It's Wayne Enterprises, Mr. Earle.
I'm sure they'll call back.

:46:48
Bruce? You're supposed to be dead.

:46:50
I'm sorry to disappoint.

:46:52
-I need you to take a look at this.
-Have you seen him yet?

:46:55
-Who?
-Wayne.

:46:57
It's been all over the news.
He's back.

Eugene Cernan at the beginning of this television movie talking about how he called the Moon "home" for 3 days and then he went on to say that it was science-fiction, which reminds me of something I heard from him in the recent "When We Left The Earth" episodes. Other dialog establishes how one astronauts father was born around the time of the Wright Brothers and could barely believe that his son went to the Moon, while that astronauts 5-year-old son had no problem with believing it. Was Cernan refering to how he was an actor and also a qualified astronaut who was employed by NASA to protect classified information on a matter critical to national security and that does not necessarily represent his personal experience? Or is he an actor and astronaut who is pretending to be the actor and astronaut who did not make the space flights he is known to have made?

One reason is that there were people who actually wanted to see the comet hit the Earth and to let the Earth burn and that is why they had me in their gunsights so often. I would have been taken off the program after more than one attempt to kill me but the deciders decided I was probably the only person they knew of at the time who had a chance of succeeding in my mission to divert the comet and I needed all the training time in space that I could get.

Then after my mission was successful and I returned to Earth, I decided to remain in the military so that I could serve as the best opportunity to root out the national traitors, such as the George Bush crime syndicate, that have infiltrated the U.S. government. I am prosecuting the George Bush crime syndicate, which includes such accomplices as Barack Obama of the Microsoft-Corbis-Al Qaeda alliance, including Fisher Communication and KOMO-TV, and their so-far unnamed criminal co-conspirators and/or those criminal conspirators that have been named by me but that have not been identified by me yet as criminal co-conspirators of the George Bush crime syndicate and the Microsoft-Corbis-Al Qaeda alliance.

After returning to Earth in 1977, I also had the kind of experience in space that no other human has yet to even approach even today and that was by the time I was only 18 years of age.

In the Shadow of the Moon (2007)

Released in USA on DVD February 12, 2008.

Between 1968 and 1972, nine American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon, and 12 men walked upon its surface. They remain the only human beings to have stood on another world. This chronicle brings together, possibly for the first and last time, the surviving crew members from every single Apollo mission that flew to the Moon; it also allows them to tell their story in their own words. First-hand testimony is interwoven with visual archival material which has been re-mastered from the original NASA film footage--much of it never used before. As a result, this space 'epic' communicates the daring, the danger, the pride, and the promise of this extraordinary era in history when the whole world literally looked up at America.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_Mars_Odyssey

2001 Mars Odyssey is a robotic spacecraft orbiting the planet Mars. Its mission is to use spectrometers and imagers to hunt for evidence of past or present water and volcanic activity on Mars. It is hoped that the data Odyssey obtains will help answer the question of whether life has ever existed on Mars. It also acts as a relay for communications between the Mars Explorations Rovers and Earth. The mission was named after the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, and refers to the differences between the movie and real life by the year 2001.

Odyssey was launched April 7, 2001 on a Delta II rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, and reached Mars on October 24, 2001, 0230 Universal Time (October 23, 7:30 p.m. PDT/ 10:30 EDT). The spacecraft's main engine fired to brake the spacecraft's speed and allowed it to be captured into orbit around Mars. Odyssey used a technique called "aerobraking" that gradually brought the spacecraft closer to Mars with each orbit. By using the atmosphere of Mars to slow down the spacecraft in its orbit rather than firing its engine or thrusters, Odyssey was able to save more than 200 kilograms (440 pounds) of propellant. Aerobraking ended in January, and began its science mapping mission on February 19, 2002.

Troy McClure's a perfect gentleman, like Bing Crosby or JFK.

Marge concludes: "I wonder where Troy is now."

Answering her question, we get to follow a DeLorean bearing a "Follow me to Springfield Aquarium!" bumper sticker. Of course, the driver is Troy McClure, and he seems to have vision problems, as he knocks almost every parked car he can find. "Hey, these cars are all over the road!" he blames, just before a siren is heard from behind. He parks,
and Chief Wiggum comes out of a police car.

Wiggum: All right, Captain Rush-Rush, out of the car!

[Troy slams the DeLorean's door in his face]

Ow, I'm seeing stars here!

