner of continental North America. The new date: April 9, 2005
Ironman North America, the Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau and the city of Tempe are proud to announce the addition of the newest race in the Ironman North America series, Ironman Arizona. The inaugural Ironman Arizona is set to take place on Saturday, April 9, 2005. The five-year agreement makes Tempe one of only five sites in the continental United States to host a sanctioned Ironman event.
"Tempe is a great fit for Ironman North America," said Ironman North America President Graham Fraser. "One of our goals has been to host an Ironman in a large scale market and the Tempe region is a great market for our venture in the Southwest. There is great excitement about this event already."
Ironman triathlon is considered one of the most grueling and most inspiring events in all of sports. Ironman triathlon features a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a complete marathon (26.2 miles) all in succession. Athletes have 17 hours to complete the event (from the 7 a.m. start until midnight).
The event has been made possible by cooperation between Ironman North America, the city of Tempe, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, the city of Fountain Hills and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, as well the State of Arizona and the Arizona Department of Transportation.
"As Governor, I am proud of Tempe, Fountain Hills, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for working together -- not only to create an outstanding Ironman course, but for bringing more than $4 million in tourism to Arizona with this event," said Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano of the announcement.
What began as a bet among a group of Naval officers 25 years ago now has become an international phenomenon, with 16 events around the world featuring more than 20,000 athletes annually. The crux of the original argument -- were swimmers, cyclists or runners the fittest?
So on February 18, 1978, 15 competitors decided to put themselves to the test by swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles and running 26.2 miles. And thus, Ironman triathlon was born.
"At the risk of sounding redundant, this event would not have been possible without the creation of Town Lake." Mayor Neil Giuliano said.

In the United States, and in American-dominated sources, this war is the default "Civil War," with other civil wars noted or inferred from context.
