May 4, 2005, was the day I went to the Kent Police department for help. I named George W. Bush specifically as one of the people harassing me. The policeman didn’t ask me any questions. He dumped me off at the St. Francis hospital in Federal Way where the first thing they did was secretly drug my food. I found it very hard to restrain the urge to laugh shortly after I had eaten.

I sleep in my Jeep for the next 14 days before I went into the Redmond Police Department, exhausted, and asked them for help because I had lived in that town before Kent and I had worked for Microsoft, which was based in that town. They didn’t ask me any questions and just dumped me off at the hospital.

This Is the Army is a 1943 American wartime motion picture produced by Hal B. Wallis and Jack L. Warner, and directed by Michael Curtiz, and a wartime musical designed to boost morale in the U.S. during World War II, directed by Sgt. Ezra Stone. The screenplay by Casey Robinson and Claude Binyon was based on the 1942 Broadway musical by Irving Berlin, who also composed the film's 19 songs and broke screen protocol by singing one of them. The movie features a large ensemble cast, including George Murphy, Joan Leslie, Alan Hale, Sr., Rosemary DeCamp, and Lt. Ronald Reagan, while both the stage play and film included soldiers of the U.S. Army that were actors and performers in civilian life.
The movie follows the life of Jerry Jones (Murphy) and his son Johnny (Reagan) over the course of two world wars.

Coffee Retailer Ready To Roast N.Y. -- Upper West Side Gets Shop Tomorrow

New York's first Starbucks retail store is opening tomorrow on the Upper West Side, a diverse and lively neighborhood about as close as Manhattan gets to Seattle.
With two huge espresso bars and spacious seating, the 2,200-square-foot outlet is Starbucks' biggest store, said President and Chief Executive Howard Schultz. He said new technology and equipment will enable the store to provide the speedier service New Yorkers expect.
"We've never entered a market as densely populated as New York, and we've never had so many people come to our door prior to the opening of a store," said Schultz

WASHINGTON -- In an extraordinary White House news conference, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton fielded questions for more than an hour Friday, denying that there were improprieties related to the Whitewater Development Corp. or her commodities market investments.
She said the confusion about the Clintons' 1970s financial dealings -- which has sparked the appointment of a special counsel and calls by Republicans for congressional hearings -- resulted from "our inexperience in Washington" and the demands for personal information.
"It's a learning experience -- sometimes a difficult one," Clinton said. "This is not a long-term problem or issue in any way, but I don't want anybody to have the wrong impression of either of us, and I don't want anything to interfere with doing what the people of this country need done."
Clinton appeared relaxed as she sat in a chair framed by the fireplace in the State Dining Room. A portrait of Lincoln looked down upon her.
In a calm, commanding, occasionally apologetic performance, she lost her composure only once, when asked about former President Nixon, who was said to be near death at the time. She noted that she lost her own father a year ago this month and, as tears welled in her eyes, she said she felt for Nixon's daughters.