Troy: No, just one! Hi, I'm Troy McClure; you may remember me from such films as "The Greatest Story Ever Hulaed", and "They Came to Burgle Carnegie Hall".

Wiggum doesn't remember Troy from such films.

Wiggum: License please?

[Troy hands his license]

Says here you need corrective lenses. Put those glasses on, Mister.

Troy: You wouldn't ask a handsome man like me to wear glasses? It'd be a crime against nature!

[groans, then puts his glasses on, which are powerful magnifiers]

Wiggum: [surprised] Gaa! Well, they do kinda make you look like a nerd... Tell you what, just go down to the DMV tomorrow, try to pass that eye test. I'll tear up this ticket but I'm uh... still gonna have to ask you for a bribe.

Family therapy, also referred to as couple and family therapy and family systems therapy, is a branch of psychotherapy that works with families and couples in intimate relationships to nurture change and development. It tends to view change in terms of the systems of interaction between family members. It emphasizes family relationships as an important factor in psychological health.

What the different schools of family therapy have in common is a belief that, regardless of the origin of the problem, and regardless of whether the clients consider it an "individual" or "family" issue, involving families in solutions is often beneficial. This involvement of families is commonly accomplished by their direct participation in the therapy session. The skills of the family therapist thus include the ability to influence conversations in a way that catalyzes the strengths, wisdom, and support of the wider system.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychologist

A psychologist is an expert in psychology, the systematic investigation of the human body, including behavior, cognition, and affect.

Contrast with psychiatrist

In most western countries, including the U.S., licensed/registered psychologists hold a doctorate in their field, while licensed psychiatrists hold a medical degree with a specialty in psychiatry. Psychiatrists are physicians who have earned an MBBS/M.D. or a D.O. professional degree, whereas psychologists have earned a doctoral degree Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. Psychiatrists generally spend shorter periods of contact time with clients/patients, and the principal method of treatment is psychopharmacology. [1] Conversely, clinical and counseling psychologists generally rely upon psychological assessment and the use of psychotherapy to relieve psychological distress. It is not uncommon for people suffering from mental illness to combine these services to maximize their impact. Medical psychologists in the U.S. military and two states (New Mexico and Louisiana) have prescription privileges, combining psychosocial and psychopharmacological interventions. Many psychologists conduct research-based, standardized cognitive and projective testing to guide the diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, behavioral/mood disorders, and personality disorders; these test results also inform treatment approaches. Administration and interpretation of the majority of these standardized test instruments require specialized Doctoral level training in psychology

What a great dream. Phoebe saw me drive back to where she was waiting for a bus and she didn't just walk up to me; she ran up to me. She didn't want me to give her a ride though to where she was going and she told me something about how this would all be over soon. I was stomping on the brake of my 1967 blue Chevrolet to try to get it to stop, but it would not. I think that was when she actually said it would all stop soon. I explained that I have this happen to me in dreams sometimes, where I can't get my vehicle to stop no matter how hard I stand on the brakes and I think she smiled. Probably because I was describing something that happens to me in dreams while I was dreaming. There is another aspect to this part of our conversation that I can't articulate. And thinking back to that dream just makes me miss her incredibly. The dream was set in the past but how I want to see her in the present. In another dream, I think I was on the set of "Fast Times" as she was acting for her scenes. There is something about her being glad I was there. I think I wore my uniform.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-4_Skyhawk

The A-4 Skyhawk was an American attack aircraft originally designed to operate from United States Navy aircraft carriers. The aircraft was designed and produced by Douglas Aircraft Corporation (later McDonnell Douglas)

The diminutive Skyhawk soon received the nicknames "Scooter," "Bantam Bomber," "Tinker Toy Bomber," and, on account of its nimble performance, "Heinemann's Hot-Rod."

The A-4's nimble performance also made it suitable to replace the F-4 Phantom II when the Navy downsized their aircraft for the Blue Angels demonstration team until the availability of the F/A-18 Hornet in the 1980s.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_flight_control_systems

Aircraft flight control systems consist of flight control surfaces, the respective cockpit controls, connecting linkages, and the necessary operating mechanisms to control an aircraft's direction in flight.

Primary controls

Generally the primary cockpit controls are arranged as follows:

A control column or a control yoke attached to a column — for roll and pitch, which moves the ailerons when turned or deflected left and right, and moves the elevators when moved backwards or forwards

Rudder pedals to control yaw, which move the rudder; left foot forward will move the rudder left for instance.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerobatic_maneuver

Aerobatic maneuvers are flight paths putting aircraft in unusual attitudes, in air shows, dog fights or competition aerobatics.

