General of the Armies and General of the Armies of the United States are the highest possible ranks in the United States Army.
After World War II, which saw the introduction of U.S. "5-star" officers who outranked Washington, both Congress and the President revisited the issue of Washington's rank. To maintain George Washington's proper position as the first Commanding General of the United States Army, he was appointed, posthumously, to the grade of General of the Armies of the United States by congressional joint resolution Public Law 94-479 January 19, 1976, approved by President Gerald R. Ford on October 11, 1976. The law established the grade as having "rank and precedence over all other grades of the Army, past or present,"clearly making it superior to General of the Army. Gates Gets Quicken -- Deal Gives Microsoft Big Share Of Personal- Finance Market

Bill Gates has ridden the personal computer from the domain of techno nerds into business and the home. Now he wants to transform the lowly checkbook.
By agreeing to buy Intuit Inc., maker of the popular Quicken personal-finance program and the most popular tax-preparation programs, Microsoft overnight will dominate a growing marketplace of electronic consumer transactions.
Gates calls that market a pot of gold and has long coveted it.
Microsoft yesterday said it would swap its stock for Intuit's stock in a deal worth $1.5 billion, one of the largest transactions ever in the software industry. The deal is subject to government approval.

Tsar Bomba
Tsar Bomba, literally "Tsar-bomb", is the nickname for the AN602 hydrogen bomb (codenamed "Ivan"[citation needed] by its developers) — the largest, most powerful nuclear weapon ever detonated, and currently the most powerful explosive ever detonated in human history.
Developed by the Soviet Union, the bomb was originally designed to have a yield of about 100 megatons of TNT (420 PJ); however, the bomb yield was reduced by half in order to limit the amount of nuclear fallout that would result. One bomb was built and tested on October 30, 1961, in the Novaya Zemlya archipelago. The weapon never entered service.
A mock bomb was stored in the Russian Nuclear Weapons Museum in Sarov.
The Tsar Bomba was a three-stage hydrogen bomb with a yield of 57 megatons (Mt). This is equivalent to ten times the amount of all the explosives used in World War II combined, including Little Boy and Fat Man, the bombs that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A three-stage H-bomb uses a fission bomb primary to compress a thermonuclear secondary, as in most H-bombs, and then uses energy from the resulting explosion to compress a much larger additional thermonuclear stage. However, there is evidence that the Tsar Bomba had a number of third stages rather than a single very large one.
