Clinton bags two ducks
COTTON PLANT, Ark. -- President Clinton emerged from the woods Tuesday with two dead ducks in his hand and a smile on his face after a morning hunting with old friends.
"We all shot them with weapons, I might add, that were not affected by the crime bill," Clinton said, seeking to assure sportsmen who opposed some of his gun control measures. "We did the right thing to ban assault weapons . . . but we're all still hunting; nobody lost their guns." ....