Snap Roll; Flick roll; Flick

A family of rapid autorotational or "horizontal spins," not unlike spins. Rotation is induced by a rapid pitch input followed by rapid yaw input, thus stalling one wing further than the other. This imbalance in lift causes the high speed roll.

Not sure about this dream from when I finally got back to sleep this morning. I wanted to stay awake to watch the morning news but I was feeling the urge to watch my favorite anchorperson. If I watch her, I am going to talk and who knows how many sociopaths out there are listening to all this. How can this continue??? In this latest dream, there is a recurring theme, lately it always seems to involve sand. Today I was driving a pickup along a road on a sandy hill. I was trying to stop to talk to someone that was walking along. But then I was traveling backwards, down the hill I think. I put on the brakes but I still keep traveling down the hill and away from the person I wanted to talk to. Then I put the transmission in Drive and pressed the accelerator, but all the wheels did was spin and I kept moving fast backwards, I felt frustrated. I eventually stopped and the person I wanted to talk to caught up with me but I don't remember anything after that. There was some other stuff going on, possibly it was dream manipulation to respond to my metaphor about being in an H-bomb experiment. But the recurring theme has something to do with traveling backwards and not being able to stop where I want to. It actually reminds me of controlling a ship, in that it takes time and space to stop one.

In that dream a few hours ago that I noted and that I noted I had forgot the part after hitting the rocks; it was the stop light. At some point after the rocks, I was then traveling down a highway, and while I cannot visualize that I was still at the helm of an aircraft carrier instead of driving a car on the highway, I feel as though the dream involved me at the helm of the aircraft carrier. So I was driving down the highway and I saw a light turn red and I looked down and I saw my foot pressing down on the brake but I knew I was not going to stop in time. There were other details during that part that I do not remember too well now.

I just had a very detailed dream that I won't be able to fully articulate. I was in a darkened warehouse but that wasn't the first place I had visited. The warehouse represented certain ownership of mine and in that case, I associate that visit with my ownership of "Star Trek: Voyager." I think that because it is as though someone had said I am the owner as I was in that warehouse. I also found myself thinking that it was a spooky warehouse so I turned on all the lights even though at first I did not find it spooky. There were people outside talking about I knew they were approaching and there is something about that I do not understand now that I am awake. But the relevant detail is that I showed someone that came into the warehouse an EE-PROM device that was on one of the workbench's. At some point, someone was saying something about that is how I did it. I guess it has something to do with my artificial memory.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EEPROM

EEPROM (also written E2PROM and pronounced e-e-prom or simply e-squared), which stands for Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory, is a type of non-volatile memory used in computers and other electronic devices to store small amounts of data that must be saved when power is removed, e.g., calibration tables or device configuration.

When larger amounts of static data are to be stored (such as in USB flash drives) a specific type of EEPROM such as flash memory is more economical than traditional EEPROM devices.

EEPROMs are realized as arrays of floating-gate transistors.

Remarks at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences Commencement Ceremony

May 16th, 1987

When I hear about the can-do spirit of America's doctors in uniform, it reminds me of a story about a group of marines. I hope those of you in the other services will forgive me for telling this, but the get-it-done spirit applies to all of America's physicians in uniform. These marines had been sent to the Army airborne school for training. And came the day for the first jump, the training officer told them that the planes would come in at 1,500 feet, they would jump from the plane, hit the ground, and move south. The marines seemed a little disturbed by this, and they went into a huddle. Then one of them as a spokesman for the group went to the officer and asked couldn't the plane come in at 500 feet instead of 1,500? And the officer explained that if they took the plane in too low, it wouldn't give them time for the parachutes to open. And he said, "Oh, you mean we're wearing parachutes?" [Laughter]

Memorable quotes for

Capricorn One (1978)

Walter Loughlin: Listen to me and listen good. I don't like you, Caulfield. You're ambitious. You think the way to get ahead is to come up with the scoop of the century. Woodward and Bernstein were good reporters, that's how they did it. Not by telling me they've located Patty Hearst three times like you did or that brilliant piece of investigative journalism you pulled off by finding an eye witness to the second gunman in the Kennedy assassination. The small fact that the man had been in a mental institution at the time never deterred you, not 'scoop' Caulfield. Now most reporters are like me. They are plodders. They spend a lot of their time checking little things... like *facts*. They cover mundane stories like wars and trials and hearings. You never seem to have enough time in your busy schedual to stoop so low as to cover a story. You occupy your time with tips from people who never existed. Driving your car into water and claiming it wasn't your fault. Getting shot at by unseen gunmen. Now I really hate to interrupt your meteoric career with something so plebian as a legitimate story. However, a train load of propane gas had the bad taste to derail near Galvestone and there's a whole town that just might blow up. So it would be just really peachy of you if you would join your film crew that's waiting for you on the plane at this very moment while we speak.

