COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Thousands gathered today to dedicate the new George Bush Presidential Library, as President Clinton applauded Bush for generous, valuable advice.
"Whenever I called on President Bush, he was always there," Clinton said in his speech. "It's hard to express . . . what it means in a moment of difficulty to be able to call someone who first of all knows exactly what you're up against and, secondly, will tell you the truth.
"He has done that time and time again."
Bush, in turn, thanked Clinton, "who fair and square saw to it that I have a wonderful private life."

The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is the presidential library of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States. It was dedicated on November 6, 1997 and opened to the public shortly thereafter. It was designed by the architectural firm of Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum.

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable geometry wing aircraft. The F-14 was the United States Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform from 1972 to 2006. It later performed precision strike missions once it was integrated with LANTIRN.[2] It was developed after the collapse of the F-111B project, and was the first of the American teen-series fighters which were designed incorporating the experience of air combat in Vietnam against MiGs.

According to history, there were 102 passengers on the Mayflower when it crossed the Atlantic. The crossing from England to the new world took more than 2 months, and the end of the journey was freedom. The F-15 can fly across the same Atlantic in a matter of hours. The end of its journey is still the one of the Mayflower more than 350 years ago--freedom.
That is what really matters, the purpose of a journey, and I am here today to underscore to you and to the world that this great aircraft was constructed by the American people in the pursuit of peace. Our only aim with all of this aircraft's new maneuverability, speed, and power is the defense of freedom.
I would rather walk a thousand miles for peace than to have to take a single step for war.
I am here to congratulate you: the United States Air Force, McDonnell Douglas, Pratt and Whitney, all of the many contractors and workers who participated in this very, very successful effort, as well as the pilots who have so diligently flight-tested the F-15 Eagle. The Fairchild-Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft designed to provide air interdiction and close air support (CAS) of ground forces by attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets. The Sikorsky SH-60/MH-60 Seahawk (or Sea Hawk) is a twin turboshaft engine, multi-mission United States Navy helicopter based on the airframe of the United States Army/Air Force UH-60 Black Hawk.
The U.S. Navy uses the H-60 airframe under the model designations SH-60B, SH-60F, HH-60H, MH-60R, and MH-60S. Able to deploy aboard any air-capable frigate, destroyer, cruiser, fast combat support ship, amphibious assault ship or aircraft carrier, the Seahawk can handle antisubmarine warfare (ASW), undersea warfare (USW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), naval special warfare (NSW) insertion, search and rescue (SAR), combat search and rescue (CSAR), vertical replenishment (VERTREP) and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). Very odd dream about trying to drive a car. The problem though was that I was in a seat behind the driver's seat and to the right. It seems like a forgotten dream that has recurred a million forgotten times. I was trying to navigate the car, it was some kind of van actually at that point, while in traffic, with heavy rain, going down a steep, long hill that is vaguely familiar as I analyze that image still in my waking mind. Sometime later I was stopped and I think it was a car at that point, perhaps at the bottom of the hill.
Someone I knew from somewhere, perhaps in the place I had just left, walked by and said something that I don't remember.

It seems like a important detail that when I was trying to steer that van while seated in a rear seat, I could hardly see anything outside. All the side windows were blocked and I don't remember looking towards the rear of the van. Even the windshield was partially covered, leaving only a smaller clear area to see through.
