The premiere date for the 2005 film "Good Night, Good Luck" is in October 2005 and when I saw it would premiere in Seattle I wanted to go see it but the only place it was playing was some theatre in Lower Queen Anne that I had never heard of before. I looked it up on the map and took the metro bus over there, I think. I might have walked all the way over there. I don't recall. But what I do recall is that the zombie weatherman on KOMO 4 evening news said something on television before that and I wondered what I would see when I saw that film on the day it premiered in Seattle. That was the same guy on Seattle's KOMO 4 television news who would later show the guy painting the canvas board at that stop sign.
The name of that theatre is Uptown. It is at the intersection of Queen Anne and Republican. Queen Anne Avenue goes straight up the hill.