The United States Naval Academy is an undergraduate college in Annapolis, Maryland, United States that educates and commissions officers of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

Midshipmen are not classified as freshmen, sophomores, junior, and seniors. Instead they are classified fourth class, third class, second class, and first class.

Fourth Class, the lowest rank of midshipmen structure are also knowns as "plebes," from the Latin "plebeian," the lowest class of Roman citizen. Because the first year at The Academy is one of transformation from a civilian into a future navy officer or Marine, they are forced to conform to a number of rules and regulations not placed on their seniors, the upper three classes of Midshipmen, and have additional tasks and responsibilities that will disappear upon their promotion to Midshipmen Third Class.

The detail I do remember now is that Phoebe was expecting me to meet her somewhere and I was feeling bad because I was sitting somewhere else looking at a clock and nothing that I was supposed to be there 10 minutes ago. I can visualize her sitting in some kind auditorium and she had an empty seat next to her, waiting for me. I guess that was a long time ago because she was there with her parent but I can't visualize them. I was just about to wake up and I had the strongest sense to get up and send her an email to tell her I could not find a way to get there to her but then I realized it was all just a dream and that I didn't know how to contact her anyway. I was also thinking to myself that was not the first time I had found myself in such a dilemma. There are other details from that dream that I can visualize but that I don't understand now that I am awake.

Memorable quotes for

Rocky (1976)

Rocky: I can't do it.

Adrian: What?

Rocky: I can't beat him.

Adrian: Apollo?

Rocky: Yeah. I been out there walkin' around, thinkin'. I mean, who am I kiddin'? I ain't even in the guy's league.

Adrian: What are we gonna do?

Rocky: I don't know.

Adrian: You worked so hard.

Rocky: Yeah, that don't matter. 'Cause I was nobody before.

Adrian: Don't say that.

Rocky: Ah come on, Adrian, it's true. I was nobody. But that don't matter either, you know? 'Cause I was thinkin', it really don't matter if I lose this fight. It really don't matter if this guy opens my head, either. 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood.

Had some kind of dream that I was driving on the road. I think I was driving a pickup I used to have, that red Nissan. There was someone in another car driving along with me, following me to some destination. I remember the scenary, but it wasn't some place I recognized, it seemed to be some kind of 4-lane highway. At one point, the car following me didn't make a stop light in time and had to stop while I kept going. I found a place to turn off into a parking lot to wait for them. I think it was an auto parts store, but no place I recognize. I could actually hear someone talking, but I was alone in the truck. I think it was the people in the store. As I was pulling into the parking lot, something happened, all my windows seemed to become frozen off, as though I drove through a freezing cloud, I couldn't see anything. Then the car following me caught up with me and pulled in next to me. As I was backing out to continue, I saw a face in the car and I think it was my mother, the car kind of looked like that Bonneville she used to have. We continued driving along the highway.

Driving home the value of 'the Zone' - Marketing - AutoZone

DSN Retailing Today, Nov 11, 2002

Getting the average driver revved up about buying automotive products can be tough. Many people clearly wait until their vehicles fail before pulling into a repair shop or automotive parts store to take care of the problem. That leaves an estimated $60 billion in lost sales from unperformed annual vehicle maintenance on the table--a pretty lucrative market, and one AutoZone is intent on grabbing a share of with its "Get in the Zone" marketing message, which encourages consumers to take maintenance seriously.

The Manchurian Candidate is a 2004 U.S. American film based on the 1959 novel The Manchurian Candidate

The movie follows Maj. Ben Marco (Denzel Washington), a war veteran who begins to doubt what is commonly known about his famous army unit. During Desert Storm, Sergeant First Class Raymond Shaw (Liev Schreiber) supposedly rescued all but two members in his unit, of which Marco was the commanding officer. While this made Shaw a war hero, gained him the Medal of Honor, and launched him into a career in politics, Marco and other members of the troop feel that while they remember that Shaw did rescue them, they do not actually remember him doing it.
