Harassment Suit Against Clinton Gets Green Light

WASHINGTON - A federal appeals-court panel ruled today that a sexual-harassment case filed against President Clinton by a former Arkansas state employee can go to trial.
Clinton's attorney has argued that the president should not be questioned under oath on such matters while serving as president.
A three-judge appeals panel in St. Louis decided by a 2-1 margin that the case can proceed.
"A sitting president is not immune from civil suits for his unofficial acts," the court ruled.
